In this thread, no one will admit that they are addicted to gambling and are addicted gamblers. Everyone will say that everyone is gambling responsibly and no one is gambling irresponsibly. In fact, no one will talk about their own faults and their addiction, everyone will leave here with big lectures, but there are many people addicted to gambling in this forum, so whether someone admits it or not is not a big deal. You just need to manage your emotions and understand when you're making a mistake and how to do it. Personally, when my emotions are a bit out of whack, I try not to gamble because I know I'd get into trouble and that would lead to making bad decisions. Addiction is all about that.

First of all, I don't gamble regularly, and although I gamble only for fun and to pass the time. But there are many people who first start gambling for fun and later become addicted to it. But I think if a person gets the same pleasure from gambling in something else, it will be easier for him to quit gambling. While I strongly agree that in gambling a miracle is needed in order for you to make a substantial win and gain a lot of money I strongly disagree that the road to wealth is through salary and let's say like a 13th salary which most companies give as a bonus nowadays. Just tell me one 9 to 5 person who got wealth by going to this rat race everyday of his life. In fact this is not the best way of life despite 95% of us being stuck here, just think that if you work for 45 years to enjoy a few years of freedom when they are not worth as you are old and get a smaller salary called in many countries "the pension". I would rather take my chances on gambling every time with money that I can afford to lose chasing the big miracle rather than doing nothing.

I'm not , as individual with good management skills. I stake within my budget, i have never stake $50 in gambling before, it has always been below it. Because i know i will lose the money and if i lose it, it will not bother me. secondly i do not stake everyday, i only play gamble whenever am free with a spare cash. To avoid gambling addition you must have something that occupy your time, if you are always free you will be addicted so fast.

Not every real gamblers are addicted to gambling, and the fact that a gambler chooses to gamble for fun doesn't not mean he or she is not a real gamblers, after all, gambling was never supposed to be seen or taken as a means of making money, but a means of simply having fun while time passes.

For me, I've never been addicted to gambling and I will never be, because I've learnt on time to gamble responsibly, I've learnt on time all the reasons and causes of gambling addiction and I've always ensured that I am keeping watch over myself and my emotions while gambling, anything I notice anything out of the ordinary, I simply quit and maybe take a break for few days or weeks.

And speaking of my reason of gambling, I've said this before, I gamble for no other reason other than to have fun, but I do most times desire to win money, but then if the money doesn't come, I count it all joy still.

Not just money, but also time, and I am saying that based on experience. I remember back then when I was playing slots almost the whole day, and my only rest was when I ate lunch, dinner, and took a bath. That's it.

When every gambler enters the gambling game, basically every gambler gambles with the intention of winning. As far as I know, I am also a gambler but I never enter the gambling with the intention of losing, because every gambler bets on the game with the maximum research and maximum experience.
