Look like OP now solved the issue since someone (hopefully him) recently sent a transaction that spent that ‎0.05740075 BTC output.
A few hours before this reply.

Note to others: It couldn't been a wrong/replaced address since LBC already setup a counter against it by requiring the signature of a signed message (LBC username) with the address he intended to receive his bitcoins.
In an event of a clipboard hijacking malware, he wont be able to sign a message with it or the message's signature wont match the replaced copied address, thus the withdrawal wont proceed.

This was the address I used to transfer the partial coin to: bc1q4kuz47hvm2cycmsfpy70qay282kzxfnua48ada
I then transferred the partial coin and ended up with $101 USD.
The way you used the term "partial coin" was vague, perhaps, you mean: a normal transaction that doesn't send the entire amount.
And the address doesn't have any transaction history.

What I can deduce from that (and from your replies) is: you may have saved it as a "local transaction" in Electrum that limited the spendable balance down to its change ($101) until you removed it from your transaction history.
That is considering you're using the legit client.

So I guess I just got scammed. I had remembered I hade a little of bitcoin held at localbitcoins.com I hade .057 that i bought in 2016 it was basically like $6990 they told me to remove it I had to open a wallet with Electurm so I did. I then transferred the partial coin and ended up with $101 USD.

Here is the transaction ID: 4c3e920e62b2fd4a2f7abcb337652d1c1e5c9082cfc3316ba7fbcb36bcc483df

How does this happen. What could I have done wrong when I followed all their directions?

I am assuming there is nothing I can do about this correct?

In situations like this when you are being redirected all you would have done was to test the process by sending little amount first to check if you changes are real because their are scammers everywhere, after your first test run and its been confirmed that your coins are saved, you are free to access it, then you can quietly make all the transfer or still bit by bit,, if you are still confused, that is why we are asked to properly check websites or links being sent to us before transferring our coins to it for things like this not to occur, the security of our Bitcoin is very important to us not scammers.

LocalBitcoins.com shut down in February 2023 so any current messages from them are fake. So your 0.057 BTC scammers took nearly all of it leaving you with only $101. This type of scam mostly tricks people into using fake sites or downloading bad software. Unfortunately, recovering stolen cryptocurrency is very hard because blockchain transactions are permanent and scammers are usually untraceable. You can report it to police or cybercrime units if crypto is fully regulated in you are but be very careful of recovery scams that promise to get your money back for fee as they are usually new scams. This is painful lesson and sorry for your loss so next time be careful.

Yeah, the transaction has 640 confirmations at the moment, and that's pretty much final. Sorry for your loss, OP.

One possibility is because maybe the directions were from scammers themselves? could you still pull up where you got the conversation?— upload the screenshot in https://www.talkimg.com/
Nowadays people got scammed for their ignorant or lack of consultations from elites, ones a little opportunities are offered to them you see them becoming that thrilled and wouldn't want to involved any other person. Most at the time scammer would warned them not to involved any other third party till the transaction is being performed, I could remembered back then when I got scammed and immediately I got scammed my eyes opened and since from then I don't give any fucking attention to anyone on media, beit social or forum I am always mindful with whatever I am doing.

This was the address I used to transfer the partial coin to: bc1q4kuz47hvm2cycmsfpy70qay282kzxfnua48ada
If you mean that above address was your intended target withdrawal address to receive 0.05740075BTC, that's simply not the case. Where did you get this (so far empty) address from and why do you think your withdrawal from LocalBitcoins should have been transfered to this address?

I've no idea why you record a static video when a simple screenshot would suffice, but anyway
Here is video of the wallet now it 57 mBTC and somehow someone else got 23030 mBTC : https://app.screencast.com/YLFTEoojOO0DW
The address with green color is highlighted by your Electrum wallet because it belongs to your wallet as a receive address and this is where the 57.40075mBTC went to.

And as someone else, I think, already said, the 23.xBTC likely aren't yours, are they? You don't seem to understand how Bitcoin transactions work (pardon me, if I'm wrong). The transaction 4c3e920e...bcc483df is a batch withdrawal issued by LocalBitcoins from their wallet likely serving multiple customers and the output of 23.03034256BTC to address bc1q7rfu5ag4y07f0tlead599hsrea9fhutdk7p2vr is LocalBitcoin's own wallet's change address.

It's still not clear to me if and where here any scam is. But this judgement depends on how much coins you had at LocalBitcoins and if further spending from withdrawal target address bc1qkxj7nrgqfevrznfg2huu85p08kdt344qc7qq5d was all done by yourself.

After you installed Electrum (apparently downloaded from genuine site electrum.org), did you create your Electrum wallet yourself or did someone give you mnemonic recovery words for your wallet (the latter would be part of a scam)?

How much did you expect from LocalBitcoins? How much did you request to withdraw?
That was clearly stated in the OP, except you didn't read it 🧐.

A few hours before this reply.
Yeah, I saw that this wallet address bc1qkxj7nrgqfevrznfg2huu85p08kdt344qc7qq5d received the remaining funds on 2025-07-27 20:59:31. I guess it was OP who did it because this thread was opened on July 23rd. That's four days earlier. The funds couldn't have been sent on 27th if there wasn't an action on it after 23rd. Perhaps, OP found their way to do it rightly. But it will be a show of gratitude for OP to update this thread with what finally happened.

LocalBitcoins.com shut down in February 2023 so any current messages from them are fake. So your 0.057 BTC scammers took nearly all of it leaving you with only $101.
Yeah, they did close down that year but also announced they were going to open on July 1st to allow withdrawals. Read what @Alone055 posted 👇

Stop playing dumb. I read the original post, and unlike you, I bothered to read the entire damn thread. Thats how I was able to provide actual useful information that presumably cleared up his confusion, which is more than you can say.  If my post went over your head, just say so. Ill dumb it down. But drop the act; I know youre not an idiot.

Your cusses don't bother me. If that makes you happy, so be it. You actually quoted the post where OP said how much they got transferred to their wallet and what they expected that didn't fall through. It was right there. How that escaped you is what I can't figure out.

Reading isn't comprehension. I don't know your level of comprehension and I'm not judging you for that. Instead of cussing out, you can be calm and assimilate what's said. Here's that part again... In case you missed OP's first post. This should aid you 👇. Be humble.

No I did not have a balance before. I dont think I could have entered the wallet address wrong I cut and pasted it.

Here is video of the wallet now it 57 mBTC and somehow someone else got 23030 mBTC : https://app.screencast.com/YLFTEoojOO0DW

This video shows all transaction outputs.  Only one output, 57 mBTC, goes to your Electrum address. The other outputs are unrelated withdrawals, likely batched by the sender.  23 BTC you mention went to their change address. This is normal; there is nothing to worry about.

How much did you expect from LocalBitcoins? How much did you request to withdraw?

I really hope to stay clear of having to click that link, it says “screencast.com” and it would be much too bad should it turn out that my screen is being accessed by someone, some place else.

Either way, I did a review on the site localbitcoins.com on WHOIS and the site has been in existence since 2012, was recently update on the 6th of May, 2025 which would expire on the 5th of June 2026. Also checked them on trustpilot and they have a good review ratings. Should you have followed the instructions from the support and did transfer your coins, you should be good. Perhaps you can relate to support on how to verify or locate your transaction on the site.

However, support shouldn’t generate an address for you in course of your transaction, it’s what you should have done yourself. Hope that’s the route how to withdraw followed because, I’m just not up for clicking the links provided in the OP.

Yes the site the partial coin was in is, which is now closing down is: https://localbitcoins.com/

The site they gave me with the instructions to withdraw was: https://localbitcoins.com/guides/how-to-withdraw
ahhhh
I knew there was something wrong when you said they gave a guide.
You downloaded the wrong electrum
It was a phishing scam
Code:
https://electrum.org/#download
The above is theirs
Nope this is the URL when you have clicked on the download menu, it isn't theirs and the whole coins were sent to the address, I feel OP had his wallet compromised or something

Quote
Below is the official website
https://electrum.org/
This is the homepage, so everything looks clean and pretty straightforward.

Quote
So sorry for your loss
Localbitcoin shutdown 2023, I thought everybody would have withdrawn their funds by now.
This loss is not from localbitcoins.com as OP paints it, they sent the coin to the address he provided, I feel OP had his wallet compromised in one way or the other and funds were removed from the wallet. If OP still has any need for the remaining funds in the wallet, he should move it out of the wallet before it is gone too.
