What is no more in the Crypto Space?

Taking a little ride to the past.. I guess alot of members here have been in the Industry for a long time.. I would love to raise a discussion with this thread on the aspect of Crypto that are no more as active as before or practically has gone out of existence...

It is certain that the Crypto space is evolving as we are currently seeing a wider range of mass adoption of crypto... But at a glance back in time... What was in the Crypto space at the early time that is no more existing in the Crypto industry presently???

I know of faucets... Easy way of earning BTC when I started my journey in the crypto space... But currently I don't think faucets are still in existence...

Nor bi small thing, many things don comot from the crypto community, like beta ICOs wey they give money, now many don become 419 scheme. Abi make we remember airdrop, that oneself Don full with lie lie campaigns wey nor go ever pay people wey join them. Faucet are not in extinction, just that people no longer have interest in going after them as before, being that it's a little reward that comes along with hunting after it, this also make it more suitable for the newbies to be the ones that seek after going for faucets, but you will hardly see an experienced user on this, to some it's nothing than a waste of time.

Not quite. Majority of them currently existing if not explicitly all are scams
Even one of the most popular in early days has turned to the darkside

Well many things has come and go like FTX and many coins
This just show that everything will definitely end
Only say some dey last pass some.

And many Don fall out like Bitcoin ETF and the likes

I think you’re referring all this testnet faucet which in bitcoin it is now rebranded as tbtc but the real bitcoin faucet that was bitcoin itself before which was giving out for free although very small to help or encourage those using the coins related services. Then the price of this faucet like bitcoin has heavily gone up which simply means the faucet becomes expensive too. Before the were even some platforms who usually give out this faucets but not anymore. Only what you see now is testnet faucet which is the tbtc i said earlier.

This days you rarely get rewarded with faucet or we simply say satoshi without having to do lots of tasks which requires spending also, the only platforms that you can earn is vouchers on exchanges and this too aren’t even faucet but actually reward multipliers or vouchers to be used for trading and only the profit are withdrawable so we can as well consider faucets to be in extinction

It's really hard to tell but for me the crypto currency space just keep evolving through the Years, if you look back in the early days of cryptocurrency the difference of then and now is that there is more widespread adoption now compared to before .
Even then in1983, an American cryptographer called David Chaum proposed a form of electronic cash also called e cash it was the first  attempts at creating digital currencies that ultimately failed, then Hashcash which was Developed in the mid 1990s, it was successful for some time but still failed non have actually achieve what bitcoin has achieved ,with that then the concept of stablecoins was not as prominent with Tether (USDT) being one of the first , people don't talk about all this because they prefer to continue advancing the Cryptospace which is good but than looking back at how it started you will see we have really gone far .
 many things has happened in the Cryptospace that if you even start reading you won't stop .

I remember the era ICOs, the era of airdrops, the eras of investing in of buying crypto to Ponzi schemes. ICOs were the biggest bubble that bursted and people no longer paid attention to them. That time, discord channels where raining like mad. Faucets nko, I nor sabi that time like that sha but na those guys really make way for us sha. Good old days. Make we enjoy these days because e go soon become good old days too.

In the early days of participating in airdrops, participants will just summit his Ethereum wallet address that's all, few days later you receive the airdrop in your myetherwallet, there was no task to do all.

There was time when ICO was hurt, you participate in the early fund raising of a project and be sure of getting bigger returns, but now, e even hard to locate project at private sales.

Then the biggest centralized exchange was bittrex, poloniex, bithump, na these where the hottest exchange but now, they are nowhere to be found.

The reason the crypto space is no longer the way it should be is due to some factors

More law and order
As long as the crypto space matures, it attracts increased examination and a guaranteed avenue to making quick money is no longer visible.


Increased Scrutiny and Risk:
Im the days before now,,  crypto saw a lot of experimentation and projects that were not thoroughly vetted. Now, there's a greater awareness of the risks involved, including scams, fraud, and market volatility.

I think back then there are some free airdrop that are real and with just either joining their telegram group or making a good comment on their twitter pages gives you good rewards, I can also remember the period of IDO, IEO, ICO and something like seeding.. Again, the rate at which fake project launches has reduce even though scam aren't entirely eliminated from the space but they don't usually uses those platform to scam people anymore. 
Yes, the focus is changing gradually and everyone is becoming clever and smarter on what investment decision they should do or rush to make investment, again, bitcoin has already taken the focused on everyone which they aren't wanting to venture into another projects since bitcoin has given much more attention couples with the way nations are adopting it and using it as a store of value i.e ( Strategic Bitcoin Reserved Funds), and other countries are also imbibing on this same subjects which makes bitcoin more attractive for investment than any other cryptocurrency out there.

I miss Airdrop, Bounty now because I earned my first income from cryptocurrency through this project. I did a lot of Bounty and Airdrops before and at that time Bounty Detective campaign manager was very good and I used to work on his campaign regularly. I did Airdrops of many good projects and they paid properly and some were scams. However, due to the widespread spread of Bitcoin and people's adaptation and awareness, people now want to invest in long-term and safe assets and Bitcoin has been able to provide solutions and trust to these issues. As a result, people do not do that Airdrop, Bounty in the past so much and with time, people have now started trading, gaming and investing in Bitcoin for the long term.
