Many people are thinking that the market may already be heading towards a downward trend. Some are also looking at it positively. If Trump finalizes the tariffs by August 9, many people will be interested in investing in Bitcoin in the hope that the dollar will fall at that time, which will provide money to the market again. Yeah, I am one of those people who believe that this should be helping out bitcoin. Trump reiterated his resolve not to extend his suspended tariff war as to cause more tension to the asset market generally. But I don't think this would be making much impact on the markets are it did in the very beginning when this tariff issue first arise. The 90 days suspension has made many countries seek for alternatives to protect their economy and find solutions to any rise in tariff Trump might issue on them. Maybe that was why the BRICS meeting was held a week ago against this backdrop of Trump's tariff which was attended by new many nations of interest.

Yes, I thought that there will be no effect, but then again, the market at the start of this month tend to go down hard because of this news. It's true though that Bitcoin market is not going to be influence by this news, so the effect will not be long term.

Although maybe some of us might not take it well as we have been in the $120k'ish before this sudden drop of price. So let's see how long the market will react or when we are going to bounce back after this tariff news has settled down.

certainly, it is not completely impossible to speculate how bitcoin tend to react to economic instability considering that to a large extent, investors be it the whales or retail investors are easily influence by these variables. but, the extent of responsiveness of bitcoin to these economic instability is what makes it unique because regardless of the speculation, the reaction of bitcoin is always little afterwards it still returns back and even do better just like we have seen it doing in the midst of the whole tariff crisis. august 1st has come and gone and the slight DIP will not even last long before we will see bitcoin going higher again independent of these speculative factors.

And it shows that Bitcoin market is very different to any other asset. They might react to the same news, but most of the time Bitcoin might just wait like one week and then after that we will see a good rebound in the price.

That's why I admire investors who like never reacted to bad news, they just continue to buy and then look at the bigger picture. Hopefully, we can learn from this investors that we should not worry about the tariff and it's effect because it will not last long.

Now the price of Bitcoin is at $114k, looking not much different from the initial price when you started this thread. In the short term, Bitcoin should be just fine. Price movements may tend to be slow. Whether there is a decline or an increase in price, there probably won't be any surprising movements at this time. Hopefully, it will be like that, but there are quite a few speculating that the price will increase.

After a week of delay, Trump’s tariffs officially took effect today (August 7), but as we can see, neither crypto nor the stock market seem to care about it anymore. Bitcoin and crypto market are awash in green, while the Dow Jones, S&P and Nasdaq all increased slightly and there was no panic selling like 3 months ago when Trump first declared tariff war 2.0.

So we can be confident that we will be fine and even able to go up from here, instead of worrying that the situation will deteriorate as many fear.

What I have seen today, what the Donald Trump says before the election, does not keep most of those promises after victory. I don't know if it is a sense of all. However, since July 31 was imposing tariffs, Bitcoin flowed a lot on it.  And it is very normal because when some people in the world express any bad side or good aspects. Then it will have an impact on the crypto market. Since the imposition of tariffs has a huge impact on Bitcoin and prices begin to drop. Besides, Bitcoin prices are another reason behind CME gap. Anyway, Bitcoin had to come down to 112k to fill it and it was flipping it. Moreover, the impact of Donald Trump's tariff cannot last long and it has overcome Bitcoin. And I think Bitcoin will exceed 125k by the end of this month.

Tariffs may have caused whatever it was suppose to cause, but a week later and we are already back to close being where we were. We need to be happy about what we are seeing at the moment, which are green markets and green for all coins. If we can do that, then we can definitely reach to a great price without much trouble. Remember that bitcoin is doing fine and feel happy about what you are seeing.

If you do that then you are going to get a better return as well. Most people forget about what they are dealing with and because of that they end up with bad results as well. Think about how to get a better price for all of this, the future is looking bright and we are not doing half bad, we should be getting better results soon.

Tariff is already taking into effect and market sees no significant move. Why? because market already priced the event in the seconds trump announced the deadline. Everybody is already anticipating it and now that the tariff seems to have no serious backlash the market recovers back.

I expected the price to go full parabolic once the china's tariff deal settled on the 12 august deadline although i'm not so sure how impactful it wil be. As long as there's good news market will always turn green.

Why?

Like the war between Russia and Ukraine, Bitcoin was dumped when the war broke out but what about now? The war is still ongoing and shows no signs of stopping but bitcoin and the market have increased significantly since then. Likewise, the impact of the tariff war is temporary, bitcoin will gradually adapt and no longer care or be affected by it.

What is more interesting is that although bitcoin will no longer be negatively affected by wars and tariffs, once there is positive news from them, bitcoin will react positively. So we don't need to worry about tariffs anymore, Bitcoin has adapted to that.
