If anyone is interested in a book about investment and Money management then you should go for rich dad poor dad...But personally, I don't think that reading such books can really make anyone successful...These authors talk about ways to be successful but they make money through the books they sell... don't get me wrong though, it's good to read but don't rely too much and play by what's on the books

The richest man in babylon is one of the best books out there. You're not good at handling money? read it and it will teach you a lot, basically.

While he's a good mentor based on the books that he has sold and it makes sense. People nowadays can speak of others experiences based on how they tell the story.
If he's able to make money through his book, the rich dad poor dad. The others can also make money from the lessons they'll read from that book.

Funny enough good books that clarifies readers about this subject doesn't have a title relating to finance, rich, investment, and all of that. You could learn the best financial advise towards the ending of a romantic story, or even a psychological book. However, the Origin of wealth is a book I could recommend, but it's complex and focuses more on economics.

I've read authors that promised being wealthy after going through their work, like Brian Tracy author of 'no excuses, Tom Hopkins, the author of Mastering the art of selling, these two are nice books, but not as satisfying as  the Origin of wealth. The book unviels the raw truth of economics, what works, invisible hands, greed, laws of thermodynamics etc.

In this book, 'Eric D Bein Hocker' simplified the factors that connects to the real world and makes changes in any market.

I've never read any book about money, investment, or economics and I'd like to get these books you recommended but getting a book to read is so damn expensive, I once walked into a book shop to get a few books but the prices discouraged me. From the comments of other forum users I can see that "the richest man in Babylon" is a must read and I will definitely get it for myself, I've read "rich dad, poor Dad" and it is also a good book for anyone that wants to be intelligent financially and intellectually.

Honestly I haven't come across this two books you've mentioned but that not withstanding I'll sure give a try in reading them. Though I've read some books that I may not be conversant with the author's but they sure are amazing books relating to  money and investment, likes of "rich dad poor dad" this is absolutely a prominent book here in this forum with much to learn, then likes of "think and grow rich".

one of the best books I've read is the riches man in Babylon which you have stated above. and the best part of this book is the part that says that 'to every money you save is a slave' meaning that as you cultivate the habit of saving the more you have more chances of acquiring more wealth, because some opportunity will come to your door step in a platter of gold. it also talked about your money working for you and not you working for money.

I haven't read the first book mentioned, but I've read the second. I don't like books on finance in general. I only read the one by Clason because I once ran out of books to read and it was there on the bookshelf. It wasn't mine.

As far as my recollection is concerned, it wasn't a bad book, but it wasn't that amazing either. I remember I initially agreed with the advice to own a house, but I later on realized one may entirely do away with it and not commit a mistake.

Anyway, as I've said, I don't like books on finance. The most successful businessmen I know in real life aren't made such by pieces of advice taken from books.

I'm reading this book now although it may be a little late but it can't be denied that this book is pretty good to read because it doesn't just talk about money but also discusses behavior, emotions and of course the perspective to make a decision so I think this is still a pretty good recommendation.

In fact there are still quite a lot of books that are good enough to support if we really want to be serious and of course literate but indeed for this age actually looking for references with literacy is quite minimal and not a few people even sometimes consider that this is not important.
Whereas this is precisely with this literacy we can become a person who can only get better not only about discipline problems but this will also add a lot of insight in references that will be useful for our continued survival when in life. Now references are very much because physical books or even ebooks are very easy to access but the problem is sometimes with literacy itself.

Even in your high school? weren't there some libraries in your country where you can access books for free and most of them I think are into economics because it's also part of some subjects that we have studied before. It's just sad that the prices of the books that you'd like to read are expensive, books should be cheaper and accessible to everyone.

If you talk about the Bitcoin investment book, of course I am not tired of repeating it to read the essays of Chris Burniske and Jack Tatar, entitled "Innovative Investor Guide for Bitcoin".

The contents explain some views about investing, analyzing and managing crypto assets, meaning that exceeding the discussion of bitcoin, also writes about the market, The book also teaches us to understand the value of crypto assets and also understand the economic implications of the way that we can also understand and make investment decisions in bitcoin.

I've read the 80:20 principle and it makes his sense how we should focus 80% of our time on the little things that matters and things that would give us great success. The more we focus on little productive things, the more our chances on success instead of focusing out energies on a lot of random things without clear objectives and productivity.

The second one I live do much is Think and grow rich, it teaches the fundamental principles that harnesses the power of our mind, bringing things we desire into life.

I would say Rich dad, Poor dad by Robert Kiyosaki, it is a good read and one of my best finance books. However, there is a thing with finance books, some of the theories may not be practical in the time and age you are reading it, so it might just sound more motivational than an actual strategy. So what i recommend to people is that you don't have to apply every strategy you read in a finance book, pick out the practical points, things that can actually work and implement them.

Though I think this isn't directly related to money, investing or economics, every time I see post asking for book recommendations I always suggest Atomic Habits by James Clear.
It's not finance book but it teaches about building good habits like you just need to be consistent, breaking bad ones and improving 1% every day which is essential for longterm success in investing and managing money.
I've already read this one, but here I am still broke as f. I did learn from it, but I'm just too lazy to actually follow its advice. lol

For me, it's the "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. It's the first book I've read about money and investing. It told me that I don't need to earn huge in order to become rich but instead I should be wise where or how to spend my money.

It's a good book to read as a starter since the words used are not deep amd the story between two fathers is engaging that will get you hooked to read it continuously.

I understand how it is like finding oneself not interested that much in investment books. It comes naturally to us given that we are human beings and sometimes we find the world to be too technical or boring. However, there is one thing which I have learnt recently, and it is the fact that, we cannot just afford to have worse mentality regarding money otherwise other people will tell us what to do with it.

 Psychology of Money or any other book of the kind does not only present us with figures or graphs, it makes us learn something relevant to our everyday practice something about habits and ways of thinking that actually matter. We need to read them not all once, even several pages are going to make us think twice. We do not want an instant solution, what we need to have is control of building so that we are not controlled. So even though you have not opened that page you have purchased a great step by placing it in your basket.

I already own the translated version of "The Psychology of Money," but I certainly need a sense of calm when reading this book. The author's perspective, directly immersed in each event he witnessed, provides valuable insights. It chronicles how the economy works from period to period, but unfortunately one reading isn't enough to fully grasp the book.

As for the second book you recommended, "The Richest Man in Babylon," I might be interested in purchasing the translated version if it becomes available.

2 decades back I was also addicted to books with my favorite subjects were finances, money and trading but suddenly due to engagement with this computer I lost this hobby nearly 15 years I never read any book just checking sites on computer and doing stuff.
My last books were The Essays of Warren Buffett and Rich Dad and Poor Dad now its long time I never have any book or newspaper which is astounding me because life change and interest also changes which are now completely depended on this computer.
Reading books were much better thing in past because with this have good time to go through and enjoy life, but now it's all ended just room and computer surfing which is giving new headaches every day but new technology and other stuff which are another level enjoyment.
