Check your Leaderboard ranking based on earned merit 7D,30,90D Time frame

So I recently thought about it there's rank system in forum JR to legendary. It would be great if we can check a user's rank according to their earned merit on specific time frame 7D , 30D , 90D , 120D  

So I tried to build a test project - All thanks to LoyceV since he has billions of data dumped. I took data from his - https://loyce.club/Merit/merit.all.txt and organize it and make it more suitable to visit and check the data.

Since there's thousands of user I've implemented a search bar , if they are not in top 100. I also added a section of 24h Most active user , A section where it will show those who is close to their next rank and recently promoted to their next rank.

I just started the RDP so it will take some time to sync all active user data , close to rank and recently promoted data

Also it's a test project, there's might be still lot's of space to improve. For now Leaderboard page is almost accurate, I checked it on Bpip also 30D earned merit was accurate .

Wow this is a really fine tool and I do like it Especially for the feature of users close to their next rank and lacking just a few merits. I've noticed that regardless of the fact that there are a ton of rank up threads on the forum, there are some users that don't fancy posting there to get a merit giveaway to their next rank and this tool would really be useful for merit sources to notice them.

Also how do you calculate your active users? is it by the number of post made in the last 24hrs or in day or others? I'm curious on this specifically.

However, I think I like the part of users close to their next rank with the exact number of merit required but then what if they are held back by activities? because I can remember some guys like Mia Chloe had to wait for their activities to rank up while they already have enough merit. So do you also put that in consideration?

Right now I am counting all user's who is posting actively on forum and ny scrapper is scrapping the data in every 10min. I'm thinking about shifting to Loyce V data since he has this section. It would be light weight for my tool also.

Yes I've added a activities rules there also. Since I just turned on my RDP it will take some time to adjust all the data.

Good tool, but I have made a few observations in respect to the next rank-up features. (Some users like Lannakosa and  promise444c5  which I have checked) Some of the names listed there have already obtained their new rank more than 24 hours ago, which should have been updated according to your 24-hour merit update.

While exploring your site, I got a little more than my expectations and I liked the smoothness. 
However, even though we have found this data on other websites, I think these two features are different here and I personally like them.
Keep it up, hopefully we will see more good features.

Suggestion from my side, you can also add All-time ranking for merits even though it is available for users to check using Bpip tool, it doesn't hurt to see it in yours as well. And 24 hours to update merit looks too long, it will be more accurate if you decrease it, not sure how much stress it will add, but can give more accurate stats like users who are close to rank up shown might have already ranked up if you update once every 24 hours.

Exactly what I thought because for someone who knows how to find things in the forum it would be too complex to get things figured out. However if using Loyce tool it only makes the difference in layout/design and I guess he's more concerned about the information than looks.

BTW, not a programmer but relates how much effort put in to achieve this, keep it up and let's see the difference in the next 24hrs.

Congratulations! It's a great and smooth platform to keep track of your merit scores, who's ranking up soon etc. It also reminded me that I need to brush up my merit hunting skills, as my merit has been on a decline the past few months. Although some data is already available through other platforms, it's still a nice addition to the list, while it's extremely fast and versatile to use.

Bpip only shows top 1k All time merit earners. Cause there's millions of user's it would be impossible to show all of them together. That's why I tried to create only earned merit ranking system in a specific timeline. For now I will keep it for 24hour lets see how things turns out. I published this project a week ago I ran some test's that time. My ranking system was not ready so I didn't make it public to everyone. So those data still in the database. It will take some time to get fully update and Ig I will tweak some more.

However if using Loyce tool it only makes the difference in layout/design and I guess he's more concerned about the information than looks. 

His raw data is not readable. So I did a bit tweak on it and presented a well structured readable data also user friendly. His millions of data will hang your device to load on browser and for that reason we saw lot's of research and presentation of these thing in topic by our some forum member's by every month. So I just made it automation.

Those who is wondering that this leaderboard thing is already presented on Bpip ,well it's not. Bpip only shows topic with most merited in specific timeframe not user's earned merit in specific time frame. If they would showed or there's a data base like Loyce V you can suggest me Ig, cause I didn't find it. It would be more lightweight and fast and easy for my rdp to handle.

It's a different way of showing this information, with less "noise", as it focuses only on the merits.
I see it as a tool that has room for growth, at least to try to attract more regular use.

I liked it, to be honest. This is something unique, and I believe it helps a lot. I think we used to ddmrddmr's merit dashboard a lot, and I feel like that guy disappeared as if he never existed. He is famous for his merit spree as well. But I don't remember seeing him lately. Your tool looks too good. I appreciate your work; you tried to build something unique and useful.

That's right, I forgot about that in BPIP, so users with lower merit counts can also find their ranks, especially the new ones with a higher number of merits received in the 30/60/120 days. As I said, try implementing the all-time ranking as well.

As others said, it's smooth and sleek to navigate so I will bookmark it now.

I tried everything, and they work fine, but the leaderboard is not working on my end. When I open it, it shows nothing, even when I change the timeframe, and I even tried searching my username, still nothing. This is what I'm getting:



Is it a problem in the database or something? Or is it just happening on my end? Please check it.

Overall, the tool is nice, and as said by everyone, you can improve it and add more features and options over time; there is a lot of room for improvement.

I used your system to merit 1 person he now has a 1000 merits

I have a suggestion one person at the top of your list has 990 merits I was going to merit him but he has not made a post since 2022 you should figure if you can screen people that go on your list and are stale say the word stale

If  they have not posted in two years or more.

Ig today when updating the LB it's deleted the database. Check again it should work now. I just noticed that Loyce v , data isn't totally upto date. So basically we're two days behind of update. So if you got merit today it will reflect on the rank page after two days

Yeah I checked it, strange how did he cameup on that page. I'm only tracking those who is active . My Vps is creating a database on active people, then it's filter out the close to next rank and recently promoted in 7days.

I click on it to see the recently promoted users and I got them so easily,
I think it almost has the same feature with BPIP since you can view lot of things from it.
Do you intend adding more feature like address that associate to their profile?
This could be fine as well, maybe with time more things can be added.

Yes you're right , I notice that also today. I'm scrapping data from Loyce V merit.all.txt  it's 3days behind from the real data. So if you get any merit today it will reflect in 3days. Btw if everyone used this tools we can get an average idea
