need help verifying the legitimacy of Crypto Trade Union

I’m looking for help verifying the legitimacy of a platform called Crypto Trade Union (website: cryptotradeunion.com). My investment is being held in escrow by this platform, and they are asking for transaction fees before they can release the funds. One of my concerns is I can’t find any trusted reviews or public information about them. Has anyone heard of this platform or dealt with something similar?

It's a scam. I don't have definitive proof, but you really should look services up before using them.

1. Domain registered this year and expiring after 1 year (typical of scam sites).
2. Blacklisted on several online directories.
3. Asking for fees to release funds is only done by scammers. There is no legitimate service that does this.
4. Profile photos of their team are stolen from online (Their "Head of Americas" is used by at least two different authors on Amazon, and other scam profiles).

Many more I don't need to go down as it's pretty obvious already.

If I may ask to confirm my guess, how were you introduced to this site? It should probably be either from a friend you meet online or someone who wants to make a crypto trade/deal with you that recommended it, which, in reality, could just be the same person or group of people.

With the date of the registrar as a buttress provided above, it's very likely that you are being scammed; even if you pay that demanded money, you won't get your audio frozen funds back because they were also never there.

This is your first post, and you are posting something that is a pure scam. You are asking for help but posting along with the website. They didn't even change the team photos from their website that was used on the template. They used the name Adision Grey Smith as head of the Americas Unit; that original name is William Sullivan. Take a look on their website and compare with the Amazon store.

So I don't feel you need anything else to call the scammer. I will ask you to detail proof that you escrowed through them. Please, all the transaction links and screenshots should be posted by you. Otherwise you might get negative feedback due to posting a scam website link.

However, i don't understand what you mean here, you traded on this platform and somehow your funds found its was into an escrow service run by scammers. Did you move the funds yourself or this trading platform moved it for you, or you are lying and posting suspicious links?

That's another shady domain lol, where did you find it? I would say it's probably controlled by the same team that owns crypto trade union scam.

I wouldn't be surprised if another scam platform owned by the same scammers tried to reach out to you. For example, recovery scams that promises they will get your money back. Stay safe and always be cautious out there.

If you weren't the one who transferred the funds to this platform, that means you were trading on a platform (that no one knows about) and then they transferred your balance to this platform, or were you the one who requested a withdrawal there? We know you were using a scam platform, but these details are important to confirm that the trading platform you were using was also a scam.

It would be best to post all the evidence here to confirm the validity of your claims. If you don't provide all the evidence, you'll likely be considered posting links to scam sites which will damage your credibility (flag + neg trust), or even banned for posting malicious links.

The digitalcointrades you mentioned sound strange and unfamiliar to me. Since these are all new platforms and scams are very common, it's likely that they are all scam platforms controlled by one person, This is why I asked you where you got the link from and whether it was recommended by an online friend. If it came from strangers, you need to be very careful about how you treat and trust strangers recommendations, as it's likely to be for their personal gain.

How do you even decided to trade on this totally unknown platform (I am referring to digitalcointrades.net) when there are so many legit ones? Was that one reccomended to you by someone, possibly online?

All in all, you can forget about seeing your money ever again and if you  decide tio do what they ask (sending more money), you will loose even more.

You need to understand that many times members come to the forum in the guise of asking questions, when their main objective is to post links and promote shady or untrusted services, i didn't say that is what you are doing, but i said it was suspicious.

However, if you are for real, then the truth is you have been scammed, take the loss and learn the lesson and no matter how tempted you are to send them more money, NEVER do it.

It's because you have been posting without any clue. When you have serious concerns, then you must need to provide some solid evidence from which we can see the reality. Rather, you are just posting some other website, which makes it look more suspicious that you are shilling them. Unless you provide more evidence instead of just verbally saying it, then I am pretty sure you might be in trouble.

You are newbies and are posting some suspicious links that we aren't familiar with. So we are considering you are involved with scammers and trying to promote them. You can do deep research like domain, reviews and more, problem is almost every site that asks for a "fee" to release fund is probably scam. Be careful
