I've got such experience like it wasn't an easy encounter it's like being possessed by a demon that drain you both physically and spiritually without your notice you will always see it as fun and means of making money but deep down it is killing you and if you don't realize yourself on time to make right believe you will definitely regret it, to me I think getting addicted to gambling is not just ordinary there are somethings attached to it that's why I will always advise people to gamble responsibly or they live to regret it.

I think there's nothing spiritual about gamble addiction, everything is just your mindset, if you gamble with the intention of making money whereby you are not gambling responsibly, I'm sure that you will actually end up as an addict gambler. You're lucky that you have not been deep into it. Mine was out of pressure to settle momey I borrowed from some friends when I was robbed one time. What you said is extremely right, and I'm saying this based on experience. I've never been addicted to gambling before but it has happened to my friend before. He taught gambling was a source of income and a way of getting rich quick, When he started gambling, he started it with the mindset of becoming rich and he was willing and eager to accumulate wealth at any cost. His greediness is what motivates him to gamble, he first started with little amount of money and he was very lucky and win, he makes gambling a day to day thing, before i know it, i realised that he can't survive in gambling and he started gambling with a huge amount. His family were worried about his sudden change of behaviour and he was blind and eager to make money that he couldn't see how worried his family was neither was he listening to their advices and at the same time he was loosing in gambling. His life becomes miserable that he has to borrow money to gamble, the more he looses the more he continues to borrow money. And he finds it very difficult to pay back his debts.

As they said "Experience is the best teacher" he was sued by the creditor and he was forced to return back the money that he borrowed. That's when he realised that he will not be able to return the money through gambling, so he find some ways that he could be able to make money, and he work very hard that's when he realises that he was an irresponsible gambler and since then he decided to stop gambling.

I remember back then when I was jobless and staying at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
I was almost addicted to gambling at that time.  Luckily, I managed to pull myself back to normal by switching my daily habits to reading books and occasionally playing computer games.  I didn't want to tell anyone at that time that I was addicted, so I was the one who cured myself of the addiction.

Switching your habits to something else is the best option, you will forget about gambling.
It's all in your mind and how to control it.  Sometimes it depends on your surroundings, consider moving to a place without internet to help you forget your gambling addiction for a while.

Yes, it means that addiction is not impossible or incurable, it is not easy to cure, this also means that the process is quite difficult and complicated, and one of the reasons why addiction is not easy above is in my opinion because the disease lies in the mindset of a gambler, isn't everything that has become a habit very difficult to change? Of course, but I didn’t ask anyone to help me because I believed I could do it on my own. I just needed to be strong. It lasted for years. Until now, I’m still fighting the urge to play but at least I can control it better now compared to before, when I would just give in to my feelings and not care about anything, even if I lost all my money online. Did they provide you with some kind of specialized mental healthcare treatment or did you all managed it by yourselves, without the intervention of psychologists or medications?
I have read on the internet that in the most serious cases of gambling addiction, people need to get locked up against their will without access to casinos, cards, dices or internet until they start to recover and their cravings for dopamine start to normalize. It is a very scary situation if you keep in mind there are people out there who is addicted and do not hace relatives who care like yours did.

When i have touched up online gambling then the first thing i do remember that I was addicted on Freebitco.in Hi-Lo game wayback into those old years on which i have been able to spend up a considerable amount of money specially into those coins being used. Same goes with Crash game on Bustabit and Dice game on PrimeDice on which I can definitely say that I had lost up that amount because i have been addicted into it.
The moment that i had stopped is on the time that I dont have literally money for me to spend on doing the gambling stuff.

How did I go about it? Not admitting a gambling addition challenge only helps makes the gambler addict situation worse.
