Introducing Canopy: Peer-to-peer security for Web3 applications.

A new path for builders who want sovereignty, scale, and seamless interoperability from day 1.

Here’s how we’re reimagining blockchain infrastructure:

Builders need a system that grows with applications.

Canopy ditches the central chain model for a self-reinforcing, autoscaling mesh - each app runs on its own chain, secured by a network that strengthens with every new participant.

Independence is powerful, but it’s hard-earned.

We started from first principles and anchored Canopy in five non-negotiables:

1. Zero censorship

2. Security from Day 1

3. No L1 complexity

4. Economic alignment

5. Native interoperability

To make that possible, we built two products:

> The Canopy Stack: Launch apps as L1s with the ease of smart contracts

> The Canopy Network: A marketplace for peer-to-peer security

Together, they power a new kind of network:
→ Recursive infrastructure
→ Permissionless interoperability
→ App-aligned economics

Builders no longer have to choose between independence and connectivity. Canopy offers both.

At the heart of it all: Nested Chains

Built with Canopy, these apps don’t just receive security, they provide it. Mature chains seed new ones, making security a shared responsibility.

This flips the status quo and lets apps grow into ecosystems without ceilings.

We’re proudly bootstrapped and community-driven. Canopy Labs is fueled by builders, not VCs. We believe in grassroots innovation, open collaboration, and sustainable growth.
