Yes, I agree with your opinion. Many poor people rely on small loans to survive crises or launch tiny businesses. In many countires, Government provide loans or funds to poor people for their help in return they repay it after time duration allotted. In Pakistan, institutions like the Kashf Foundation and HBL microfinance Bank have empowered women to take small startups in the form of shops or salon. It helped them escape out from poverty and support their children especially those women who has to support their family after husband's death or any disease. Borrowing is not a crime if you check very well the Federal government at some point takes loans to execute some important projects if they don't have enough money to complete the project. Exactly those corrupt Leaders uses those loans to sponsor their own personal gains this is why corrupt is high in most third world countries, there is no way a country economy can be stable when their are surviving on loans and high importation of basic commodities. Currently, most countries have to rely on debt. They consider borrowing as a normal occurrence. Especially those countries that are low-income or developing countries are under the pressure of debt to meet their needs. Various corruption policies and irregularities of the governments of the countries are increasing the amount of debt. Sometimes countries try to do as they please, but in different economic situations, they are not able to do so. Yes, it would be that totally depending on a certain individuals mentality on how they would be treating up things on which if you've been that trying out to make yourself that become that too mindful about buying on material things despite of your financial incapabilities then you would be that putting up yourself into such big problem later on. I can't through your words completely because it is also true that there are many big startups whose journey started with loans, the thing is that if they had not got loans, they might not have been able to reach their current position.
This is the same in the case of global giant startup companies, just as if I know the background history of some of my local big startup companies, they also expanded their businesses with loans.
