How Do I Redeem A Defunct Airdrop?

I have an Atomic wallet I use for transactions. Unfortunately, I never checked the other sections of the wallet to know their functions. I recently checked the NFT section and saw I received several past airdrops but the links to claim them are now dead.

Is there a strategy to claim these even though the instruction says they should have been claimed within 7 days of the offer. I saw someone buying empty ETH wallets and wondered if it's related to issues like this.

I've seen countless of these NFT and trust me there's no free lunch nowadays without doing anything so always be careful.

Scammers like to send NFTs to your wallet advertising an airdrop on some random website. If you try to claim the airdrop, they will try to trick you into signing a malicious transaction that will drain your wallet. If you don’t know where these NFTs came from then you should just ignore them. Any NFT that you didn’t mint or buy from a marketplace is always going to be a scam.

You are right on this, and not only with Atomic Wallet. Just check your address on Block Explorer, and you will see that you have received airdrops; all you have to do is claim them.
I just checked one of my addresses on BSC scan, and it shows more than 50 NFTs and token airdrops. All you need to do is connect your wallet to their platform.
Once connected, all your funds will be wiped out, so be aware of this method and ensure you check the airdrop to verify its legitimacy.
If you did not participate in an airdrop, don’t fall for it right away.

Nobody is distributing airdrop with NFT even telling you to claim it, just very suspicious.

Usually airdrop comes with checker from a reputable project and team and even then you should always look out for the potential of phishing website.
Be careful, too many scammers out there like others have elaborated.

Then, there’s no way to claim it, as airdrops run on script, and there’s a specific time duration for claiming. I missed a lot of airdrops because I lost track of the airdrop I participated in, so I just considered it a loss.

Also, be sure to verify that the airdrop is legit, as many are just a bait to steal coins from your wallet. The most important part of an airdrop is the announcement of the TGE or token generation event, so be sure not to miss it. Some airdrops are automatic, while others require you to complete tasks.

These are usually a scam as mentioned above. It's to attract you towards their site or whatever, to link your wallet and then you get drained. I myself have dozens, if not hundreds of those in my wallet while I pretty much never link my wallet or use it anywhere, aside from sending to exchanges, or other individuals.

More than 50? Holy cow. I experienced the same thing before but the numbers are only small. It sucks as they ruin the image of your wallet and burning them into a random wallet will still cost you a lot of money. What I did instead is just send my legit coins unto a new wallet and then I separate a wallet for airdrops and bounty purposes this time.

I think there is, especially before when the NFT hype is still high. In fact, I got a couple of it but unfortunately or as usual, they only has a zero value. But I don't know, maybe their arrive is only like a souvenir or some form of token of appreciation for participating in the project's activities. We are are only expecting too much.
