To my thoughts on this, e dey very simple. Until them use some some of these road safety officials set example, others no go learn. I understand say nah since 2020, during the lockdown wey this gbese happen and because the FRSC know say nothing dey to use tie this Dr Emmanuel Shebbs down, them begin to falsify allegations all because them wan get small tip. E bad say nah the people wey suppose dey protect us nai dey put us through this issues but e good as the Court of Appeal rule in the man favor, now small matter wey person for no know about, e don escalate to the point where FRSC go pay #10m in damages to this man for illegal seizure of him vehicles and particulars.
 Nah true thing wey you talk but I go like clear you for something. Some people know their fundamental human rights but for this country, if you no get better connections, nah to just give them the money to avoid wahala because e get as e go be, if beta money no dey hand, how you wan handle a court case? So I just believe say, like you talk, e good to know your rights but at the same time, these agencies suppose collect strict warning to no dey use their position dey bully citizens.

Federal Road safety corps are specialty in harassing innocent Nigerians on the road. If you failed to comply with them by not offering them tips,their will fault you in different angles and also impound your car straight to their offices. This officers are only interested in the tips that they will get from the driver not minding wether his/her car documents and driving license are completely certified or not,just offer them a bribe of N500 and you're good to go. Also I hope this judgement is applicable to all government arm security agencies particular the Nigeria police because Dem own too much for road. According to this judgement it's now clear that the FRSC "do not have the legal right to seize a citizen’s driver’s licence, vehicle, or documents without due court process."
This judgement passed by the law court will saved a lot Nigerians from future harassment from this scandalous officers.

This is not a matter of knowing your right or not knowing your right. It's only easy for the said Dr in question because he's rich and can follow up the court process to the latter without being bullied by the FIRS as an institution. As an ordinary person, even when you know your right and it's being bridged on a broad day light, trying to speak up might even implicate you the more. This is the reason why even though we know our rights, we just choose to pretend as though we don't know it just to let peace reign.

Out of every hundred persons that stands up to defend themselves in what looks like a show that they know there right, 80% of them that are not financially strong enough to follow up the process gets into bigger problem. If you have the means of fighting for your right, it's not bad to do so but if you know you can't fight well based on the resources you have, just respect yourself and play safe. Nija in reality is far from what's in theory or what knowing your right can stand to protect you.

This na exactly wetin we dey suffer for naija. You fit know your right but them go still intimidate you and nothing you go do and even people wey suppose help you protect the right go dey against you. The truth be say the man wey FRSC been wan extort get level na why him finally succeed for this case. A lot of innocent citizens dey prison and some done even die because them dey try to fight for their right. The country is not civil so think twice and know when to fight for your right and when to act like a fool so that you no go dey get problem. Court case now as wey dey see am na about who get money pass. The person wey ready to pay the highest bribe or wey dey highly connected na him go always win case so as a common person wey no get to spend thread with caution to live at peace.

I don get encounter with Police men wey dem tell me say Oga look around you, you see anybody wey go save you here? If you stress us we go just kpai you here, push you enter that valley and nobody go know say anything happen to you.
