I use 1% of my weekly income to gamble. I do not gamble at times. I did not bet since major leagues season ended. If I lose, something just makes me hesitate to gamble more and this can last for days or few weeks.

I just play casino games for fun because I know if I look for money through gambling I will lose. My last year was positive as I gained more, but this year is negative but I do not think it is more than $50 in total.

I'm not sure if there is a strategy for luck based game if you are talking about it. Everything relies on random, maybe in the slot machine you change your bet from minimum to medium to max bet and then hit a good combination or the bonus round itself. You can not continue in patient with a strategy that shows no results. Besides losing doesn't signifies gaining new experience. You can still be losing and not gaining any new experience. Like I will always say, there is no strategy that works perfectly right no matter how you switch from strategy to strategy. Personally, I believe that every type of gambling requires luck, and I even believe that if someone bets or gambles with the same strategy continuously, there is a possibility that he can still get a winning streak, as well as a losing streak. I cannot deny that you may also feel inspired when you are losing and trying a new approach, believing that you stand a good chance to find some hidden pattern that can turn around the situation. We tend to switch beliefs here and there many times without any idea whether what we are doing is effective or not, or what we are believing is the better ideology. We believe that we would win eventually after trying and erroring a certain number of times and analyzing a certain number of times. However, majority of gambling activities are not there to be beated by strategy. I know that you might continue trying just in case a new approach is going to help a lot. However, the fact is the more we are into it, the more we change our attitude, the more losing the course we do.

As far or as much as I know, strategies does not really affect gambling outcomes, what I know does is luck, most especially if what we are talking about is slot and casino games, there is no non or recognized strategy that helps a gambler make more winning off playing slot, every strategy I know in slot game is centered around making sure the gamble does not lose too much money.

we must understand what we can define as "strategy". this is a generic term that means all and nothing.
generally speaking, you can oversimplify all gambling with a dicotomy 0 and 1 . It means that you had to guess one or the other outcome.

Changing strategy maybe helpful at times however if we should focus or thinks that our winning in gambling is basically as a result of the strategies we employ during gambling then we are trying to undermine the impact of luck on gambling. Gambling is a game of luck and I believe if the luck is not on our side no matter how thoughtful our strategy may seem without luck being on our side winning is not guarantee.
