Is altcoinex.co a scam? Can't find any info online.

Hi all,
I'm trying to find out if altcoinex.co is a legitimate platform or a scam. I haven't been able to find any meaningful discussion about it online, which is a red flag in itself.

Someone I know introduced me to the site recently. And saying the plateform could P2P in 2024.

I earn profits through futures with her. I was able to see profits in the futures section, but the site always asks for a “margin” or additional deposit before I can transfer the funds from futures to spot.

That sounds suspicious to me, especially since there's no independent info about the site or user reviews. Has anyone here used it or heard of it?

Any advice or experience would be appreciated.

Is this some site that some random people do suggest or recommend? Or you have recieved up some message about that you do have some funds or some good promotions or what.?
If YES, then its a scam. They would be hooking up into those people who are that becoming that greedy when they are trying out to withdraw something.

After several years in the industry, I've never heard of that name. I think when you hear a new name, it's best to do some research first, or you can avoid it altogether. Don't fall victim to platforms that don't have a good reputation.

That was a clear red flag, none of the trusted platforms I had used before required me to make an additional deposit just to move my futures balance to spot. This scheme sounds familiar to me, because even if you make an additional deposit, you still can't transfer that balance. You're required to make another additional deposit until you're completely out of money, and still, you can't transfer that futures balance. Stay away!

Lack of information anywhere about the exchange is a red flag, but the fact that they require you to make deposit is definitely very suspicious.

I personally wouldn't touch any cex below tier 1. It's always either they are shady, scam, or they like to pull some tricks. Moreover if it isn't listed on CMC or coingecko on their exchange list, I won't touch it like ever.

The exact things I thought too while I went through the OP. That's what they ought to have done first rather than putting the cart before the horse now. Ask questions before doing, it has proved to have saved many from preventable headaches.

If you haven’t followed her advice to buy futures yet, then don’t ask her anything, there’s still a chance you can withdraw your funds. As long as the system hasn’t asked you to pay a margin yet, try to withdraw as soon as possible !!!

Don’t let her know you’re here. I hope more victims can find this. If you’re unable to withdraw your money, even if you can’t get it back, I strongly recommend reporting it to the police immediately.

I'm the same as you, not one to try out new platforms when I already have what I think is the best one. By being like us, I think fewer people will be scammed. These new platforms usually offer good deals, just like online gambling platforms (welcome bonuses, etc.) & it's really hard to avoid if the offer is too good to be true . Coming back to this topic, it seems we haven't had much of a breakthrough & to @OP, don't be too pushy about making that deposit, as you might fall for a classic scam.

What's new with that? Did she "lend" you some money to unlock your futures and then ask you to send the rest?
