Home schooling is actually a thing in the United States, so there is no problem with that, as long as it is in the best interest of the child to stay home and receive education directly from their family.
Home schooling is not available here in my country and legally all children are supposed to be educated in schools, regardless they are public or private ones.

Also, not all school are violent in the way you are trying to make them look like. Schools can be calm and pacific places for children to become their best version and turn into productive members of society in the future.

This might sound somehow to people, but if you have ever been to public schools and see how students and children are been abused everyday, you will have every reason to believe that children are been abused by their parents by sending them to public school.

I am currently serving in a public  school now as a corp member, and my few months of stay here, I have decided never to send any of my children to public school because of the way teachers abuse the students here. While the children are supposed to be in class learning, they will send them out to do farm work during classes.
While some students are learning in classes, some are out there doing farm work or labour.
These and many more reasons are why I said parents who send their children to government schools are indeed abusing them.

Depending on the country and location, because we still have some state governors and government officials sending their kid to public Schools around my country, the reason is that some of the elite public schools are still very well funded and if you happen to attend such public school you may not experienced that ugly lifestyle of most poor public schools, but then we can't conclude that anyone that goes to public schools are corrupt.

Leaders sending there children to government schools is what i dont think is possible because know matter how good you think those schools are they can never be compared to private schools except they just want to use it for political purposes and not the way it is supposed to be. Not that all government schools are bad but can never be compared to private schools as private schools are built and controlled to provide all the services needed to get to any level.
Apart from students blessed with gift of knowledge and understanding,  there is know way one can be able to compare students of private schools to those of government schools as once from private schools are way better that those from government schools.
