Don't be surprised, I know how to spot on but I am speaking for those that have no idea if they're AI generated or not. And it's sad to see that some people that produces those type of contents are fooling people around and they're not stopping once they see that views to their contents are shooting up. Like with the google veo 3, many of those 7 seconds footages that are knitted together to make some story, they're obvious AI generated but some still believe they're real.

Well i give you that. SOME people don't probably care if something is AI generated or modified. I mean Trump insisted that Abrego Garcia had 'MS-13' tattooed on his knuckles, even though they weren't even tried to embed them in on the picture he was talking about.

And it's not like most of his cult would care about something they could confirm as it takes 2 minutes of their time. And sad thing is that even when it's video, audio or news from from pre-AI era, some people are going to say it's AI when it fits their narrative. I mean they already probably believe to flat earth already.

Sure, but currently it isn't dependable at that. Deeper you dig, more things it's likely to invent itself. Not too long ago i asked it about changing memory to my laptop model and it actually started to argue that my model had screws in places it didn't have. And when i asked for sources for it, they were all unrelated.

It's still just a complex language model and nothing more, and when we start to rely on the idea hat it can help with something like that, and we are actually using more time when we need to check the answers for both to original post and the AI. And since AI is being trained all around from all the net, in the end it can be using it's own disinformation as a source, as amount of that is going to be overwhelming.

People have this weird attention-seeking thing that makes them to nut job irrespective of whatever the outcome of their action will be. One should be aware of social media news. Most of the fake news and rumors are spread through these platforms. Not only small scams but also big scams have been done through this social media.

There was an incident in Los Angeles, USA where a 66-year-old woman got involved in a relationship with Steve Burton, the actor of a series called “General Hospital”, after connecting him on Facebook. She was deceived through fake profiles, messages and Video clips and due to the fraud, she paid $81304 through Bitcoin and other platforms and suffered losses.

Also, there have been many incidents in the USA where fraudsters have used social media to deceive people by using fake identities and suggesting that they use investment platforms. Not only in the United States, but in all corners of the world, there are fraudulent groups who are only creating fake news or other deceptions and causing harm.

The impact of fake news in the society can never be overemphasized,it have triggered war where properties worthy millions of dollars were lost including lives.some people deliberately engaged in fake news sharing just to attract traffic on there Facebook pages for monetary gain in the expense of others that it will negatively affect.it will be imperative if government should enact law to punish offenders to checkmate there excess.it has done more harm than good in our society.drastic measures are required to curbs it's more spreading especially at the social media handles.

This  topic reminds me of what I saw on tiktok earlier as I was going through tiktok reels, I came across a Post where they posted one tiktok influencer this lady is well known for creating tiktok reels and she's from uganda I was shocked when I saw a post where she was lying helplessly so I was skeptical so I had to search for her main page to see when last she posted a reels. then when I checked I discovered that she made a post about 13hours ago meanwhile the Post that I saw her lying helplessly was made before this post then I was convinced that the information is not coming from a reliable source, but from someone who is just trying to ruing her reputation all in the name of wanting to grow her Page.

Fake news has become a very big problem in our societies, you need to first doubt any news that you hear on social media until you verify from different sources which is not supposed to be so. The next level of fake news is using AI to impersonate people's voices and images, especially notable people to spread fake news, people will think that it is the person that is being impersonated that is speaking, many people have been scammed through this means. It is worrisome that trusted news sites have been used to spread these fake news and it is reducing their reputations, they really should be verifying news before allowing people to post on their sites.

In recent times, the use of AI in social media has increased so much that real news is buried under fake news and the common people are confused. All such fictional news is added to real news that anyone can be confused from there. The most notable thing is that most people do not give importance to social media news as before, they use multiple media to verify the truth. For example, if I see a news on social media, I do not accept it easily when I see that a reliable TV or reliable news media is broadcasting it. If not, then I consider that news on social media as fake news.

You are right, a lot of people are creating fake news with AI and is becoming more popular now and they are using it to scam people which is very bad, I have seen a lot of news that are created with AI and they are all fake news but it looks very real, I see this news especially in social media platforms.
