We are currently running a crypto project that is actively growing in Azerbaijan and Russia, with a real ecosystem and solid infrastructure behind it.

Now, our goal is to:
🇹🇷 Expand this system into Turkey, reach more people, and build a long-term, sustainable community.

But we also know this:

Turkey happens to be one of the wannabe-Civilisations in the Galactic Milieu.

Wannabe in that so far the player(s) working on it have not scaled up yet to the point of actually putting together a "Civilisation" in the FreeCiv scale of play.

They mainly control an intergalactic mining Corp that is still working on paying off its startup loans; once those are fully paid though the income from that Corp should be enough for them to launch a FreeCiv-scale "Civilisation.

In general for any nation on Earth that has a representation in off the shelf FreeCiv participting in the Milieu might be a very nice part of community-building...

• Most likely social media platforms that are allowed there like Tiktok.
• If you want to be introduced to the market there, I think you should do that. Inform the people there through educating them first.
• Engagement and becoming consistent.

Honestly, I really liked how creatively and humorously you summarized the situation.
The “intergalactic mining corp” analogy describes our current phase quite accurately. 😄

We haven’t yet reached the point of building a full-scale civilisation in FreeCiv terms, but we’re definitely working on laying the foundation.
Gathering resources, setting up a stable structure, and forming the right partnerships takes time—but that’s the direction we’re heading.

It would actually be fascinating to hear from others who have gone through similar “wannabe-civilisation” stages.
In your view, what are the key tipping points? When does a project cross the line from being in preparation to being “ready”?

Hopefully one day, we’ll be a true part of the Milieu and contribute a story of our own.

Yes, TikTok is definitely one of the most powerful platforms to reach younger audiences in Turkey, and we’re strongly considering putting it at the core of our outreach strategy.

Also, as you said, educating people before trying to “sell” anything is a much healthier approach.
Maybe we should focus on building trust first through simple educational content. A loyal community will follow more organically that way.

Based on your advice, here’s a rough plan we’re considering:

🔹 Start with short, educational and inspiring social media content
🔹 Then, build a small but loyal Telegram community
🔹 Eventually, organize local meetups or Zoom sessions to connect 1-on-1
