What's your exit plan in the 2025 season?

The crypto market is absolutely buzzing right now, hitting an exciting altseason! We're seeing spot ETH ETF inflows outpace even spot BTC ETFs, companies are stacking up ETH, and the buzz around ETH's role in the digital economy is growing louder by the day. The fact that tens of thousands of old BTC haven't dragged its price below 100K USD is a strong testament to the market's current strength.

Everyone's glued to their screens, dissecting trends and charts, hoping to catch the next big wave this altseason. Meanwhile, I've been consistently DCA into BTC and other top coins. I even locked in some profits on BTC at 100K USD, 110K USD, and 120K USD. This is exactly when I start strategizing my exit before the inevitable crypto winter sets in.

I don't buy into the idea that the 4-year crypto market cycle is dead, despite what some market CEOs are suggesting. I firmly believe the BTC halving still packs a punch for the crypto market, even if it's just from a sentiment perspective, especially since the broader economy also follows a roughly 4-year cycle. No asset can surge forever: a correction is healthy and necessary to cleanse the market and bring assets back to their true value. I learned this the hard way in the 2021 season, where I missed out on most of my potential gains because I held out for a "super cycle" that would push BTC to 100K USD.

Considering BTC peaked in November 2013, December 2017, and November 2021, I'm eyeing November 2025 as my window to exit the market. I'd rather not wait for a clear market collapse signal in Q1 2026. If clear signals aren't there, I'll plan to exit around November 15th or November 30th this year to safeguard my profits.

Knowing when you have enough usually brings a sense of peace. I'm mentally preparing myself to potentially miss out on further rallies, meaning I won't have any regrets if the market absolutely explodes after I take my profits. My plan is to hold USDT and patiently wait for the market bottom so I can start DCA into BTC again for the next cycle.

In other altcoins that I hold, I have at least reduced it to sell because there is a profit somehow, although I only pinched it and others I have been able to buy back after selling recently.
And in others I still hold it.

Then I really have price targets for my holdings of crypto assets and it is important because we have a price target,
we cannot just guess or feel whether we will sell or not.

It's still very profitable, but I've managed to transfer my capital, and the rest is just ongoing profits. Of course, this will have to be disposed of slowly at the end of the cycle; this is not the right time to be a holder.

I'm 80% likely to exit this cycle, but the most important thing is that I haven't lost money. Although I've lost money on some projects, other altcoins have returned the money, so overall, it's still quite safe. My exit plan is to see how each time I see an aggressive rise, I exit.

But is there really an exit plan? I think we all want to take profits but upon realizing that this market is here to stay, I don't think that it's going to come to most of us. Just like the market, we'll just take the profits if we're able to but never will cross in our minds to have a final decision to exit.

So far, I’m doing well and will continue to do so as long as there is no significant shift in the market. All the coins and tokens I’ve invested in have proven their worth in the market; they have made a mark in the industry, with a large community and utility that makes a significant difference.

I don’t intend to make an exit plan as long as you have confidence in the coins and tokens you’ve invested, its ok to take a profit, but make sure that you don’t oversell and always do research on market profit so you can take profit, it’s always buy low and sell high and picking the right coin to invest and it start with Bitcoin.

Truly we can see the way the market has been rising and how people are taking advantage of investing to make profits, including governments and institutions being interested in bitcoin, this also causes for more increase in demands and the price as well on an increasing pattern, I don't know how far this bullrun could reach before we are out of the season, but every investors should take advantage of everything now than never.

Q4 2025 still remains the target time period for my exit. This hasn't been my best bull run considering the fact that it's now harder than ever to make decent profits in this market because all good majors and a few selected small to mid cap alts have done wellin this market. After realizing and regretting my mistakes, I've started building a swing position in ETH that I would exit in Q4 if everything go on as planned and we get an ETH ATH and at least $7000 ETH as the bare minimum milestone price in this bull run.

I understand markets won't go up forever and sooner rather than later, most pf these treasury companies will start selling their stash.

No exit plan for bitcoin, although people say there will be bearish cycle and that we're at the end of bullish season personally I don't believe it for this time around. I bet things will be different.

My strategy has always been about rotating to altcoin then convert it back to bitcoin, i'll probably keep doing until bitcoin reach an ever higher ATH into the future.

Cash out all altcoins to stablecoins and lock them in different lending platforms to minimize risk. Most altcoins do not have a good future, so it is better to do this rather than pray that another altcoin season comes.

Always chasing the next token that is worthy to invest is very risky. I advise you to only invest a small amount of the staked money and always keep most locked into earning platforms. You only need 1 bad investment to wipe out all your profit and hard work over the past few years.

Currently I am 100% altcoins and my portfolio is +61%.

My plan is to not start selling any until ETH is near its $4600 all time high , hopefully it will be there in August/ September sometime.

I do not think we will have a real altseason till Q4 this year, but that is now only a few months away so we just have to remain patient till then and make sure we start taking profits in time and not get too greedy.

The crypto market is volatile. There is a tendency to be bullish and bearish at times. In these bullish and bearish situations, many can be profitable by using their skills and experience. However, just as everyone comes to the market for profit, when the market may fall, they also return again, they try to return to the safe zone. The current market situation is still positive. I think that if we invest at this time, we can get a good return by the end of this year, but not everyone will have the same mindset and not everyone will invest based on the same strategy. Recently, some are thinking that the market may return to decline again, but I am also confident now. Since I have adopted a long-term investment strategy, I do not have to think about exiting the market at this time.

I'll be waiting for the next few months to decide. We still have around 5-6 months of a nice bull rally whether it be bitcoin or altcoins.
I think I will be taking profits at that point. Although I won't sell everything but may be around 50%-75% depending on the pump.
I will keep holding some of coins so that I don't miss out on that extra pump just in case that happens. I am fine with the downside of it as well.
Since I would have taken around 75% out I will then wait for a correction to reinvest those profits.
But that is only if I am able to decide whether the market will shift and if not then I will just keep holding on to my coins.

Is trailing stop loss honestly good enough? I can put a sell order at 120k if it goes there and my stop loss would be enough mostly. But I am first waiting for it to crack over 130k first before I do that, if it cracks over 130k and then I put it at 120k that would be good enough for me, and then if it ever cracks over 140k then I will change it to 130k stop loss, and so forth until it stops going over in 10k increments. That is the way to move forward and usually makes a lot money for people and prevents you from making mistakes.

The best way to move forward with this would be a lot better if you could just focus on how to make some good return. Obviously things aren't that complicated at the time, but people make it complicated, just do this and you will be fine.

Well it’s getting close to profit taking season now, we have to be ready to sell some of our coins, as close to the top as possible. Timing the exact top is near impossible but we can sense when FOMO is here so that’s time to sell. It will be time to improve your life situation but always keep a healthy fiat balance to buy back in the bear market.

For short term positions then I would definitely be considering on taking profits out before the cycle would be going back to bearish. When it would happen?
No one really knows and thats why its important that you should be setting out goals so that you wont be ending up on having that regret later on, specially if you've
been that get caught on the dump then that would be that take up some time before you can move on.

I have done something in the past like selling out all of my holdings Bitcoin+Altcoins, then wait up for the extreme bear market on which we do say or talk about
that bloody market on where prices are already at the bottom on which we can say that this is the most sweetest spot for you to enter
and something which is profitable if you do able to hold up for long.
