BC.GAME Fake accusation and suspicouis behavior

BC.GAME looked like reputable casino to me, so I contacted them and asked if they are interested in sponsoring one of community competitions.

In return they accused me for suspicious activity and claimed I didn't answer any of their their questions, and they blocked me from sending them any more messages.

I was shocked after reading their message since I already worked with several casinos in the past.

It is not in my nature to reveal personal messages, but I am willing to do this if someone has doubt about this.



I sent 2 message in total to BC.GAME.

Unless there is more to this than what you posted else, it would have been a simple:
 "Hey BC.Game, can you sponsor this event?"

And in response they simply say:
 "Thank you, Notblox1, for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, we can not sponsor such event for now".

I don't see how this simple convo would lead to a reputation issue.

I assume more than one employee has access to their official forum account. In this case, probably one of them opened their inbox, read it, and forgot or probably deleted your message while another staff member was waiting for your response. This is the possible scenario I can think of at this moment. Otherwise, I do not see any reason why they would blame a DT1 member for suspicious behaviour.

They care, actually. They have been spending thousands of dollars every month on promotion, and they have been cooperating with holydarkness to solve all the scam accusations. But I do agree that they are worse when it comes to communication.

Another thing to add aside from what others, God of Thunder, have pointed out could be that they are active in the forum, but they might not be very familiar with everyone in the forum and might only feel comfortable communicating with those few members whom they are familiar with, like their campaign manager and Darkness, who have actively been helping out in solving accusations issues. Either the person who was in charge of the account at that moment was just being seriously cautious or is probably not in his/her best mood.

There might be an error somewhere which may have led to this misunderstanding. For your repute in the forum it's unlikely that BC GAME would want to give you such response for just asking for their interest in sponsoring a competition in the forum.

However, concluding they don't really care about the community is what I am doubt with because they have been major sponsors of come competitions in the forum.

Its definitely not standard for a reputable casino to react that way to a sponsorship inquiry. If you only sent two messages and your intent was clearly to discuss sponsorship, their response seems completely out of line.  Its tough to say exactly what happened without seeing the messages, but looks like there was a miscommunication somewhere.

notblox1, we receive a lot of messages, so we asked you 3 simple questions about metrics, and you did not answer one of them. In response, you answered with abstract phrases and mentioned some users who would store money intended for the event you wanted to manage. This is unprofessional and you look like a beggar. We also blocked BeManga who sent us spam non-stop and nakamura12 who, like you, asked for money. Therefore, we consider our decision to block justified.

@notblox1 this is not in bad faith, but since you were trying to reach out to them to find out if they were open to sponsoring a community event. They have a right to be paranoid and ask questions instead of just accepting anything that comes their way. Who knows how many other random users send them PMs every day.

The last statement wasn't necessary, though. It feels more like extortion from another point of view. It's like you were okay with them until they refused to honour your wish, and now all of a sudden they are something else.

The good thing is they didn't tag you or anything like that, so I don't think it's not good to create a mountain out of such an issue, especially if the PMs were unsolicited. This is just my piece of thought.

You sounds like you are representing the entire community. Refusing you for something does not mean they are refusing the community. Instead of reaching out to them directly you could reach out to their campaign manager and discuss it with him. That would ease the tension.

BC.GAME, the other names you mentioned, did they ask you to sponsor a context or a community initiative or it was an outright begging? Maybe we could know what projects pass through.

According to their reply, if I understood it well, it appears nakamura12 did something similar to what OP did. BeManga on the other hand kept spamming their PM while requesting for funds. It also appears this is not the first time he has done so if you have a look through their trust profile. He probably targets brands that advertise in the forum

The statement by BC game could also mean that he was asked three questions and he answered two correctly and failed one. I think OP should just take the refusal in good faith and move on. In business, there are sometimes misunderstandings due to misinterpretation of proposals, mistrust or miscommunication.

I am not a fan of BC as far as the main account goes but I also do not let it get personal and try to smear them whenever they do not agree to a proposal. If you have a proposal it would be better to send it to the support account as the person running that account uses a little more of their people skills.

I am unsure of what questions you may have been asked but whatever they were, if you want someone to send you money you have to respect them and answer their questions. You cannot just get pissed and open a thread. You mention lots of scam accusations against them which you were ok with until they refused your offer right? Some might say that says a lot about you.

The one unprofessional side is you, ands you are not telling the truth when you say that I didnt answer your question.
Actually you are the one asking for abstract questions that are impossible to answer precisely.

I don't see this part is wrong?

This mean they use numbers as the metric/key to value the successfulness.

No one can predict the future, but someone who have familiar in marketing should able to know the average impression.

Similar like a business proposal, you have an idea to sell a coffee, you also need to calculate how much possible profit you can get and how long the you will get break even point.

You clearly knew their reputation had been heading deeper inside the gutter yet you still asked if they were interested in sponsoring an event. After they treated you with contempt, you stated you knew they had many scam accusations against them and you stated they proved they do not care about the forum community. This behaviour does not look good on your part. If you knew their reputation was gutter-level you should never have approached them.

Having said that, they certainly do care about the forum because they are paying quite a lot of members via their campaign and to my knowledge they do not have complaints against them for either delayed payments or non-payment to signature campaign participants. They definitely do care about their reputation but strangely enough not when it relates to scam accusations and that is unprofessional.

Over the course of the last couple of months, my opinion of BC Game has shifted significantly. The number of scam accusations made against them (and the manner in which they seems to treat those that are making complaints against them) should be a warning to avoid them.

You made your point about what happened therefore I would advise you to lock the thread.

Let me repeat again that I didnt ask anything for myself, no profit, no money.
This was all to give something back to bitcointalk community, and it is always going to be like that with me.
People who worked me in prediction competitions and other projects already know that, and my post history can show that.
