So I've always posted about how early entry is key when trading both spots and futures and rn the scenario has played out again. So I saw news about chainbase token listing 4 days ago and decided to participate in the Bitget launchpool for C while casually holding some of the token..

4days later, I noticed the token has done over 300% due to Binance listing announcement.



Without doing much I gained massively cos I was early.. for newbies or even pros in the game . This is the hack most people won't tell you. Stick to platforms that are early with listings, it's not a 100% but it'll surely increase your reward ratio

Maybe in other coins yes they always win, but I think it doesn't seem like it's always like that, this is just my opinion, Then if there are any winners there, I know it's usually the developers
or the whale investors of coins that are just listed on the exchange.

Now, if you make a profit there, I congratulate you anyway, but the next question is, if you do that again in other coins, will you still make a profit?
Of course, your answer is that you're not 100% sure. That's my point.

This is NOT even 1% in the end and you should include that as well. Yeah, you are luring naïve investors with a rare event as an example. How many coins/tokens get listed on binance which are fist getting listed on small or new exchanges? Only less than 1% of coin which are announced on this community. Because, binance listing is too expensive and not all devs from this community can afford such huge listing fees.

So, for gaining some 300%+ profits, I need to invest with all new coins and tokens and from that few coins may get listed on reputed exchange and then I get some profits whereas the remaining 99% of my invest turns zero (gas fees will be higher than selling them). A definite misguide, you must stop right away.

Early entry with you a great potential to win. But this is not always true. The chance becomes much higher when you can enter early into any kind of investment. But there are many instances where the value of your investment goes down immediately after listing in the market.

So I wouldn't draw a conclusion on this. Yes it increases the chance but it's not the trick that works every time. Historically crypto market has shown this kind of trend, especially with memecoins.

There are even too many bad profits that caused investor losses than the ones that actually generated profits for them. What I think is right to say is that early entry into a good project can make you win. Despite that I invest in most of these altcoins, I am very careful with them too because I have the knowledge that altcoin investment is almost similar to gambling, lucky if you meet the right project early but bad luck if you meet the bad project early too.

I like your last paragraph and that's the core reason for this thread. Buying in early is key and positioning yourself on exchanges that does that gives you an edge.. that's the message..

It was definitely due to binance listing.
Other coin that list at around the same time are having a hard time and dumping so hard namely ES, TRN, Taker, etc.

So it's clear that early entry doesn't equal to win.

I'm afraid of Bitget because they lists new coins everyday, there is no criteria for accepting coins to be listed and most of these newly listed ones are projects with less potential, no strong team behind, with their goal is for their personal needs.

Despite the fact that OP has been lucky to win in these early coins, be sure to exist early too, and never think for long term. Goodluck.

I hope that you have already sold those coins that you are holding because the price might begin to dip soon. So that, you don't regret for not selling at this current price. Only bitcoin is the coin that increases in value overtime and shitcoins are the opposite. It's good to see that you were lucky to make such amount of profits within a short period of time. That's shitcoin for you, but their future is uncertain.

Good for you but then don't you think that the gains you got was merely because of Binance listing.
It's purely listing gains and not something that adds fundamental value to the coin.
The title does make sense though. Early investments gives us an edge for making massive gains.
But its not that every coin will give us such returns and we have to do the research and analyse the potential of such projects.

It is not only luck, but it is not only skill. There is an instinct to it. Most will just want the shortcut by jump in, get out, cash in, repeat. But you are saying there is a process. It indeed the move is quiet, almost boring. You grab a token, maybe nothing happens. Or maybe it triples, and now you have got a story that helps someone else. So, stick to early platforms, but also pay attention to who is talking and what they are not saying. Discover the patterns, listen to your own intuition, believe the gut that has been wrong before, but keeps reoccurring. The actual advantage lies in those who watch together, that learn out loud, that remind one another that it is never only one trade.

I'd rather call it as a gamble. You're lucky enough by buying C token, which was listed on Binance, then it got massive pump. The problem is that not all of tokens can be listed on binance, and you forgot this.

There's no guarantee buying token will give you a token that can perform the same like C. I've seen plenties of tokens newly listed were underperform. Even some were giving terrible result for the early investors.

Your advice is pretty much the same like telling people to gambling on the early trade of token.

You might not said that if C was not listed on binance. The possibility to be listed on Binance is very small.

You should already know the risk involved in altcoins investment, seriously I don’t really encourage anyone to invest in altcoins because of the risk involved in it, when you invest in altcoins, you can easily lose your money. You might invest in a particular coin and you will make profit, but that doesn’t mean  if you make use of a strategy and it works for you, it might not work for you when you try to use the same strategy for another coin.

I don’t think altcoin investment is having any strategy, altcoin investment is based on luck, if you are lucky, then you will be able to make some profits, but the issue is that most people are not always lucky, that’s why the best thing to do is just to stay away from altcoins if you can do that.

It doesn’t actually work this way in many circumstances but sticking to it will indeed give you a win for it one day just like how lucky you are with getting into this one at early stage. Altcoins are not 100% trustworthy because of how volatile they can be and can also be manipulated in most cases, so this method may not work for all altcoins but few that you may be lucky it.

Getting in early in any project gives more tendency of making lots of money through it if the coin eventually goes in the direction you want after investing. Several cases like this have taken place before and not all happen to be a profitable investment in them, but still will give some good amount of ratio through it before dumping. So it’s not all profitable but sticking to a method that works for you will breed you profit one day.

Very wrong. You didn't win because you were early, you won because you were lucky. Learn the difference! There are so many listings on Binance and all exchanges in the last 2 years that performed terribly, only dumping after listing and never really recovering.

This has always been my strategy too. Buy early, sell on Binance listing.. I've had like 4-7 occasions like that . I actually started mine when I noticed people use Binance as exit liquidity recently.. they're numerous popular tokens that dumped upon listing.. even C Op is falling about dropped from $0.5 to $0.3 currently.. I'll way the win rate is 70% for me..

Yes as I said in my post this is just a standard example of someone confusing lucky with strategy and skills. This happens often wherever money is involved especially in crypto. Many people consider themselves traders because they made good profit during a big bull run, but that is ridiculous. They don't know a single thing about what they are doing. Many projects have dumped on listing and those that followed this strategy all the time didn't make money.
