I use to bet on these kinds of market options to boost the odds, but I didn’t have much success with them in the past. Still, the idea popped into my head again, and I’m thinking of giving it another shot. This is kinda like a parlay bet, higher odds, but of course, lower chance of winning. Not all sportsbooks offer this type of market though. I checked a few of the ones I use, and they don’t have it.

I don’t know, maybe it's because it’s easier to predict in some cases. Like if a certain team is expected to win and they’re known for playing strong defense, then they control the pace, win the game, and it ends up going under, that’s a pretty straightforward scenario.

I haven't bet on this kind of listing, it's either point spread or what will be the total score of a team. And as what @Botnake, betting on this kind of props has a big risk, obviously, the odds are higher and if by chance you win, then it will be a good win. However, it might not be good for some gamblers as it is very hard to hit. Even the total score something was a heart breaking specially if you lose by just .5 of a point. But there will be time that when a certain team get's hot, then by the end of the 3rd quarter, you can smell that your chances are high that you are going to win. And with that, I will say that it's better to just bet on either one of them.

I often bet on both options, and the results are actually random because I sometimes choose high odds in soccer betting. But I think when betting on total or point spreads, choosing low risk options with odds of less than @1.5 actually has a greater chance of winning. I've proven this in esports betting, and the results are better than choosing higher odds like @2++. And I actually find it very appealing to choose lower risk bets on total, as they're easier to analyze and predict more accurately.

It is a random chance to win if you go for higher odds but the probability to win your bet is more if you go for lower risk odds. I do go for higher odds myself if I see most prediction sites giving the team with higher odd chance to win base on their stats against the team with lower odd. I would bet on higher odd for single game but not in a parley because the chances of winning the bet may be reduced if you add more games to it. For example with the Chelsea vs PSG game, at a point Chelsea got about 5 odd before it started reducing to about 4 odd and that was really crazy to give a team like Chelsea such odd, which was why we got many winners from the match form betting on single. But some bettors that added games to it ended up losing. I will bet more on single higher odd.

Betting on high odds carries a very high risk of losing your money. I often do it with small stakes, but I assure you that 99% of the time, it's a loss.
When I get the bet right, the outcome is satisfactory. However, it depends on your playing style and how much you're willing to lose. Normally, you'll lose, but the right spin could come along and make a significant profit.

When betting on higher odds  i always tend to keep it in mind that the probability of wining is far more lower than that of wining, however I don't usually bet much or stake higher amount compared to when I'm betting on lower odds.  High odds  could be leveraged betting to wining an incredibly high amount even with a single game but we should always bare in mind that, the chances of losing is high as well. When betting on high odds option is like to make my selection single or double, I don't usually increase my selection.

When I read your post, I caught myself thinking that sometimes I also have a desire to return to old strategies that I have worked on. Sometimes I try to do this, but after a while I understand why I stopped doing it. I know, sometimes it seems that you can try again and maybe this time you will succeed, but in reality it does not happen and the result will most likely be the same as before, after some time you will forget about this strategy again, because it will only bring losses, because this is the reason why you stopped using it.

Typically before I place a bet on either option I compare the odds of both because the spread and total bets have a similar correlation but there's always a difference in the odds offered by the market. This is where discernment is needed when placing bets. However most of my bets are on both options, always combined with BTTS. Of course, this doesn't always work, but the odds are always more attractive.

I use the total bet market option more often and I also use point spread, it's favorable to me, i win as much as I expect but some days and weeks can really be bad, with so much loss. There's no option that is not favorable but it all depends on your prediction skill and also luck is not always absent too. Some high odds can bring win and even when you are betting on a live match, you can see how high odds continue to drop because the game is favoring the opposite team.

I prefer to go on 1x2 while betting, I mean I prefer to choose team to win the other is my kind of bet. I also bet on total bet at times but I do not go for point spread at all, it is not my type of bet.

I think the chances of losing on this combo are just too high. It’s basically like a parlay with around x3.8 odds, not even that big. Maybe around 70% chance of losing, which I guess is still acceptable.

But honestly, even if I know the risk, I still go for it. I just find it more entertaining, and right now I’m trying to chase that feeling again. There’s really no better reward in gambling than enjoying the moment, and of course, winning.

My main bet is 1x2. But i mostly bet on low leagues and it is possible to catch nice odds.
Total and point are out of my favorite bets, but sometimes i do such bets(if my analyze says that one team will destroy another for example). Such bets are difficult for calculating risks for me, so if i can bet 1x2 - i will bet it, if odds on 1x2 would be bad - i`ll watch total/point spread.

Point spread is my favorite type of bet because it gives some margin of error on my prediction in case my predicted lose the game. I rarely bet on total points because each team has varying scoring output depending on the defense of other team and different factor on the game.

Point spread and ML via bet builder is always my favorite combination pick. I’m not a sports betting regular but I do win frequently on sports betting.

I believe sticking on sports that you watch frequently is always the main key in accurate prediction.

This kind of betting market is definitely fun, but when I say "fun," I don’t mean profitable in the long run. The odds are high, just like parlays, and if you're an experienced bettor, you already know that you won’t last long consistently betting on parlays.

Speaking from experience, after trying different approaches and still not finding success, I’ve decided to just stick with the more common markets, point spread and totals. But most of the time, I go with point spread. That’s where I feel I have the better edge.

There's a potential of getting much profits but the fact remains that the risks tendency is much and your chances of loosing are quite high, so in making such bets one needs to take calculated risks. Though this kind of market can be interesting and at the same time very strategical so paying close attentions to your bets are this point matters and bet on reasonable odds.

In a combo of point spread + total bet, the odds becomes higher. And I like this strategy for gamblers who love chasing high odds by betting on a single game. This combo is better than picking the huge odd giving to an underdog team to win a favorite team. I know of someone who bet on Chelsea to win and over 2.5 during the Club World Cup final. The odds was about 7.00 odds and above, that was massive for him considering the amount he staked on it, and knowing full well its just one match to win.

If I get you right what you are talking about is accumulating multiple games to get a high odd.
 Well if that's what you mean, it is a very risky game compared to single bet. Although that does not mean that single bet has a guarantee to win often, but it's more likely to win than lose. For example if you stake 5 game in different ticket, it is possible that 3 may win and 2 lose, or possibly 4 win and 1 lose. It is also possible that all may lose entirely, but I prefer single game with less odd,  or high stake low odd, than low stake high odd. Of course that is betting on high risk which obviously may not play.

You can apply such strategy on combat sports when you see potential to one underdog which this fighter is underrated. Only a few combat sport fan can see such potential though, you have to be a real fan to see such.

I'm not sure if it happens on basketball or soccer, most of the time when its an underdog team, its really an underdog. Nothing much to see unless the top team overturns the ball over and over.

I've had a few good wins from this kind of market, but it's not a strategy worth recommending for any gambler because it's still a parlay. Even if it's only two legs, you're likely going to burn more bets before you win, and it's better to split your money in half and then bet on each one of them.

I'd rather recommend the safer alternative, which is called teasers, but unfortunately, they're not available in any of the crypto sportsbooks that i've been using.
