My questions are:
→How can you relate investment and business?
I think that you have already said it in your op post that investment and business are not the same, a business is an act of buying and selling that generate income for you in a weekly or monthly basis, while an investment is anything that you put your money in that appreciate in value overtime and gives you a return in the future.
That being said, you can rely on your business for survival, but you can't rely on your investment to survive because it takes years to give back a better ROI.

No, an investor makes money even when he is as sleep, while a business man must put in a lot of work physical and mentally for it to yield profit.

→Can an investor also be called a businessman?
You can invest in a company and be part of the shareholders. Some people do that and they are making money from it if the company become a successful company.

But the thing is that it is good to also have business if you have the money. It is good to diversify.

As long as the person does not involved in how the business is running or operating, the investor can not be considered a business man.

Good day, my forum members and expertise here.

My questions are:
→How can you relate investment and business?
→Can an investor also be called a businessman?

Your insights would be appreciated.

If I wan stick to your definition of business and how you use talk about investment here, e go be like say the two of them na different things simply because, we look am in a very shallow way wey be short term investment. Watin we mostly see as business today na via say, as you buy am today, you either sell am today or tomorrow or in a week or so.

Omo, the idea remains, it’s profit oriented and while the other na short term, investments na mainly long term and the returns Dey be jumbo size way go cover many days way that thing been don Dey sit don Dey wait.
Investors use long term to collect their money while, our everyday business na as e Dey hot, you use small small Dey collect am.

Both na business, watin seperate am na the terms way con be long and short.

→How can you relate investment and business?

Business and investment both work for profit but there are some fundamental differences between them. From my perspective, the process of running a business starts with a product or service.

Business:
It is very important to have specific knowledge to run a business properly. Running a business requires money as well as the physical labor and skills of many people. Business is about making a product with quality for profit and making it suitable for the use of the customer.

We invest in ownership of a company, such as shares or bonds, or (cryptocurrency) such as BITCOIN, Eth, Bnb, in the hope of higher returns in the future.

Investment:
To make an investment correctly, it is very important to have specific knowledge along with market analysis, awareness of investment risks, strategy, long-term investment planning and patience for the right time.
Therefore, investment and business cannot be the same in any way.

An investment involves buying a valuable commodity and keeping it for a longer period without selling to make better profits and the more you keep adding the the commodity you bought the more profits you stand to get in the future and it's quite different from a business.

A business involves selling of goods or rendering services to make money either daily, weekly or even monthly and just like someone in this thread @Barikui1 specified, one can survive on business, basically from the excess profits made but that can't be done in an investment, for instance if you buy Bitcoin or shares from a company you'll have to wait for a longer period to get better profits.

Good day, my forum members and expertise here.

As an experienced investor or businessperson, your knowledge would be helpful in this aspect.

When we talk about business, we refer to an enterprise that has to do with the buying and selling of goods with the aim of meeting a customer's needs and then selling to your own targeted profits.
Business also requires energy and daily activities just to interact with your customers. While investment serves as an asset or aim of future profit or returns but due to market fluctuations and volatility, investment returns go hand in hand with high risks.

My questions are:
→How can you relate investment and business?
→Can an investor also be called a businessman?

Your insights would be appreciated.
Investment & business can be related together because they have same aim or goals, which is to make profit at the end.
So the desire to make profit from both, makes them to have same target.

In addendum to your post as it speak volume, investment common example can be of those that buy shares either in Bank or company, they don't need to put in further effort as they yield keeps coming according to the percentage in which the shares is been offered, though one may see investment as twin brothers but the major difference is the man power involved in business differ from investment but two of this element narrow down to profit making most time some business can yield profit than some investment all depends on what one invested and the business one is also engaged on.

Actually, business and investment are inter-related.

A business person puts in money to buy goods despite how small or big in exchange for  returns.
Though it requires his presence  efforts and time to make it profitable.
For as long as he remained in that business year after year, the value of those goods either appreciate for greater income  with ease
 or  the value depreciate.

So also is an investor who invested in an asset.
You there not sit with a folded arms to watch.
You must be present, spending time seeking for more knowledge and constantly checking up on the investment which might with time appreciate in value for greater profits or depreciate.
