This can be answered depending on many factors, but the sad truth is this: no matter how unhappy you are, if you have a family to think about or debts to pay, you are essentially a slave to that workplace. In fact, you are a slave to that system.

We're all in the rat race but we have an option to get out of it and we have to renew our minds so, we won't be part of the system anymore. But this is the big truth that we have to deal with, someone who's starting from the bottom won't get to the top quickly. And so, they have to bear with the system, learn it and understand it so they can get out of it once they figure it out. I think that everyone is thoughtful of their families but, it's not always that we have to carry them on our shoulders. Having debts is also one of the reasons why someone can move up their living because of how interest rates grow. But in financial knowledge, try to eliminate the debt first and minimize to completely remove it so that you can move on with the next chapter of your plans and you'd be grateful that you're debt-free. That's the start you'll live happily even if it's paycheck to paycheck but as soon you figure it out, you'll have a better status of living.

Yes, it all comes with a plan. Analyzing the situation and what are the possible ways of getting out of the debt. And being grateful still despite the situation will help you come out of it. Now coming back to your quoted post I think it is true a lot of people lack the job and they plan to get a good job to make some money and employement rates are very low as well but this also depends on the financial condition of a person like if a person is making money only for himself/herself and don't have a whole family to feed then they should take risk and look out for more jobs.

But if you have a whole family to feed you won't take any risks because I have been there and kind a still are, when we have responsibilities we don't want to take risk with other jobs just because some of your friends asked you to change, the real question relies in why we want to change in the first place, is the salary bad, or you don't get enough respect at work, well, I have a friend who was a developer and he have very good skill set but and he got a job in a good company that pays a good amount of money but he left it because he was not getting respect and peace at work so he left but he did not had a family to feed in his place if there is a person who would have a family he would have never left that job.

Speaking of hanging on a little longer this also depends on this, people with responsibilities want to hang but with no, they don't give a shit I hope every one in the world must have enough strong financial conditions that they could change their jobs if they are finding any and could take the step and risk.

It's not hard to find a job, it's hard to find a good job, where you do almost nothing and get paid a lot. Lots of people in my country complain about no jobs and low pay but in construction, even if you don't know a thing and only work as manual labour, you can earn a very good salary but people are lazy and they don't want to work there, so they sit at home and complain.

You know alot of people feel that we are still in Those days when you will sit at home and be expecting manner to fall down from heaven, they have not realize that we have go past this stage so we shouldn't be sitting at home and be expecting a good job to locate us when we can't even work hard or struggle to get this job Which we intend to get, some people dream about working in a very big company where they earn a decent amount after this they won't even think of struggling rather they will choose to stay back and be waiting for the dream to manifest, maybe after waiting for like 2 to 3 years without any sign they start complaining Sometimes they will start putting the blame on something without knowing that is due to thier laziness.

Here locally, salaries in very big companies are very low. You'll work in a very good environment but your salary will be very low, a manual labour will earn 2-3 times more than someone who works in a big company. The only exception is IT sector. Those who are into web development, it support and similar jobs, they are paid very well and have a lot of free time during working hours.
Good job is good but it's only for those who were born in rich families and have good connections. For those, who aren't born with these privilegues, they have to earn it through hard work and dedication. Maybe you work as a manual labor today but you'll be in a different place tomorrow and I've seen examples of that. Sitting at home and complaining will not do anything good but working can get you some connections.

Well, for me, what this preaches is nothing but humility, and as good as that is, it will not change our situation for good. In my experience, it's easier to find a new job while you're still employed than when you're unemployed.
It seems companies don't look favorably on applicants who haven't worked, especially for a long period of time, but maybe every company is different.

In my country, it's difficult to find work, especially if you're over 40.

In my opinion, it's much better to have a low-paying job that can even lead to delayed pay than to have no job at all. At least the person who has a low-paying job has the hope of saving money to start a business and earn more money. This could mean having a house, a car, and more possessions, improving their living conditions.

But if they quit their job without another job or business, they will suffer every day. They won't have help from anyone; they will always be asking others for things, and they won't give them to them. Unfortunately, in this world, when you don't have money, you suffer a lot.

Contentment in life will differ on each person because there are those who do easily get contented on what they do have and there are those ones who would be thriving to have a better life. Yes, its not bad to have those inspiration on making your life way more better but make it sure that you wouldnt be that overdoing it and compromise things specially on health. It's not wrong to ask for more, but there are times when we are too confident that we may fall because of what we will do. I remember that one NBA player being offered $20M contract and ended up with only $8M on another team because they refused it, trying to make it higher through waiting. It's either the agent's or the player's fault, but it's a very big mistake that resulted in a loss.
