We should take profits from bitcoin because it’s the right thing to do. No one should argue with that. But once we take the profits, at least we should also ensure that we are spending the profits wisely, that it should go to the specific purpose, and not for any unnecessary expenses.
But for those who have no project to buy or sudden rise of expenses, then why should take the profits? It’s only a matter of discipline, to overcome your greed for the money you have.
We invest to have profit and improve our wealth and life so it's nothing wrong in taking profit. What we do after taking profit will be important and decide whether we continue to be Bitcoin investors or turn to Bitcoin outsiders.
We need to be clear in mind like whether we exit the market forever or only take profit and wait for chances to rejoin it in the future. If we want to take profit, use part of it while the remaining money will be used for reenter the market, we will need to have plans for how we return. We can take profit, exit the market forever or rejoin without harm on the market. In my opinion, contributing activities like buying and selling is truly helpful for the market, and it is never harmful.
There is purpose to which we make investments which is to make profit and that profit is for us to use it and solve financial needs and create wealth for ourself and if possible extends it to generation, if the investment have yield a good return there is need to take some profit
Taking profit is good as it means our wealth becomes better at the time of taking profit. We exit as sellers and the others enter as buyers, to make a market lively and to create supply and demand in a same market.
A market without sellers will be a dead one as buyers don't have any bitcoin for purchases and after waiting hopelessly for chances of buying, they will abandon and leave market eventually. This harms the market and kill demand of owning bitcoin.
