I got tired of reading and ignoring 100 topics where people just quote the first post and rewrite the same garbage about how gambling is bad, how it's about family life, if you should gamble, how you shouldn't gamble, how it's actually good to gamble,  like come on, how about we get a topic where people can have a discussion using at least 2% brain power outside super saiyan mode.

Hint: those are the 16 jerseys of the 16 teams in the Romanian First League that is going to start!

All I can see here is direct promotion and of course all these gambling site sponsors them to get their names printed on their jerseys. Perhaps, another thing I also senses here is that those countries that ban gambling but they are watching football, what are they also representing about this and seeing their people watch football and all these gambling sites are being promoted over there shows that gambling could be hard to stop or eliminated since we can directly stop sports especially football so gambling must continue.

When Modric was showing off his new jersey as an Ac Milan player I noticed at the bottom back part of the jersey Bitpanda, I don't know if this has been since last season but I am just noticing it now.
Betting platform are now major sponsors of sport events and teams.
I am also not impressed with people trying to bastardize gambling, I even saw a post here in the gambling section about how the OP stopped gambling, I think that's absurd, this is the gambling section if you hate gambling or have stopped we don't need you to post about it.

Ups, so not 100% overall but that 90% is around the same as here, only 2 teams don't have a gamblign website a major sponsor, as I understood from reddit the one with Mol, which a gas company still has a casino add on the back, the ony one without a casino is the one in the lower left, which is the new team in the league, no idea what that thing on their jersey says.

Depends on the issue he had, if it's a real story and not made-up AI spamchat nonsense and is a guy with a long track of actual bets here that might be a real eye-opener for some.
Don't know what topic you refer to, so I won't judge based just on this, for example I've been betting like 90% of my fudns on horses since 2007, I only play for fun, I do experiements, I lose money cause I'm bored, I win cause I place wrong bets, I palce bets cause some horses names sound funny if I do quit this after two decades maybe I don't know, it might be topic worthy.

Heh, It does not surprise me at all, to be honest.
At this point I have so many teams and leagues being directly sponsored by casinos and betting companies, in the end, those sre the ones which are offering the most money for the sake of advertisement during the most important leagues and matches of the world.
I am not a follower of Romanian leagues, so I am not sure how big those casinos are, so I can only assume they are local casinos within the country.

In the case of my country, the biggest industry which sponsor our national team is a company which produces meals and groceries for all the country and to other countries, so far here it is not common to see a complete dominance of casinos and betting businesses in football leagues.

I wonder if the European Union would eventually step into the level of advertisement casinos are reaching in these leagues, in order to avoid children and teens getting influenced into starting gambling, after all, children watch those matches.

Gambling is an activity where people who have "more money" want to spend it in order to get entertainment.

Then the owner, people who work for the casino and other entities who get funded by casinos are making money from it.

People who lost a lot money in casinos aren't bad, I call them hero because they help other entities to survive, imagine if those gamblers especially they're rich choose to hoard their money, people will be more suffer.

I see no reason why gambling should get banned, people who get addicted to it fall into it by choice just like every other addiction out there. You're on point mate, I like the comparison you made with drug addiction.  Well addicted may or may not be initiated willingly but when it comes to gamble the reason for the 18 years  plus restriction is because everyone one at that age is responsible for their own actions because they're definitely mature enough to make their own decisions. However it's left for the gambler to make those choices whether or not to continue or quit their habit. And that's why gamble is not the problem  but the people are, greed is something we must learn to control because it's a part of us and those who can control their greed are the gamblers who end up being addicted.

Here in my country they sponsor everything, even events you don't imagine seeing their advertise you will see them in one or more ways. I'm not surprised that all the jerseys rocking brands for advertisement!

I can only see that our national team jersey is the only team with uniform free of adverts for now or maybe as I can see they might even have uniforms with this brands too. But anyways they mean no harm to anyone even though individuals voluntarily put themselves into addiction then blame it on excess adverts of casinos.

I find this very interesting. Although the page is in Portuguese, I translated it to English. I wouldn't have known about the important fact. On striking thing from it is that in the past companies(non-betting) and banks are the sponsors but now it is now betting companies. I don't know if it is already a trillion dollar industry yet, but I forsee the gambling industry reaching there.

It's a booming business and will continue to grow, so they would want to showcase their sites for as long as they can. I'm pretty sure other leagues and different sports in various countries will follow suit. As long as the organizations allow it, they will be there. Of course, why wouldn’t the organizations agree? It's business after all and business is about money. I'm sure the casinos pay a lot just to be advertised or promoted there. At the end of the day, it's still up to us whether we gamble or not.
