Scam copy of Taitiko game

In addition to Mystix scam copy I found another scam copy of legitimate game website. Original website is https://www.taitiko.com/ which is NFT game. There is scam copy of their website:

Scam website is heavily advertised on social networks. If you come across that game do not download their software as it most probably contains malware.

It seems that both Slide-bolt and Mystix scam have same mode of operation. It consists of fake twitter profiles tweet about those games, and invite users visit their website. On the website you have option to download the game, which has high probability of malware infection.

I ran Virustotal scan on Slidebolt webpage and it seems that it was not recognized as malicious. I would be extra careful in spite that because I believe it was created by same team that created Mystix scam, and their webpage is recognized as malicious. Probably, because Slidebolt is newer website, it is not thoroughly scanned yet. Copying another website and falsely identifying as author is enough to flag them as scammers and be highly suspicious.

As we can see, the two sites are identical in terms of interface, except for the logo. If the player doesn't pay attention to choosing the official domain for this NFT game, their device will almost certainly be infected after installing the game from the fraudulent site with a Trojan. . This Trojan can allow hackers to steal sensitive information from the victim, including access to their wallets, especially if this is their primary device.

These scam sites are rapidly spreading on Twitter, as it is fertile ground for them, where they can obtain the blue checkmark and promote whatever they like to deceive the gaming community. For any large game or community, we will always find such websites targeting its users.

So please stay alert and avoid installing anything on our devices from any unknown sites, especially those promoted via social media or email attachments.

Thank you for sharing this very important information just similar to what was in the other thread. A lot of people don't know that they are visiting a cloned site and they deposit their money, they enter their details personal information and eventually would lose them. And right now, we do not bother to double check anymore once a site has been endorsed by two or three persons, we just believe that the site is legit and we go on using them without due to diligence. This is not good.

Just a little update about this scam.

I have been following what is happening with this scam and it seems that it is still being active. They even try to recruit people over twitter for beta testing, social media management and marketing and in order to participate they need to install their software that is most probably infected with malware.

Also It seems that the site was reported to scam advisor in the mean time and they got rating 1/100.

slide-bolt.io has a very low trust score which indicates that there is a strong likelyhood the website is a scam. Be very careful when using this website!

Also on Twitter they announced partnership with (most probably another scam project)

It was happy when I saw that the main website is down but when I checked the twitter of this scam project it seems that, after registrar discontinued their domain, they just switched domains and continue to promote the scam.

It's good that you posted this update. I knew they wouldn't stop when their first domain got suspended and would create a new one.

This is because the Taitiko Game community is big and someone might unknowingly download the infected game files and interact with this fake website instead of the official one..

I will submit a report to the domain registrar nicenic and I hope they review my report as soon as possible and take action to permanently suspend this domain.

I'm pretty sure they will register, or have already registered, another domain and start promoting it after the current one gets taken down.
Aside from reporting the fake website to the domain registrar and hosting service (which is the first thing to be done), I also recommend reporting those fake websites (as soon as you spot them) to the real project owners so they can take legal actions or, at least, warn their customers about these phishing scams.

As for reporting to real owners of the project, I sent them a message to warn them about this scam, but they were unresponsive
