AI is useful tool to make your researching became more faster it can help us to lower down the downtime finding information about the teams we like.

But if they are thinking about that they can take advantage to win by using AI prediction then I guess they will just get disappointed since it didn't happen yet that AI can predict the future result of the game.

I have tried AI and it does make the research and analysis easier but the luck factor in gambling still remains.
Recently I asked AI to look at a tournament and odds and find which of the high odds team has chance to defeat the low odd team. It provided me a list, I bet equal amount on each and in the end it was profitable. But I repeat the same thing next day but I lost each of them. So asking for which team to bet is not a good idea with AI but you can use it to get data and analyze it much quicker without accessing different sites. If you are deep into analyzing some game, it would make your job easier by doing hours of research in a matter of minute. With this you can cover larger number of data and different games effectively to create your own strategy.

Predictive AI simply won't have time to get up-to-date information in order to adjust the forecast (for example, if such AI works on the principle of something like RAG). AI will perform comparative analysis and may even provide you with some kind of prediction based on previous matches, but all of this will be very superficial. I am not even sure how well it can inform you about current injuries, or if it can do that, whether it will take them into account in the bets. For curiosity, you can ask it about this. In any case, I believe that asking for an opinion from AI is not a great idea if it does not even watch the matches. )

Like you said, AI will give all the statistics and theoretical information you need and if you want to make progress, you have to use those information to make your final informed decision and not rely on the AI. This is the best I can picture AI doing in sports betting. What I believe is that, AI isn't that good when it comes to prediction in general.
I've seen a post on Facebook months ago where AI tried to predict who will be the NBA Champion in the next 50 years, and in that prediction, it shows that the Boston Celtics will be the champion again after winning one last year. Obviously, that didn't happen, so because of that, I don't trust AI when it comes to prediction at all.

When it comes to sports betting, for me human knowledge is always better than AI. Learn how to analyze those teams if you want to make money on sports betting. Of course, winning isn't certain, but your chances will be higher when you analyze. Like what you said OP, AI don't know what's currently happening on those teams, so it will make an analyzation based on it's past performances, and we know that past performance doesn't equate to present and future performances.

Overall, AI can help you to analyze, but not for prediction IMO. Don't rely on AI when it comes to predicting. Rely on AI based on the data that it shows, and from there, you can analyze even better with the data that the AI will be showing to you.

So was this prediction made 50 years ago? If yes, Facebook wasn't created at the time. Was the prediction made 50 years into the future? If yes, how did you know it didn't happen like you said?

That post was created at around 2024, so he made the AI make a prediction on who will be the NBA Champions starting from 2024-2025 NBA season up to 2074-2075 season.
