Despite dropping their first point, Samsunspor still held on to top spot in the Conference League.
They fell 1-0 behind against Breidablik, but Mouandilmadji equalized 1-1. Samsun took a 1-2 lead in the second half. Mouandilmadji scored again.
This time, Breidablik made it 2-2.

Omarsson's assist for Breidablik's first goal was excellent. I will credit him directly for the goal. He was among the players I liked on the Breidablik team. On the other hand, Marius put in a fantastic performance for Samsunspor. He scored three goals, one of which was disallowed for offside, and another shot hit the post. He could be the best striker in the Conference League and may find himself on the transfer radar at the end of the season...

I like Samsunspor, they play well and they’re getting the results they deserve.
Yesterday they created scoring opportunities again, but as you said, they were denied by the post.

I hope Samsunspor can sell Marius for a very good price at the end of the year, because the Conference League is a place where smaller teams can showcase themselves and their players.
If they can go even further in this competition, Samsunspor will be able to sell their players for much better prices.

I really like the work Samsunspor have been doing in the Conference League. They aren't an experienced team around here but still doing great. I think they will finish this stage in top 8. Beating AEK home should be enough for it I think.

Sorry about your loss. Crystal Palace wasted so much chance yesterday night. Many people thought that would be an easy game for Palace forgetting that Strasbourg is also a decent strong team. They're probably the the toughest opponent Palace face in this stage. Palace still played a decent game in my opinion and they could have won easily if not for the chance missed. You can not missed that many opportunities and expect to win especially when you're playing as the visitor. Now Palace need to win the last two games to stay in the European competition. Palace will take on Manchester United on weekend, correction can be made perhaps.

I agree. Strasbourg and Crystal Palace both played really well. We shouldn't forget that the English side had 2 shots hitting woodwork too. It wasn't their luckiest day.

This pushes them down to the 18th position with only 6 points. It is a bad start in 4 matches and only 2 left. Those are against Shelbourne and KuPS so I guess Crystal Palace would win both of them to secure themselves.

Luckily all teams with 3 victories in the ranking lost points in this fourth round and Samsunspor continues to be the first in Conference League.

Fiorentina is in a miserable shape this season and they are threatened by relegation in Serie A. This team was supposed to be a contender for the title of Conference League before it showed this poor performance unfortunately.

Most clubs that played home this week all under performed but because their are playing home, they where at advantage if not playing 2:2 draw with Samsunpor at home is not a good one for a club that list few of their matches before this one.
AEK on the other hand were all out to win the match that is the reason why fiorentina could not give them tough time to beat in the match abd bow their have succeeded in adding more points.

After Matchweek 4, the favorites began to change. The play-off picture is slowly taking shape. Teams will now play their last 2 matches to determine their final positions. Teams aiming to win the cup will try to climb higher in the standings and secure home advantage. For some teams however this doesn't make much difference.
For example Crystal Palace, the tournament's biggest favorite, isn't pushing too hard right now. They may approach the knock-out stages with a different level of motivation. Winning the Conference League also grants direct entry into the Europa League. To secure this without relying on their Premier League standings, they may place greater emphasis on this cup as the tournament progresses.

AZ Alkmaar managed to defeat Shelbourne at home. Shelbourne couldn't do much against AZ Alkmaar. Shelbourne still has no wins in the conference league. AZ Alkmaar, on the other hand, secured its second win and raised its points to 6.
Lech Poznan managed to win at home against Lausanne. Lausanne thus suffered its first defeat. Lech Poznan managed to win in the second half despite playing poorly against its opponent, in my opinion.

Samsunspor really conceded a couple of really easy goals. They actually played well enough to deserve the win.
but at least they didn’t lose and managed to stay on top. Now they have a harder schedule actually. they will face their two hardest opponents in the schedule. Mainz and AEK.

Can’t believe that Samsunspor didn’t win in Iceland against Breidablik. Really lost a lot of money on this single. I know that this point was enough to secure the play-off, but a team like them struggling against almost amateurs was a bad foresight from me.

Also, my Rijeka didn’t manage to win against AEK Larnaca, and they were a tough nut to crack in that game. Rijeka dominated, but the opponents’ keeper was simply unbeatable. Now we have to win at least 3 points in the last two games and hope to secure the play-offs.

Can’t believe that Samsunspor didn’t win in Iceland against Breidablik. Really lost a lot of money on this single. I know that this point was enough to secure the play-off, but a team like them struggling against almost amateurs was a bad foresight from me.

Crystal Palace finished the first half 1–0 ahead but ended up losing 2–1 to RC Strasbourg.
To be honest, RC Strasbourg had more possession and were the team that deserved the win anyway.

Samsunspor lost to AEK tonight and lost the top spot in the UEFA Conference League. Samsunspor, like Galatasaray, started getting bad results in European cup matches after gaining good momentum. I think these two teams may have the same problem. I mean, this situation should be studied by professionals.
