So in the past few days now I resumed to gamble and could still maintain those conscious and responsible gambling person.

Well good for you but don't overdo it. I have a story that I even made some firewall rules to my main machine that does not permit my favorite crypto casinos to be accessible anymore. Too much of everything is bad, and good that you are able to put yourself uncheck, btw what about your friend do you also check to see how far the same negative effect of too much gambling have affected him?

Try and check on him to know his current state and to see if he be needing your help as well, because if your friend is already addicted to gambling and hasn't make up their mind to quite, they still will pause a great risk to you keeping them around.

Maybe your case went worse to mine or totally different because I did not have to take that measure of denying myself access to any of those gambling platforms before I can get rid of my observations.

I did not have to discipline myself to that mile of yours rather I only took a slight decision to give it some breaks and it worked so well which proved I am still in good health since I can decide when to gamble and when not to without having that crave to keep gamble even while I have the chances.

I think yours was kinda uncontrollable that is why you set every access deny of those favourite platforms just to keep you safe.

I think it doesn't need a month, but you did well there, and not giving in to the urge to gamble. For me, a week will be fine. A gambler who will not gamble for a week, even though he has the means to gamble or he does have the money, means he is still in control.
It's a discipline that is difficult to achieve because a gambling addict will probably go back as soon as he has the money in his hands. If we can somehow prevent this from happening while we are at rest, then we are still good.

That was a good observation you made about yourself, at least you tried to test your consciousness when it comes to gambling. It was always advise for every Gambler to routinely check on themselves to see if they  are going beyond limit or not, because for most gamblers is already looking like they don't get a break only except when they are not financially buoyant and that is no longer gambling as the person is drifting to addiction. Gambling is a 50/50 thing, it's not a one way ticket to success, so anybody that is involved should keep in mind that your greatest success story in gambling is strategy and how you choose to reflect on yourself while at it.

All I can say is that you are lucky your consciousness kicked in timely and you got back to your drawing board and validated yourself against addiction, truth is that you were going the addiction lane and we all know addiction is not a quick trap, it is a result of overinvolvement for a period of time. This is a perfectly normal occurrence, as I believe everyone who gambles has experienced the urge to gamble more frequently without realizing it, leading to addiction and ultimately ruining their financial situation. I admit this has been my experience, but the good news is that this incident has taught me to be more disciplined in my gambling, preventing unwanted consequences like financial ruin or other issues.

I don't understand how you noticed that you were losing and you said it was fun for you, this is only possible when you are losing extremely small amount, there's absolutely no fun in losing even moderate and that's the truth about it. It's a good thing that you retraced your steps. This is something that a lot of gamblers don't recover from but you were able to discipline yourself. It's always important to take a break when losses gets too much

This is a nice safety precaution to check yourself. When in doubt always stop and check for what is wrong because the moment that you already doubted on what’s going on your gambling activities means something is wrong.

I do experience this in the past but in my case I’m already gambling in regular basis as in daily despite I have a lot of work to do. I’m not losing much money but I notice that I spend most of my free time on gambling while I have no social life already.

That is my turning point to stop gambling and reschedule my ga,bling activity to weekends only.

You’re correct since gambling games house edge makes us lose long term.

I do check myself in the past but in opposite manner. I’m frequently winning and have a long winning streak that makes me think to rest first to protect my profit which is big that time.

I become scared to play anymore because I’m afraid to lose back my profit. I’m glad because I do that since I experienced losing streak when I return to gambling but with low amount because I start low.

As a member of this Forum you should already know the danger of gambling without a time management aside from the financial management that you hard, so for sure you have what control your gambling and in that way that limit set will stop you from gambling when you already reach that limit, having that helps us to avoid possible addictions, since we already know that gambling without principle will definitely land the gambler in a mess lol me yours.
