Is a safe place to purchase cryptominerbros ?

Can you let me know your experiences as it is always alot of money!

How do you go about getting your hardware back from the hosting company when you want to sell them and upgrade etc?

well he has mined for years and has been on YouTube a long time more as a miner.

Long term existence has meaning to me.

He was a fresh startup as a host last year. he was will to take from anyone as little as 1 miner.

I had 4 t21 miners sitting idol due to my 4 man partnership dying.
and I had 1 L7 running at high power cost earning very little.

So I had 5 pieces of gear that were worth running. He was willing to take them and not force me to buy overpriced gear from him.

So I sent the 4 t21's to him and the 1 L7 to him. the buying was pretty much just the shipping and $250 to set up.

I was busy most of last year selling 150 gpus and older miners on eBay . I had no time to deal with running a mine. As I was liquidating the older one.

So I grabbed 1 s21xp in Oct-Nov and more slowly.

And got to 4 21xp's and 4 t21's

I then told the guy I will add another s21xp and that that box use it to ship me one of the t21's

Did this four times

so I now have 8 s21xp's and 1 L7

and I funded everything with the gpu and other gear eBay sales.

Still pushing out the remains of the gear on eBay.

I no longer have the labor time running a mine.

the mine was a 200 kilometer run trip 3-5 times a month.

the host is zero trips.

I fully own the gear. power footprint 25kwatts

I four way owned the old mine. power foot print 250kwatts.

Trying to figure out roi is not possible for me. due to eBay sales and dividing among the four of us.

but this is better for me as long as my host remains honest.

8 s21xps are worth 8 x 6,000=48,000 maybe 50,000 and 1 L7 is worth 2,500

so the host holds 52,500 of my gear.

it earns 4,200 usd
it burns 2,100 usd a month

so I net 2,100 usd a month

also for now

Yes from your explanation that all very much makes sense, still in my own head its a lot of trust to get my head around someone else holding so much of my own hardware but i know that i am peanuts in the grand scheme of what they are doing

I’d be cautious here. If someone is offering hosted miners, they should be transparent about location, electricity costs, ownership terms, and exit options. For newbies, jumping into hosted mining without understanding those risks can end badly

You are right, imo you can buy Bitcoin directly and stack it without spending money on hosted miner, lol. It is more profitable.

And if you could have posted the details of the miner model, hashrate, power cost and hosting fee then it would have been easier to understand whether your proposal is working or not

Actually  mining gear and hosting deals seem tempting  but in reality  those who join it understand how risky and wasteful they are. With the constant fluctuations in electricity prices, maintenance fees  and on the other hand  the difficulty of the hash rate increases, I do not think there is anything left to call profit after covering all the costs

right sometimes wrong sometimes.

depends on when you buy btc or depends on when you begin mining.

Either way can make money either way can lose money.

If you bought btc this year at 74 k the low you are at 88k right now winner

if you bought btc this year at 126k the high you are at 88k right now a loser.

If you purchase a miner with a cc on oct 10 the high for btc you paid about 6000 if you host at Iowa mining for 250 a month

you got back about 718 usd worth of btc and paid about 500 in power so net of 218 and still turning profit.  If you used a cc with 21 months free credit no interest you still have more than 19 months to pay the gear off .
