What the hell i just did this last two round, i collect less than 3 points in both of them and now im out of the paid positions for the pools what a way of throwing away a entire season, i know this season im not paying so much attention to this pools but damn, how i can did so bad in this rounds when i was doing so good before.

Hopefully after the break Lance can maintain the necessary pace to keep the intrigue alive. Again, the longer the favorite stays motivated, the more predictable the games are, which is now in my favor.

Unfortunately, it wasn't down to them. They did protest, and issued a statement which in summary says this is why France has a farmer's league (well, it didn't say that but I'm being generously cynical with my interpretation heh). The FA decided and the match has been postponed.

I think most clubs will be sporting enough to say fine, fine, let's have at it. But the French FA's reason actually would make me even more annoyed were I Lens, as they said it was a strategic decision to ensure France remains in a good UEFA coefficient position to be able to continue fielding 4 clubs. Nothing to do with sportsmanship (which I suppose they know is a shallow reason anyway).

Now we would all be just saying: fine, ok, we'll give all the other teams some leeway. But nope, Lens has a heavy schedule in April too, no rescheduling for a particularly tough week of 3 games (2 cup semifinals included).

PSG now has one game in hand and a +4 point lead, which they could potentially turn into +7. With only six games remaining until Ligue 1 ends, I think this is pretty much over. PSG is not playing as well as in previous years, but it is more than enough to secure the championship, perhaps even in the next few weeks. Lens is definitely in 2nd; even if they manage to go on a losing streak, a +9 point advantage against Lille/Marseille is great. We will only have the battle for 3rd and 4th position for the UCL.

Is incredible how i keep falling in this pool, i was fighting in the top 5 for the whole season and in just 3 round i waste it all, 3 horrible rounds and now im far behind outside top 10, what a disaster thats is because i dont put the correct attention to it and was picking without so much care.

I was hunting for some upsets over the weekend, but somehow, passed on Southampton (10/1) and Mallorca (8/1). Possibly because they both weren't over 10/1 and possibly because I simply didn't think either could do better than a draw.

And yes, this game was of some significance as it means PSG can breathe a little easier and possibly, take fewer risks. On the other hand, that could be a psychological factor (Liverpool wanting to risk more).

PSG can afford to lose 6 points. Lose 7 and that would still require Lens to win every single game here on for them to steal the title. It's just not realistic, unfortunately.

This is how I felt in Bundesliga. I was either second or first, fighting it out with LTC_btc and KTChampions for most of the season... and then it all unravelled with just ONE gameweek, where I lost more than 10 points versus practically the whole pool and have just not been able to mount any sort of recovery since.

At least you can blame carelessness. I was actually doing my best there!
