This is really overdue in my heart to said that the hardship in Nigeria has really affect millions of youth from progressing, reason be that the country political crisis and corruption has taken the real essence of leadership and the laws in the country is made to favor the rich among us, that's why any youth that want to rise and speak they will come after you. If we have 10 youths like Very Dark Man (VDM) who loves to advocate for youths maybe they'll be a chance of youth progessing easily in Nigeria.

Government don't wish or want good of the youth, they make every possible policies to affect how you think or what you wish to do, even most are afraid of establishing a company or firm in Nigeria because of their taxs and policies. They prefer to go about and label crimes on youths with regular questions like how do you make the money? We hope one day the youth will rise and take over the country.

Back to your discussion, we are all selfish in this country, if corruption work in your own way, you will call it connection, and that’s the plain fact.
Some of us wants a better and fair society, but our leaders are the problems, they have united themselves in the office and then allow us to be battling with one problems or the other, and if you decide to stay or talk against them, you get punished because no law is working.

Now, even if we make a move to make our own youth to lead, we will see unfairness because they will be after building their wealth to avoid finishing with nothing. We need to change our mentality entirely before we can have a better nation.

It very difficult for the youth to grow in all ramifications; ranging from politics, business,  professional career e.t.c. The old politician has refuse to give the younger once a chance to thrive, those that want to build a professional career can't even get a job to start a career for themselves  or is it those that wants to go into business,  the policies are there to kill their dreams.
I also blame the youth that refuse to rise and turn things around rather the same youth will still support this politicians and even work to bring them back to power. I really feel sorry for Nigeria.

Tbh we are the cause of our problems too yes the government are not trying . Is quite funny are some people that usually complain about the government can turn out be worse when they taste power, one thing have took notice on is that most Nigeria youth Are not ready to do anything they just want the easy way out of anything most of them that’s why they usually go into frauds and stuff .

For instance the government endup establishing a lot of businesses for job opportunity a lot of youth won’t still work , some might be like the payment is to small due to the fact that they have touch millions , like the other day someone was literally telling me that he had a friend that don’t like home made food he prefer to order food , just in the name that he have touch money , while some youth are so hard working that they rather learn some valuable skill than go into frauds.

For a country like Nigeria it takes only the grace of God to make a positive change because with the kind of leaders we have and the kind of leaders they are warming up after them I don't see a better Nigeria anytime soon.
A country where the youths are being marginalized, no jobs provisions no government empowerment  nothing to show forth and the leader are just not concerned or bothered about it, insecurity problems hear and there unnecessary killings everywhere around the country.  The country is so fucked right now and it's worst with every passing leader.
My major problem is that the government should free the youths and stop going after them in the name of probing them because they are the first failures .

This is just like us having the traces of our leaders back to us. The youths have not really taken over most of the major positions in the country, so I won’t also say that we will all lead in the same path as our leaders in the past. Some youth might be showing some instincts of them already, but that’s not enough to conclude that if youths take over, they won’t be able to handle the resources of the country well as the current leaders are mismanaging it now. The leaders of our country have really failed us but I hope when the youths gets the chance, they don’t trail on their path and make the best out of the many opportunities that we can leverage us in this country.

We have had several young people in the pass who advocated against bad governance and inimical policies of the government. Some of  them are in power now, they have joined the oppressed class they once protested against. So shun the say that if we have 10 youths like very dark man, the country will be great. never trust a man until he has power and all the government agencies within him.

Even this very dark man, if he has political power it will shock you like the way Adam Oshiomole shocked us, Adam was a vibrate voice against the Nigeria bad government as the president of labor congress, as we speak, he is a senator after his eight years as a governor, he has become a toothless comrade.

no matter the aspect of VDM you bring out, it does not take out the important part which is that he has been a strong advocate for a better Nigeria where the voice of the youths is hard. when we see a man that stand strong on what is right, lets forget our differences and call a spade, a spade.

Em dey unfortunate sae, the future of our dear country no belong to youths as many countries do have the future of their country belonging to their youths. For our own country, we are having a different stories of the youths being intimidated, being used and dump by our politicians.

I totally agree with you, is because of the total collapse of the justice system, that is why people are mentioning the likes of VDM when talking about social construct, if there was rule of law that is being followed trust me, those social media influencers will be influencing on something else but not human rights.

The hardship in the country is also as a result of leadership failure, we don't have an independent electoral system that is truly independent, so the kind of leadership that comes from the electoral body breeds corruption, which has now snowballed into affecting various sectors of the economy because you have incompetent people Manning highly esteemed offices that are four credible leaders.

Normally we know say hardship dey everywhere, and so many persons don dey stack at a particular position because of that matter. Youths of our country no get joy, so e don result to dem going into different things like scam and robbery. E no get as e wan be wey never be before.
