From this perspective I think the person should continue his trend on betting the same numbers over and over again and never regret doing it no matter the final outcome that can be several years of losing and never win it. If you change and then your numbers win this is a regret that will only go away when the soul of the person will go away meaning when the person dies. It is a feeling most persons will have for life that is why I never suggest to change what you have been doing for years. In the end in gambling everything is regrettable when it comes to losing money, that is an universal feeling that no human being likes to experience.

From my own perspective and experience it's best you explore on different numbers.For me,there's no regret in gambling because from the very start, I mentally prepared myself for the uncertainty and unpredictability that comes with it,the only action I'd regret in the gambling industry is failing to gamble responsibly.In this scenario,I wouldn't regret my decision because lottery is a game of luck,not a skill-based game where strategy and knowledge determine the outcome.When playing games of luck like the lottery, I usually follow my instincts,most times our instincts are correct.

I think that always chasing the same numbers depending on the lottery would be the same as choosing another, the probability would be the same each time you change or keep your number, it is not as if for each draw you have more chance, simply for each draw the game restarts, which makes you depend on luck 100% of the time, although there is a rule that the probability of, for example, hitting 1 triple is 1/1000, but this does not mean that if you have 1000 attempts you will win at least once, since the probability of hitting will still be 1/1000.

Betting on specific set of numbers and not winning is the worst experience ever in gambling because there are times when you will feel like trying different numbers which you might even figure out in your instincts but due to the fact that you want to maintain a pattern of retrying same numbers with the mentality that you gonna end up hitting the lottery someday will make you to lose chances of having a possibility to win. Am saying this from experience actually because i once got that idea of repeating same numbers every time i stake a bet but it wasn't funny because i lost a lot of money so it's not advisable to continue with a sequence for a long time, it is also good to try something different even if your previous selected numbers finally wins but it shouldn't bother you but sticking to same numbers only get you trapped.

It's hard to bet on a single option consistently without benefitting from it or winning even once. But it's going to be more regrettable when you change up the system you bet on only for it to work later on, this would make you to reminisce and regret not sticking to your old system. To start, lottery is a specific gambling game, and keeping the same numbers is a very common "strategy" for a lot of people. Because it's fully dependent on luck, no matter what changes you make. I can't find anything to regret since it's your choice. After all, changing numbers doesn't necessarily mean that you will win. You can change them and in the draw, to see that the numbers you've been playing for so long are the winning ones. Then what? For sure, you will regret that you decided to change them!

Basically I think that we should try as much as possible to eliminate a gambling plan that is not going as planned because winnings are by luck. If you know the strategy that will give you a win I don't think that you will be considering any other winning strategy. You can decide to research, analyze or choose randomly, you should just accept whatever outcome that you get, if you don't get lucky today another day might bring you luck.

This is all about strategy, and before you can decide on a particular one, you must be rest assured that there is high probability of it coming to be one day, while on this case, its not perfect enough for us to keep repeating on a number sequence we are not even sure about if they can come in one day or not, this sounds insane to me, when we could have tried other opportunities, being limited to a particular number does not increase for a chance of winning, instead it decreases on it, but some will think its all about being consistent or something related to make them win one day, but literally, its nothing of such.

I consider both options regrettable and would not wish for either. Because in both cases the prize will be "0". Whatever, "0" is always equal to "0" and there can be no choice here. The result is the same.

I certainly would not prefer to bet on one number in the lottery for the rest of my life, because it would be extremely boring. And the chances of winning, I suppose, are very low.

It seems to me (an opinion based on a hunch, but not on mathematical calculations), there could be more chances if the numbers were changed every time. Or, it would affect the feeling of the possibility of winning.

I think it's more regrettable when you change a pattern just because it's not working only to find out that it became profitable after switching to another one. You'd start regretting instantly and beat up yourself for not sticking to the strategy or pattern you had in mind. Gambling for a long time following the same pattern is really boring. I would never like to bore myself. My aim is to keep myself entertained by betting on multiple things that will entertain me. Whether I win or lose is not the main thing. Even when you are not getting the same results in the same place, it is better for you to give it up and try something else. The same thing happens in gambling. It is better to bet on different games or different sports than to play the same game or bet on the same game repeatedly and lose. Winning in gambling or betting is luck, it does not depend on any strategy.

Winning the lottery is hard enough. I don't think it matters whether you bet the same number of times or change it. Losing certainly makes gamblers regret it.
I don't know what motivates gamblers to bet on the same prediction over a long time. They might be testing their luck at predicting.
