I am doing some research about gambling stats in different countries around the world, and I need your help.

I was looking to find percentage of people that gamble in each country, but I found various conflicting information.
This can include offline and online gambling, and I would like to see separate stats with countries that are on top for gambling with Bitcoin.
United States have most casinos in the world, but I was surprised to see list of other countries.

if you are making research, only focus on one category or else you will not find proper data and your conclusion will be all over the place for example you can't combine offline and online casinos as surely those will have different numbers so if just choose one from the two

In getting the accurate stats of the countries that leads in gambling may be difficult in some cases , bit I noticed some person's saying the African countries are having the highest rate of gambling precisely Nigeria. But my question is how possible can that be when we have the head of gambling activities to be las Vegas which is under the united States, so therefore I believe las Vegas is leading the way with large addiction mass basically comprises of both online and offline users.

It's quite questionable because I know very well there are other countries leading when ut comes to gambling activities.. Nigeria barly has such many casino to rank it the highest. We have more of the betting shops scattered all over the country and alot of people prefer those betting shops in a way that they aren't much enlightened to online casino platforms... I guess if a stat is done on that regards as well, it may turn out to be just the youths who engage in gambling the most...

I don't really know how you think to have accurate information would be that easier because to me most of the information that are being share online are roughly wrong estimation which they just pick random data to present online. Like I know, online casino are actually making waves especially lot people needs privacy and they wouldn't want to be that disturbed over their gambling activities that is why some people gambles of online without them going to the physical casinos for the to be observed and I must also say that most of the rich men we know doesn't go to a gambling hall or casino to make and place their bets, what they does is to gamble online and remain anonymous without anyone knowing about their involvements in gambling or to whatever activities people may see them as irresponsible persons.

I was surprised to see that they have a lot of casinos? More than the Macau itself? So no wonder there are a lot of problems right now in the country as the proliferation of land base casinos and offline casinos are rampant.

I'm also surprised that Nigeria is the least among all of them with the way a lot of things are happening with a lot of Nigerians, cases of suicide, theft and other insane things as a result of gambling addiction...Well, maybe there are things that are going on as a result of gambling addiction in other countries we are not aware of as a result of  gambling addiction that's why they are topping the charts.

What is their to be surprised, as long as you live people do these things you will feel, gambling in your society is higher but trust me there are other countries that gamble the most. The way it works is, some countries have the highest number of gamblers, while some countries have the highest number of irresponsible gamblers that make gambling look bad in the society.

I don't have any links or statistics, but if we're talking about countries with the highest gambling rates in the world (not the number of gamblers), I think Las Vegas in the United States still leads the world in terms of gambling.

However, I would also mention Macau in China as the city or district with the highest gambling rate in the world and its closest competitor to Las Vegas in the United States.

I agree, these cities are famous for it's capital for gambling. No doubts. Macau is the Las Vegas of Asia. I have some friends working in Macau, and they said it's really full of casinos and the gambling rate is extremely high.
But for me, these cities are also helping the country to generate more revenue.

In my country, online gambling alone is a multi-billion industry.^[1] That's only limited to platforms that are duly registered. The rest of the platforms like the ones promoted here on the forum and outside aren't even included. That's probably billions as well.

I recently discovered that Australia is one of the most gambling countries in the world. Salaries have become huge - This is approximately $ 2,700 per month as of 2022 and about 80% of the population plays slot games there constantly.

In my state the fastest growing business and I mean people are rushing in is setting up gambling houses, this is not your American extravagance casino shop, this can be large or small but sure attracts customers.
Churches used to be the leading building in my state but now there is more gambling houses than churches and every one of those gambling houses is usually filled.
How ever this stats is taking they are doing it wrongly. Nigeria is having a gambling outbreak and the problem I see is that kids are now gambling I will write on this underage gambling soon. But in Africa I don’t think any country can top Nigeria.

Here are some information am able to gather after going through a search on the most gambling countries in Africa, am surprised at what i saw, to my greatest surprise, Nigeria being the least among other countries in Africa being listed, when i thought in terms of population and the likes should be the lead, many other underdeveloped countries and having more severe economy problem to have made their citizen found gambling as an alternative to livelihood, because i expected that Nigeria should still leading, which means, in Africa, We are far more better in many aspect.

looking at the chart I have seen that one thing that is contributing to this high rate of gambling is the bad shape of the economies of these countries so people has seen gambling as a way out of their financial problems

Few months ago it came to my awareness that they gamble in Canada because I thought that the citizens are not really the gambling type but that could be a misinformation. It would be hard to achieve accurate offline gambling statistics since there's literally little or no database to reference upon, unless those offering them are willing to share local data and it's going to cost you good money to access them from the right local sources.

In my country, lots of younger ones, from 14 to 20 ( I don't really see much old people currently) patronize the physical casinos more since they come there to hang out with their friends and while away time.

Most of them stay there for a greater part of the day and only take occasional breaks to eat or visit the restroom. The game providers cannot advise them since they bring so much money to them vendors.

You will never find hard data for the entire world since most countries don't even care about that, you can start picking up country by country.

What I was looking is to find clear comparison information without bunch of additional crap.

I found interesting information with BraveAI saying that all gambling in mainland China is illegal, but they are still one of the top three countries with most gamblers in the world.
United States and Japan are on top with China.

It's a huge percentage if it's really true. Since stablecoins was introduced and been adopted by gambling platforms, I stopped using bitcoin on my gambling activities. Seeing my bets in form of decimal satoshis is very confusing to me as well as calculating the profit and loss I get.

This just means bitcoin will always be the top choice by people who use crypto. Even if it's possible to gamble with other cryptocurrencies like xrp or doge which has cheaper fees, gamblers will still prefer to gamble using bitcoin.

I am rather skeptical on that percentage, to be honest. I would have assumed most transactions being carried out today had more to do with exchanges deposits and withdrawals, but I assume whatever the source is, they assume those withdrawals are (or not) going out or in from a casino. Also, I am with you on this one, common sense tells me most of people woutl have switched to Stablecoins once they had access to them and the use of Bitcoin as a way to transfer value onto casinos would have been reduced through time. Either they have access to privileged information from major casinos like Stake, BC game and others, or they are taking samples for their study and extrapolating, giving an over-estimated result on the use of Bitcoin for gambling.

Whatever the case may be, there is no doubt Bitcoin will continue to be the kind of cryptocurrencies, regardless we are talking about volume of casinos or not, it will continue to sit on the top of the list of coins by market capitalization.
