It's been 12 years, and that was the beginning of the Bitcoin journey. During that time people weren't very aware of Bitcoin and its potential growth. But can you believe recently a lot of videos were published to buy Bitcoin, but still we aren't buying it? 12 years back people weren't experienced with Bitcoin, but now? Most of the people at least know about Bitcoin; those are deeply related to the internet. We regret it now because we didn't buy it early 12 years back. But maybeafter 10 years, we will regret why we haven't bought it now.

However, it's normal; at the beginning, no one welcomed Bitcoin. But when we already know, we still don't try to accumulate. Time isn't over yet; we have enough time to accumulate Bitcoin and hold for quite a bit longer. A lot of things are yet to come for Bitcoin investors. Have to take the advantage; it's not late yet.

My friends and I often discuss things like what you're talking about, and some of them involve YouTube videos from years ago that discuss Bitcoin. One of the most frequently discussed is Andreas' talk with the subject of "Bitcoin Neutrality", He explains that Bitcoin can be used or adopted by anyone. Interestingly, his statement clearly states that Bitcoin has a future, and I think we can already feel it now and then. There, We also can see that few people have heard, and it seems like few people were interested in listening to or discussing Bitcoin at the time.

Apart from that, I feel that we need to discuss this kind of discussion to get the meaning, and one of the important meanings that I get is to be able to take advantage of it by investing in Bitcoin, and I feel that even though Bitcoin currently seems very high in value, I still believe that this is still the beginning or still in the early stages, therefore let's take advantage of this moment, make installments on Bitcoin, you can use any method, including DCA.

Bitcoin hitting new ATH and they are getting popular on meta. I've stopped visiting meta like before. I saw some posts on X (formerly Twitter) that bunch of people were happy to sold BTC at 3-5x profit. Specifically a user he bought BTC 0.04$ and sold it 0.2$ solid 4x but he was still regretting cause he sold early and price of BTC hits 1$ 😂. I wonder if he still regrets .

Of course we all can agree he is not the only one who urged guys to buy bitcoin at that very price but the idea was too young to be massively be adopted.

I not sure people would regret not buying at that point but the guys who will regret the most are those who bought the idea and bought it cheap just to have sold at $100 ATH or less or even above and now it $118k and still counting those are the guys who will be filled with regrets right now.

Missed? No no, not yet. Ok now competition&game's theory is a bit though with big companies and governments but no.  You will never miss this opportunity if you can still buy it! Of course people where "early" adopters has a crazy result. But you can still get your advantage!

I will say "this is ended" when there are no exchanges availables or much worst scenario once tx fee would be too high.
unfortunately this is one of the future plausible scenarios... at least for "on chain transaction".

No one believed the prediction that Bitcoin would reach its current price. I've seen that video so many times. And that $1 is just an encouraging way for people to buy Bitcoin at any amount that they can afford.
Some might think that buying $1 at that time is equivalent to 1 bitcoin. No, it's still a low amount although compared to the price now, sure that $1 is quite huge.
But is it going to be life changing? probably. But that video is all about telling people that they're still early at that time and they should invest right away if they can.
Today, it's still not too late for everybody to buy but the mere difference is that $1 won't allow you to buy in exchanges and it will just be eaten nearly of a 3rd of it from the fee upon transfer.

Probably most people who bought bitcoin more than 10 years ago did not hold on to it.

When the value of their holdings doubled or tripled most sold. So if someone bought at $100
there is a strong chance they would have sold at $200, $300, $400, etc. or even less
Most people are happy with that much profit, which is still a very decent return.

Many even sold at a loss due to bitcoin's extreme volatility in those early years.
But people like Davinci held on to most if not all of it through all that time, and even
kept buying more during the big downturns. That is only possible with deep conviction
and understanding of what you are holding.

But Davinci's friends and family members didn't listen to him when he told them not to sell.
In one of his videos he says his brother and ex-girlfriend would be millionaires today

The price of Bitcoin is infinite no one knows the end point cause it keeps increasing and still has the potential of going higher than $1m most people are speculating it to be within the next 10 years, therefore those who missed the opportunity to invest when it was cheaper than it's cyrene price shouldn't feel left out cause there's still lots of opportunity and if they can start now to hodl till the next 10 years or more then they stand to gain lots from doing so, the good thing is even though people in future start buying at $1m then hodl it from that point till the next decades they'll still have lots of benefits, there's lots of opportunities all an investor just need is to buy and hodl for long.

I think we miss a fundamental ethos of bitcoin here -
A) A store of value,
B) A hedge against inflation and in fact keeping way ahead of inflation and therefore protecting what you earn now for the future. Your earnings aren't losing money if in bitcoins.
C)  Decentralization, non-interference from authorities and borderless.

Now, 99% in my estimation get into bitcoins for speculative purposes - I'll get rich if put in $x. Oh, I wish I'd bought bitcoins when it was $0.03, why didn't I listen in the early days, I'd have bought thousands! Without believing in the philosophy of bitcoins, you will 100% take profit when it hits 5x, 50x, 500x, 5,000x etc. of your purchase price, even today when it's at $120k a coin. It's understandable, who would resist the temptation unless you believe in the ethos of bitcoins? And that's exactly what happened to the majority of the early bitcoin adopters, and those are the most pained people today - the ones who sold their coins and not those who missed out. You must "Hodl" the bitcoin. Never sell. Take a loan on it if you need cash but never, ever sell it. Here's the challenge - will you as a current bitcoin holder sell when it's at $1 million per coin? You won't? Really ...

You could say that many miss the chance to buy bitcoin at that time but not all would say so since no one could predict the price of bitcoin to reach its current price after 12 years or even if it's just a year or two. Let's say that bitcoin will stay at 100k for 1 bitcoin after 12 years but we don't know that it might reach 200k after 12 years so that's why I said that no one could have thought that It is what it is today. As much as I wanted to turn back time, and buy every bitcoin with cents price before how I wish I could. But there will be time we always gonna think why we didny buy bitcoin at this time. In 2013 (and earlier), people still had a poor understanding of the essence of Bitcoin. In addition, many people far from the IT industry were scared off by the technical aspects associated with storing Bitcoins. Not all humanities students could figure out a program like Bitcoin Core, while simple Bitcoin clients such as the Electrun wallet did not yet exist🤷

I personally know people who stored their Bitcoins on the MTgox cryptocurrency exchange and lost all their first cryptocurrency🧟

In general, as the old pirate John Silver (the hero of Robert Stevenson's novel "Treasure Island") said, the main thing is not to find the treasure, but to keep it! But saving (keeping) your Bitcoins for 12 years (since 2013), in my opinion, was a non-trivial task. Which many have not coped with in practice🦧

However, now, reading such articles, of course, I really want to go back in time and buy Bitcoins at a price of 1 US dollar.  In my opinion, this is one of the most attractive investment opportunities in human history.💁

The fact is that even some certain people bought Bitcoin back then and followed the man's advice. 12 years ago, many people may have sold off their Bitcoin investments as the price of Bitcoin increased a little. If I were told back then that Bitcoin's price would reach $118k, I might have argued against it. So, even if I had invested in Bitcoin at that time, I might have sold it as the price increased.

The truth is that there are some people who bought Bitcoin five years ago and no longer hold it today because they sold off their investments. They didn’t believe that Bitcoin would reach such a price by now. Some people are confident that certain sets of individuals may not hold for a long period of time. Even so, some are advising people not to give up on Bitcoin because they still see it as an opportunity to invest.

However, some people still won't invest in Bitcoin because they never believed that Bitcoin could still give them 5x returns in the near future. No matter what advice you may give, some people will hardly invest. The truth is, not everyone can invest in Bitcoin, and not everyone can hold it for the long term to make reasonable profits.and that is how bitcoin investment will continue to be there will always be who will always later regret theie action toward bitcoin.

That was before and don't think that we missed some good opportunity since we have different timelines that we know Bitcoin.

 Don't feel sorry about it if you have this thoughts that you didn't know Bitcoin earlier since even at this point you can also buy Bitcoin for future harvesting. For sure that you will never said this statement again that you missed a once in a lifetime opportunity especially if you act and accumulate Bitcoin then hold it for long term.

There is a season for every investor. We did miss buying early, but we didn't miss the actual train for Bitcoin. We're in it as a lifetime opportunity and if you've been holding for so long, you're one of the few that should be proud of how it had come.

That’s a 100,000x profit right there… just imagine if we had known back then and decided to buy $1,000 worth of Bitcoin, that would be $100 million today. That’s more than enough to retire on, even bigger than the contracts of some non-superstar NBA players. Unfortunately, many of us didn’t even know what Bitcoin was at the time and only discovered it much later. But still, for those of us who managed to invest even when it was already $200 or higher, the gains are still huge compared to where the price is now.
