Yeah, Alot of people have been killed due to this reason. But it surprises me to see that this new generation are still making this mistake that those early people have been making before, and it seems to me that this new generation is even worst than the early people. This new generation like doing things in a way that people will look up to them, without knowing that they're indirectly putting thier lives at risk. In my country there was a time where everybody were hiding thier real identity because the rate of kidnapping was high due to lack of employment and other reasons so everyone was being careful with the words that comes out from thier mouth. I do agree with you because, the criminals seem not to be that very harmful criminals, else the story would have been a different one, relating this incident to something that had occurred in this country side with this approach towards the criminals, obviously they wouldn't have lived to tell the very story. I think going to the extent of flaunting your resources on social media is what should be entirely discouraged. You can't just decide to be flaunting your wealth online when it does not help you in any ways.
