Missed? No no, not yet. Ok now competition&game's theory is a bit though with big companies and governments but no.  You will never miss this opportunity if you can still buy it! Of course people where "early" adopters has a crazy result. But you can still get your advantage!

I will say "this is ended" when there are no exchanges availables or much worst scenario once tx fee would be too high.
unfortunately this is one of the future plausible scenarios... at least for "on chain transaction".

People who watched that video possibly bought bitcoin or don't buy it but the bigger challenge is how to strongly believe in Bitcoin future and hold it for many years since 12 years ago. People who managed to hold bitcoins for 12 years would be very rich now and Bitcoin truly changed their life while the others who exited the market too early would not become too rich and possibly some of them would feel very regretful now.

We don't need to roll back to too long in the past like 12 years ago but only 2 years ago when Bitcoin price was about $15,000 or $16,000 or even $20,000 is enough. If people bought bitcoin around those prices in a latest bear market and managed to hold it till 2025 would have seen very good profit. It's 600% ROI after 2 or 3 years and it's dream of many investors, not only Bitcoin investors.

Wow looks like he knew what he was talking about. I am surprised to see this video, I had no idea people had this much foresight on what Bitcoin would become and why it would be so valuable while it was only 1 dollar each...

Had I seen this video 12 years ago, I definitely would have taken an interest, at the very least. I can tell when someone is passionate about something and the passion usually has a good reason...

Davinci was so right as well as others who didn't have the chance to start a YouTube channel to appeal to the public to buy Bitcoin. That was about 12 years ago. Imagine 12 years from today what bitcoin's price is going to look like and the type of messages people are going to post to talk about 12 years ago when bitcoin was just over 100k USD.

I have come across this post severally (video) and it just reflects the same actual plot right now, the same way he pleaded to buy Bitcoin at $1 is how people lack interest accumulating at this level. Those who didn't buy but heard the news, and those refusing to buy now are (will be) facing the same reactions when Bitcoin grows into multiple figures just a matter of time.

Honestly, watching videos or anything about Bitcoin when it was so cheap or even worthless will definitely make you regret not believing in it back then. And only a small percentage believed and bought it back then, while the majority didn't because it was still confusing and doubtful. I suspect those who owned it when it was so cheap, at least $1 or less, never believed the price would skyrocket. Or when Bitcoin reached multiple ATHs, they would have sold long ago, tempted by the huge profits and worried the price would drop again.

But it's important to own it and not repeat the same mistake of not believing in it back then. Bitcoin will always offer significant profit opportunities for those who own it or buy it anytime with a long-term goal in mind, and I still believe Bitcoin will reach $1 million in the future, so we shouldn't repeat the same mistake. Even if we don't reach that price, at least Bitcoin has provided substantial returns over the long term, as its track record shows.

I did not miss a lifetime opportunity. All that is important to me is to be able to live a good life and also be average or above average. Not only bitcoin that made people rich in the last decade. Only what that is important about this is that, bitcoin is a very good asset that was created in the last decade.

Based on the number of videos he makes on YouTube, I'm a bit surprised that someone who bought Bitcoin at $1 and still holding should be chilling somewhere on a private yacht or something. Not to be posting videos on YouTube almost every week like some influencer depending on it as a source of livelihood. Which makes me wonder if he sold his bag and started acquiring again a few years later.

Even if you say we didn't miss the opportunity. I still think I miss the opportunity. Back in 2008 I am already busy working online and have managed to discover BTC in 2010, I just didn't take it seriously because I have more jobs to do online. I kept encountering BTC in the linux forum and yet I have not tried buying because of some people who says its just a casino coin and it will pass soon.

If I just listen to the other side who says its the future I would have spend even just $100 for it. And maybe I will wait till today.

Let's see if you can get it straight, starting with the OP. This thread has had 10 comments and no one has stopped to analyse the basics.

The video was posted on May 9, 2013, when the bitcoin price was at around $110. So take a couple of zeros off all the calculations you are making. If someone had bought $1 of bitcoin back then (which is what he was recommending to people, to buy $1 worth of bitcoin, not when bitcoin was at $1), which would be 0.01 bitcoin, they would have just over $1000 today.

Opportunity can come in any form and not everyone o fit we see or tend to yield to, bitcoin has been available over the years when it has no value and some already had been informed about it, but they never took a step as at then till now that we speak, all because they either don't know about it, not willing to take risk or display a careless attitude towards any trending opportunity they see, but to the best of it all, in bitcoin, the opportunities are neve ending once we are able to understand and see what we have ahead, invest and hold, we can always make it up.

If I saw the video at the time it was made, maybe I would have agreed that I missed out on a life changing buying opportunity but seeing it now after years has already passed, I doubt I've missed out on it because I never knew such a thing as bitcoin ever existed as far as ten years ago.

Going through the reactions from those that watched the video years later after the video was released, one common thing I found is that people always assume that if they saw the video earlier that they would have invested forgetting that at the moment they saw the video that it is also not late to get started that very moment. Maybe bitcoin will not replicate what it did some years back but the reality is that we're never going back to those times. Now is the only buying opportunity we have. Any other time other than now is gone and gone for good. Now and the future is the only thing we have to take advantage of.

I already feel I know the guy even before watching the video, the video is already very popular and the man is also very popular himself so popular that he is now cashing in on his fame because I have seen him advert for some memecoin and altcoins.
When he asked people to buy Bitcoin at not more than a dollars he was being real but now just like him many memecoin and altcoins are hiring influencers.

Only if 90% of his viewers then had listend to the advice, their might have been more Bitcoin made millionaires  today. $1 is not much a big deal which would have become millions of dollars today but reverse is the case today, if you buy $1 worth of Bitcoin now, can it turn to $1 million in the next 12 years? So much competition now, retail investors like us needs to continue buying consistently before we can be able to get a millions profit.

This video came up in my feed more often and I knew this atleast 5 years back but everyone got regret for missing out something.

I'm not sure if anyone seen this, but the same guy was shilling for an altcoin a couple of months back or the time when BTC raised from 90K to 120K and people criticized about how things change over the period, am not entirely sure it was for real or AI generated one though.

All I can say is, "Better late than never".

The fact and what may still amuse you is that some people may have been persuaded by this guy to buy the bitcoin when it was still very low that time  even though they can’t get 1BTC with $1 is that they were not able to hold on to it for too long before they sold it off. Sometimes we may really feel bad that we didn’t invest when it was still very low, not also knowing that the bigger problem is you not being able to hold on to the bitcoin for many years till now before selling. I just believe that any opportunity that you missed was never yours to get, you plan to get another one at another time when the opportunity presents itself again which in this case has repeatedly came again.

Seeing this video was tough actually , then I don’t think I have a browsing (that can connect me to the internet) device . But if I had saw this video earlier during when I started using my first browsing device I would have been interested. Because then I started looking for things I could do in the internet that will help me with some extra funds , I would have invested even though I started with as low as $10 then I would have still build something beautiful at the end but it haven’t too later though , because there’s still time to grab some opportunity.

That's why it's not good to look down to information of investment, I could remember when bitcoin is but 5 dollars and people were saying that bitcoin is a scam, and other people dislike bitcoin just like that, by now so many people would have been a billionaire in bitcoin but they were not having the trust that bitcoin will become something else, we need to understand that bitcoin investment brought opportunities to people but people couldn't utilise the opportunity that bitcoin brought to them, so for me people would have become rich for investing in bitcoin.
