Nice work, but I havethe question. How can I download the card that's generated for my profile? I only see preview of it, and there doesn't seem to be anybutton to download the generated card.

Also, as my suggestion. It would be great to have the option to insert my own avatar into the card and display the number of relevant colored stars that reflect my rank. Would that be technically possible?

I will add a download button to in the next phase currently i am working tiredlessly to add more cool and relevant features to the tool, Although i get some little set backs because i am hosting it on a free hosting space with limited bandwidth allocation since i am not that financially buoyant to pay for the standard hosting plan. But in due time i believe i will get there or get some form of support from someone kind enough. Hold on for more features to come.

I generated my rank card and I am at 100% as expected.
My suggestion is to add randomly generated images for each profile, this is not that hard to do nowadays using some AI tools.
Another thing you can do in this cards is to show if profile is active or inactive.

Yeah this would  come in handy too mostly for rank up announcement threads like I said earlier on.
Anyways I have a little thing to report. Basically I think you took scrapes data independent of your current forum rank because based on the minimum requirement to become a legendary member, I should be one already but as the odds could have it I'm still hero on the forum but the bot says max rank reached already.

I remembered the "Magic: The Gathering (MTG)" cards when I looked at the preview. Seems a resemblance, hehe. I'm not sure how this will be done, as it's about the user's current progress; however, since it's collectibles, it would be nice if we could also generate previous rank cards too as memorabilia.

As @satscraper suggested about a download button, i have effect that on the tool. Users can now directly download the card by clicking the button at the bottom of the card preview

OP can access anyone's avatar and it's actually easy to fetch by following this URL below, since user id is given upon clicking the "Check Progress". OP can insert this URL in src attribute on the round avatar of the card.

The forum avatar might be tied to the signature campaign, and I’d prefer to have the image on the card that’s independent of that, something that I like and reflects my personality instead.

I will look into this as well, let me see how i can tweak the card to allow users to select which avatar they prefer from their own image collection. I am trying to wrap up a feature that allows users preview and download their previous rank card, as soon as i am done wit that i will jump right on this @satscraper

My reply was actually addressing zoomic's concern regarding LTU_btc's response. Your current suggestion is solid, but if you look at your earlier reply, it sounded more like inserting a default avatar rather than allowing users to upload a custom one. If both options can be supported by OP, then that's much better.

However, allowing image uploads might require the OP to implement some security measures, such as file validation, and possibly set limits on image size to avoid storage issues, which is another work.
Alternatively, allowing users to insert an avatar via a URL (like from Imgur or TalkImg) might be a simpler and more storage-friendly approach.

It already sounds a bit more complicated. But if OP is able to implement such things, I think that it would be best to use 3rd party websites to hosts these images, as you mentioned.

If someone cannot handle a neutral opinion, they should not be on a public forum. I did not criticize him, just shared my personal opinion that I would appreciate it if he could use his knowledge to make something useful. If you cannot take both positive and negative feedback about yourself, go back to your house and lock yourself inside a room. No one is going to talk to you.

It’s disappointing to see a forum staff member acting unprofessionally in a public space and calling people out simply for sharing their personal opinions. I thought the forum was meant to promote freedom of speech. But, it seems that the official staff are using the feedback system to silence others. I didn't even criticize the original poster. Mr. Mitchell chose to leave neutral feedback on my profile just because I expressed my feelings.

I’ve known Mitchell for a decade now and he’s one of the best members of this forum. He’s been staff for a very long time and he’s fair, period. Like all staff. I’ve really not met one whom I didn’t like. As for forum members , the  List goes on far in the opposite direction and you’re on it now too.

Community engagement is important here and fun things like this build a sense of community, and a keeps people wanting to come back. Clearly you’re too dimwitted to understand that..so try doing so, perhaps. Also, Theymos doenst give two fucks about you I can promise you that. Summon all you want, hope you enjoy crickets

Please point out where I said that community engagement is not important. Or, point out a criticism that can make the OP disappointed. Mitchell is clearly overreacting, and you are here to bark at me like a good dog on his behalf. If it's really too hard to understand, go and read the posts and come back again to write something. I get it that you serve Mr. Mitchell, but barking at people without knowing anything is a bad dog's behaviour, you know what I am talking about? I understand you may know theymos too well, but I don't think he pays you a penny to bark for him either.

I am not surprised at all. The moment I saw the feedback and he used Loyce Ninja archive as a reference, I knew he was going to abuse his power and delete those posts that he doesn't like. These people are cowards. They create drama, they use a feedback system to silence people, they abuse their power to delete posts, what else? It's time for theymos to think about their so-called biased staff.

theymos proudly speaks about freedom of speech while his staff are trying to silence people abusing the power given to them to moderate the forum. These people should not represent the forum. A bunch of cowards are helping each other to remove content they don't like.

OP's work is out of our league. We should refrain from telling OP what the best thing to do is in his "own league". Give feedback on the work instead, and that will be much appreciated by any developer. Kind of disrespectful that after putting time and effort into working on something, some random guys will tell you to stop that shit because of their own opinion.
