Gamble can be favourable but they shouldn't fully trust it because winning is hard because luck is difficult to find.

Yea, to some extent, it has favoured some persons, while so many has also lost alot from gambling, making them taking wrong decisions or doing the wrong thing due to the frustrations that comes with lossing especially when one over gambled, or gambled with the money that is not supposed to be used for gambling.

Anyone who gives his full trust and believe in gambling is only playing around with his future and not serious with life. Gambling is just luck based game, and anyone gambling should have this in mind. This will help them reduce there expectations from gambling and make them gamble with less money and stay strong and resisting addiction

Very few follow this, while most of them are get carried away due to their emotions. Gasmbling is really fun at the beginning and it can be the same way forever only if the money doesn't hurt us financially or it will turn into a nightmare and many can't even fight a way out from that situation ever.

What motivate some people to do so (to gamble with what they can't afford to lose) is greed, they are carried away by their emotions all in the name of chasing unrealistic expectations. I don't think there is anything special about gambling, but what makes some people to have hope is because of the two faces (which is "win or lose"). Some gamblers always have hope that they are going to win at the end, and that is one of the major thing that motivate them to gamble with a  huge amount of amount. If gambling is specific and predictable, I believe a lot of people will avoid it from the first place, immediately they know it outcome. Because no one will be happy to lose their money at the end, except those who gamble for the sake of having fun.

Most of the posts I have come across here in the gambling section has always centered on negativity about gambling. If it's not about gambling making someone go broke, it will be about one negativity or the other. Sometimes reading the comments in those posts scares me, because of how some people describe their horrifying gambling experiences. This made me to come up with this post to ask this important question; Is gambling really that bad? Are there no good effects of gambling on people? Gambling can't just be all bad all the time. Well if you think it's all bad, why are you still gambling?

It is not as if gambling is so bad but it's because of the experiences from people that gambles that has made it look bad and those that don't gamble can easily use you that gambles to site an example of negativity due to how one lives and probably the person must have sold his belongings for his gambling activities,  truth be told gambling has benefits only if the gambler has a good Bankroll Management and budgets not just someone that is addicted to it.

Some people can say they gamble for fun but in that process they can be addicted to it and be wasting thier money on it, the more reason why people see gambling as a bad thing is that, it influences the mind and drains you especially when you are on loosing streak and you keep playing hoping to win so you can recover what you have lost, gambling can make someone and also marr someone. There are gamblers that has made it from gambling while there are others that have been destroyed without making profit from it, so it's a two way think but one should be cautious of it in other not to be a victim of addiction.

Even before writing was invented, gambling was a part of people's lives they gambled with animal bones. I don't think something that's so long in our history only has negative aspects. We just witness and hear so many bad stories about it, which creates a negative perception. We shouldn't view gambling as good when you win and bad when you lose.

But in modern civilization, people are now looking for a source of income from gambling. Those who find pleasure in gambling cannot be affected badly even if they lose in gambling. But those who participate in gambling for income and if they start going bankrupt, then gambling definitely has a negative effect on them. That is, if you lose in gambling, gambling is bad and if you profit from gambling, gambling is good.

Gamblers who gamble for fun can also become addicted and lose a lot of money. The point is, whether you gamble for money or for fun, you need to play with control. You know how much money you have available. Just like you set a budget for spending money, set a specific budget for gambling. This budget is to prevent you from losing too much money.
If you think about it differently, gambling can be bad for the gambler if you lose money and good for the gambler if you win. Gambling can be bad for most gamblers if they don't control themselves.

For those who gamble only for entertainment, if gambling is not good for them, it is not harmful for them; they are gambling to spend their free time. But most people gamble for the income from it, and when they lose more than the profit, then gambling has a bad effect on them. So they consider gambling to be very bad. If you want to do disciplined and responsible gambling, then you must set a budget before gambling so that you don't spend more money after losing everything. If you can follow these rules, then you can keep yourself safe from gambling addiction.

Problems or adverse effects will arise when there are mistakes that occur such as hoping big on gambling as you said, by hoping on gambling it can make them unable to accept the results that occur such as defeat and that makes them have the intention of wanting to recover losses without clarity will definitely be able to get a win that can cover the previous loss, that's where the adverse effects occur.

And it's true what you said, no one likes to lose money if it's not because they're really gambling just for fun. Everyone will feel upset and disappointed if the purpose of gambling is to make a profit. And with the positive side of gambling there is just that more visible to the public is the negative side.

You are basically right and it's rather unfortunate, but let me say that most people experiencing the good side of gambling often do talk about it but unfortunately it's not heard much and shared around as much as bad experiences gets heard and shared, and another reason why we hear about bad experiences much more than the good experiences is because is naturally designed a manner where there are more losers than winners, so in a case where 100 people are gambling for example, we can safely assume that 98 persons will be experiencing the bad side of gambling which is the losing and all, while only 2 people will be winning, so when 98 loser are complaining and talking negative about gambling, only 2 person are testifying and talking positive things about gambling, so people are likely to hear and share the negative part much more, and will likely not even here the good positive part because it's only few persons talking about that.

This is just my personal analogy of the situation and I hope it makes any sense.

All in all, it is very simple, if you maintain control, it is fun, but if you do not maintain control, it is much more harmful, and this harmful effect is much more terrible than we think. Therefore, the main thing here is to maintain control, as long as someone sees it as just fun and does not break down mentally or financially if they lose, then there is no problem. The problem lies in making profit now and the next day, you could lose more than you have won which is the return of profits to the gambling platform. Since gamblers will continue hoping for a better time to make more profit, this has not stop us from losing at the same time. The winning rate in gambling can be lesser than what we are making and this had made some people to assume that gambling has bad side compare to the good side.

Everything ultimately comes back to the gambler who does gambling and his own thoughts because even in the view of gamblers and people who do not like gambling or even always see gambling as a bad thing, it is certain that it will be very different in terms of views so that we will be very difficult to reach an agreement in this matter considering that everything will definitely have its pros and cons.

If you start gambling by following the right rules from the beginning and gamble with money you can afford to lose and can control your greed and stay within your means in any situation and if the main purpose of your gambling is to enjoy entertainment, then you will be able to survive in the field for a long time through gambling and enjoy a lot of entertainment and protect yourself from losing extra money and protect yourself from gambling addiction. And if you start gambling out of greed, the chances of losing money increase manifold. You cannot limit yourself within your limits, so the chances of becoming addicted increase manifold.
