For the past 2-3 days my bpip.org extension was automatically turned off by chrome stating that they are not longer supporting the extension. But now my major concern is that I am used to the bpip.org extension on my pc and it quickly helps me know account that is active and inactive, and or an account that is automatically ban.
Now that I do no longer make use of these feature it seems to me I am not complete, because can easily detects account that is ban when giving merits as I don't want to waste any merits on a ban profile. Although, I can make use of the site directly but seems to be lot of work for me since everything displays on every single profile I scrolling across.

Any Remedy to this?

BPIP has two versions one for chrome and one for Mozilla Firefox I recommend you use the one for Mozilla. All you need to do is install Firefox on your PC and toggle BPIP to get the Mozilla version it's literally same thing. Just  in, Firefox also have a developers version for mobile (Fire fox nightly) you can use it on your mobile phone I made a guide for it in the past I'll search for the link and add it here.

Edit;
Here is the post just incase you want to use on your mobile too..

Bpip has an official thread, I believe this belongs there more and not the forum generally.

However, you got a solution that might help. You can also add this to the official thread so the innovator can take note if his not aware.

Have you given this thread a read-through? I mean the official BPIP extension thread? I had a similar issue yesterday when I tried to use my PC and have not been able to try out the suggested solutions, but I definitely know it will be worth it.

If you are not okay with switching browsers, you can check the solution given by examplens on the official Bpip extension thread.

Okay thank you.. That means I would have to download Firefox on my pc right away, although I am usually cool with chrome browser, it's very lighter while using it to browse than firefox in terms of loading pages, I don't know if is only me experiencing this thing, sometimes even poor network connection load up my pages but won't load on firefox.

1. Use Firefox browser. Chrome is shitty anyway. I think other chrome derivative browsers are also OK (Opera, Microsoft Edge....), except just chrome for now.

2. There is a test version for manifest v3 which should work for chrome in can you don't want to migrate
Chrome and derivative/compatible browsers: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/bpip-extension-test-versi/khbigfopplfibgfgbebnkdcnbdlcalpa (Manifest V3 test version)

Technically, Firefox is more lightweight than Google Chrome. Chrome consumes a lot of RAM, which puts extra work on your system and can slow down your computer, especially when multiple tabs are open. While Chrome may load pages faster initially, over time it tends to become slower due to its high resource usage. I'm a firefox user btw.

And as others have mentioned, it's better to bring this case to the BPIP ANN thread so it can be addressed by suchmoon and the team.

I am currently using edge browser but I wasn't able to enable it on my browser as well so what I does it to just use it directly from the website to avoid stress.
The last time I tried using it on chrome it wasn't working and I when I tried I was redirected to the official thread and I read some instructions there but other said I should download Firefox to make use of it. I think you just have to manually make use of it to reduce yourself much stress.

Yes, it seems like this version of the extension is still working and 22 users have added it so far or 23 including me.
I just tried it and it worked for me with Chrome. I also browsed some discussions on the official bpip.org thread, and found some user including the OP seem to be unable to use it. But I'm curious, have you enabled developer mode?

The steps were pretty simple: I added it to Chrome, checked a few options to show, enabled developer mode, and updated. That worked for me.

I thought that at least the members of this forum value their privacy a little more than other people - but as far as I've been able to notice over the years, very few people use Tor or Firefox, and the majority still use Chrome. The forum works pretty well for me even with Tor, and it worked great with Firefox while I was using it.

Check your internet speed, AV/firewall settings and if possible upgrade your computer with more RAM - everything will work better and faster.

Currently my system RAM is 8 which I think is high enough to load pages more faster and better. Yes, about the internet speed I would say is from there since my Wi-Fi router I am using is only 4G network speed.. That means it's better than buy a newer router that is upgraded to 5G to make it simple and faster.
Anyway, I have already fixed my chrome extension. A guide was given through the original thread of bpip.org and have to follow the manual process to be able to use the extension again on chrome browser.

Firefox is also a cool alternative but if you don't feel comfortable using the Firefox since you have gotten used to accessing it Chrome, why not access it on Opera via your smartphone?

If you haven't already checked, log into your modem and check if it has the option to transmit a signal at 5 GHz - this significantly improves the quality of the signal and significantly reduces the loss of speed. To avoid confusion, I'm talking about WiFi frequency bands here, not 5G internet speeds.

You need to have duel band support in order to transmit signals at 5 GHz. Not all routers supports that. I mean the current generations models might, but many of us are still using the old router that we purchased years ago and never upgraded it once! Another thing is that AFAIK, the router can transmit both the signals at the same time, so you won't have to switch to any modes. That why it shows (1. Wifi_name) & (2. Wifi_name_5G) simultaneously.

Btw, you were referring to 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, right? I hope we are on the same page! Smiley

I don't know if I could have written it more clearly, but we're talking about the same thing. As for modems that have dual WiFi bands, I had one like that 5-6 years ago, if not more. Today there are already those that have 6GHz, although I personally have not had the opportunity to try such a thing.

Currently my system RAM is 8 which I think is high enough to load pages more faster and better. Yes, about the internet speed I would say is from there since my Wi-Fi router I am using is only 4G network speed.. That means it's better than buy a newer router that is upgraded to 5G to make it simple and faster.
~snip~

If you haven't already checked, log into your modem and check if it has the option to transmit a signal at 5 GHz - this significantly improves the quality of the signal and significantly reduces the loss of speed. To avoid confusion, I'm talking about WiFi frequency bands here, not 5G internet speeds.
Yes I understood correctly boss..
maybe I have to share some screenshots with you and it doesn't have that frequency to transmit 5 GHz, that maximum I could find from the interface ( Wi-Fi frequency bands is 2462 MHz), instead of 5GHz.

Summary..

Band Selection               2.4G
Network Mode                802.11 b/g/n
Channel Bandwidth         20MHz
Country/Region Code      Poccийcкaя Фeдepaция
Frequency (Channel)       2462MHz MHz (Channel 11)

I am sure here is what you mean right?

Any Remedy to this?
Easy fix is to switch from Chrome to other alternative web browser like Firefox, Librewolf, Zen browser or similar forks.
I can confirm they work perfectly with BPIP extensions, and I think they are all better than Chrome.
If you want to stay with browser familiar to Chrome than you can try Brave browser, but question is how long extensions will work.

I have so much love for Chrome browser and that has been what I usually use all time, now switching to another browser could make it that boring for me. But however, the issues has been resolved and everything is working normally as usual.
So I do followed the instruction on the main bpip thread, and someone posted over and I have to follow the instruction now and then extension is perfectly working now on  my chrome browser.

Most of those browsers have good user interfaces and you wont miss out so much from your previous crome browser, at least give it time and you gonna love firfox i ise the browser a couples of time and i can boldly recommend it for your use, it wont take long before you get used to it.

Just take time to read through all the first time user to set the browser to fit your preference.

Not that I don't use firefox but it's only on mobile phone I do use it, when it come of pc I didn't download it except for few days I was facing little challenge before I download here through the instructions. Of course the mobile version of it is what gets me discouraged about using it on my pc because everything is usually upside down, Lot of people has been talking about Chrome it is not fully secured in terms of privacy.
