old tools.. i fix it and use it! just like i do with bitcoin..

Thats very interesting, I like old hand tools and like to "fix them up" to enough of a standard
that broken bits are fixed and blades are sharp but I rarely repaint or recoat metal parts, the
best I do with them is give them a coating of either microcrystalline Wax or ACF-50.
I see from the image you posted it seems that some of the parts on the hand drill have been
nickel plated, is that correct and did you do that metal plating yourself?
so I am closing in on the best set in the world
That’s how I feel about the stuff I collect too. Even though when I die it’ll probably end up in a box getting donated to Goodwill. It’s about the hunt!
The ones below will be very costly
1948 these 2 are
1949 only MS68 FBL
1950 this may not get up to PF69 I have seen PF67*
1951 not sure what this goes up to
1953 PF68 not sure if a PF69 can be found there is a PF68 cameo
maybe 100k for them
and the do not show up much
I can imagine, and there is defintely a fair amount of cost gone into the exiating PF69's already?
Thats some collection there.
the 1954 to 1963 cost about 12-15k
the 1952 was listed at 13500
I paid under 10k
so maybe 24k for the ones I have so far.
the 1952 I got at PF69 and there are 19 in theorythe 1953 is at best a PF69 there are 23 of them I have a PF68
the ones below I have
the 1954 comes in PF69 lists for 4250
the 1955 comes in PF69 lists for 900
the 1956I comes in PF69 lists for 2500
the 1956II comes in PF69 lists for 400
the 1957 comes in PF69 lists for 600
the 1958 comes in PF69 lists for 900
the 1959 comes in PF69 lists for 825
the 1960 comes in PF69 lists for 860
the 1961 comes in PF69 lists for 675
the 1962 comes in PF69 lists for 500
the 1963 comes in PF69 lists for 500
I think I can get the 1953 one day
but the 1950 and 1951 may cost too much to get in pf69
