I would say they were lucky if the funding was actually there - microsoul was famously bad with key management.

yes, but are the right keys on the coins? that was microsouls biggest issue - getting the right keys on coins. I have heard of zero issues with any of the Lucky Coins. Five people peeled their coins and those were all fine.

But there is still a good chance the other 5 are screwed, am I wrong? So basically, the best condition of these coins would be 'peeled by a super trusted person & unredeemed'?

These were all made and funded at the same time, there were 10 silver versions and 10 gold gilded versions. One coin for each version had 2 bitcoins (both have been found) and the remaining 9 had 0.05 bitcoin on them. The last one peeled was I think in 2021 and was one of the 2 bitcoin winners. There is no reason to believe that something would be wrong with the keys or someone would have mentioned it before and half have been redeemed without any problem.

to be clear, I was not specifying any issue with these particular coins from Microsoul - just in general - there have been numerous unfunded and mismatched addresses/keys on his coins - all of this is very well documented on the forums.
And I guess with these it does not really matter if he mixed up the keys as there was no matching address per se - it was all "luck"

No interest?
Last chance if anyone is interested.
Sending the silver MS66 off to be cracked, peeled and redeemed.
Keeping the MS68 gilt silver for now.
Really would love to keep them intact and unpeeled as a set.

I would say keep both of them for another 5+ years Anyway, I might be interested in the MS66 after it has been peeled & redeemed, depending on your asking price.

I wish I could keep them sealed and unredeemed but I cannot for personal and financial reasons. As a collector it saddens me to peel a coin hat only has 5 existing copies, it's like destroying history. The MS66 coin was sent off today so if anyone is interested there is still time to save it before it is cracked and peeled. Asking 0.054BTC

Well, Mopar called it... there was no Bitcoin when I checked this afternoon Your coin was "redeemed" in 2018: https://mempool.space/address/1Dkzmi39U5sh86HRdPB93qAvckpRKA85oHI would recommend anyone with ANY Microsoul coin to just peel them.... save yourself and any potential buyers a headache down the road!!! And if I had to guess based on how the addresses line up for the Mega Delux, your other coin is empty also.... Gravitate loaded these all at once unlike the Super Delux, so we are able to see all the coins addresses.

and in looking at the transaction where therealmrbong411's coin was redeemed - it went to one address and then that address along with many others sent to another address - but in looking at all those secondary addresses - they all appear to be for collectibles .005 and .001 amounts
looks like a bunch of coins were swept - individually and sent to different addresses - and then those addresses (being in the same wallet) all sent to a primary one.
I think MS swept some coins...

I thought for sure these coins would be good because everyone else who peeled theirs in the past never had a problem with redeeming them.
Would the gold gilt version have Bitcoin on it. I think the last coin peeled was in 2021 and was the bitcoin winner so then the funds might still be on the other coin?

I am not sure - I can only guess but when your funds went to an address that then consolidated with several other wallets to send to a larger address. and all the addresses in the consolidation came from another address which was either loaded as .05 or .01 - it looks like a bunch of collectibles were peeled. If not MS sweeping then MS fucked up and put your key on another coin that some collector had who then redeemed .5 worth of bitcoin collectibles at the same time.

I was able to get my original username back so I am going to start using this one again from now on. Wanted to give an update on the other coin. I sent the other gold version coin to minerjones to peel and see if the funds were there and thankfully they were. Not sure what happened with the other coin and why the funds were not there but I don't think gravitate intentionally did anything wrong. My guess now is there are 4 unpeeled gold versions of the coins that should be ok and should be fully funded still. The silver version I would be unsure about. This link shows the addresses of the gold remaining versions. https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/transactions/btc/438a6d53bc7729d82a52df6e9e97a2e7a9d28efb6048b98c41a5551d6fb8b147Not sure there is much difference now from other Microsoul coins but the peeled versions would be for sale if anyone is interested. Thanks again to minerjones for all his help.

Back to this name for now.
Would anyone know how to get a hold of minerjones direct?
He was able to peel the two coins for me and the first one did not have any bitcoin loaded on it but the second one did.
Haven't heard from him for about 5 days so I was hoping everything was ok with him.
Thanks

maybe because he retired - might have taken a trip to some faraway remote island but then came back when lost all the Bitcoin on a boating accident.
