How often do you go all in when playing poker?

In poker, it's usually a 5 card game, but most of the time we evaluate the hand based on the first 3 cards. Sometimes, we take a little risk on the 4th card the Turn but how far do you usually go? Because the 5th card, the River, can often flip the whole game.

Lately, my luck has been playing tricks on me with the River. No matter if it's a two pair or a three of a kind, the game keeps turning at the end.

So my question is how often do you go all-in? Or how much are you willing to lose in an all-in that still feels okay to you? Expert's opinion maybe can change my tacktics and better winning result.

Personally, I wouldn't go all in when gambling on any casino games, although the house edge on this game is low compared to others but that doesn't mean that I'm not going to play safe... going all in a such a game of probability is a big risk that can be damaging or rewarding...I don't really like poker that much but if I'm to advise anyone that plays it I would say that they should gamble with what they can afford to lose

I don't play poker but from the experiences that I have with other casino games. I don't support going all in because of how dangerous it is but you can stake little amounts of money. This helps you last longer on the game, staking above your means would make you lose your bankroll easily. The main reason why most gamblers go all in is because they are chasing their losses, gambling with  the intention of recovering can make you go all in

Really! Going all in on poker is pretty normal. Here I want to stress the fact that we are talking about going all in with whatever you have on the table at that time, WHICH IN MOST CASES IS NOT YOUR ENTIRE BANKROLL.
This is especially true for tournaments. You have to think in terms of EV while playing poker, not in terms of money, and this comes only when you are playing within your bankroll.
Going all in is no big deal, and it happens quite frequently, so need to be afraid of that. In fact if  I can tell you from my experience, it is way better to shove it all in whenever you are in doubt about going all in or not.
Of course, you have to consider ICM and all if relevant, but believe me, people overfold a lot.
In poker, it is good to have an aggressive image at the table.

i'm not a poker master, but i play occasionally. unless my bankroll is quite large, i think all-in in poker is a sensible move. after all, it's not just something you do when you think you have the best hand, you can also use it to bluff. so someone who is experienced in poker and can read his opponent's emotions can go all-in quite often compared to normal.

but the thing to be aware of is that poker is a game of psychology. if you exaggerate something you start to stand out at the poker table and probably someone will call your bluff and take all your money.

The first rule is dont gamble more than you care comfortable to lose. Since Poker game is a skill based game of odds, phycology and proper timing. Sure I can go all in, after I have evaluate the strength, reaction of my opponent. What is more important is how well I time the move, even if 60% win I will be okay with that. Poker is war but with chips. You can't be afraid to get your chips in a pot if you know or feel like you have the best hand. You want bad hands to call off their stack on a draw or worse pair. Yea you're gonna lose now and then, but if you are playing good and getting it in good it's going to even out and you probably come out ahead in the long run. It depends on the situation, I only all in if I believe I can bluff with the cards that has been shown on the table or if my card and the cards on the table are good(which is not often). also, you can't just "all in" all the time even if you think you can bluff or if you have good cards, because if you keep doing that your opponents will notice and most likely understand what you are doing.

Depends if its a game or event, Id all in sometimes since there is no wager for it. But if Im playing poker in casino, Id never done an all in yet since I needef much money for that and if I get caught bluffing obviously other players will noticed that as my face expression cant hide it when seeing it face to face.

I never go all-in in any gambling games. I don't have confidence to do that because I know that can make my minds crazy thinking the lose that I get from gambling. Instead becoming like that, I prefer to place small bet, in slot, sports bet, or poker but I don't playing poker like you.

Even if you are sure you can win the games, you don't have to place all-in. You may difficult to accept the lose so you should know how much money you can use to bet.

I love poker as a form of gambling because you can influence the outcome of the game. And if you are good at psychology and mathematics, success will not take long to come. I love the exciting moments when the last two cards are revealed and everyone must decide what to do based on the new information.
However, I manage to calmly relate to the final situation on the table if it is not in my favor. But my friend once smashed his mouse on the table because he was unlucky.

It seems like most of you guys are misunderstanding the All in here , it's not like going all in with poker is a bad thing or something totally fullish. It's usually natural to play with poker. Since it doesn't need to be blind you're calculating 70% and putting you 30% on your luck and understanding other's psychology. Mybe I should  rephrase my question,

 I was here asking that after losing the repeated hand should I focus on recovering and took the risk? If so then how many time should I comsider this is the limit to go far or I should just play my usual . Cause it's not that a big deal to recover the losing fund if I play with patience.

I’m not really into playing poker these days but I do get excited every time I played on skill-based casino games like poker. But asking how often to go all-in? Honestly, I don’t suggest going all-in with poker or any casino games, because at the end of the day you are still gambling, and that never loses the fact that there’s still no guaranteed profits no matter how lucky or skilled you are in a certain game.

It’s still more helpful if you only gamble on what you can afford to lose. Bet on the amount that you are comfortable of losing, that way even if you lose your money, you won’t get so desperate.

Thats true whenever I play poker on site, I always manage to budget my funds and only those I deposited is the only one I will used for that day, if ever I lose that then thats it. Its enough playing whether Id got caught early with the all in or play more time with poker. Its great to have some discipline mindset when gambling. Yes its addictive and being able to control your emotions not to give in reduces the addiction.

I am not an expert but every time someone's trying to bully me in the table with all of the bluffs and all-ins that they do, I'm also trying to counter that and guess what? despite that my cards are not that strong at all, it's effective. And at that time of understanding it, I guess that I've known their strategy is just to bluff and make everyone fold to take all of the chips at that round in the table. But sometimes when I get tired and I just want to see it all stop, when someone tries to all in and I think that it's all enough, I'm going in it because there were times that I was able to win despite that reason. At most times, it's jus all about being triggered when someone does it and I feel it's like a challenge that I have to take, LOL.

You should just play casually and since you've said that it's not a big deal to recover your losses, it's the best that you can do.
