Will ETH Crash or Cash in the Future?

We practically FUD'd ETH and watched it turn from a 2015 dream into the DeFi and NFT backbone that has reshaped the crypto market. I’ve been thinking about its future for the next couple years, whether it could it soar to $6,500 if ETFs pump in cash and L2s like Polygon tame gas fees, with 1.2 million monthly transactions showing its strength.

But thenn, what if a quantum computing breakthrough flips the script, outpacing ETH’s security? Or if tough rules and too much staking drag it to $2,800? I’m torn between excitement and worry, where do you see ETH going?

Of course you should be concerned, and the reason for concern is very simple: every year more altcoins appear that are direct and indirect competitors of ETH, and this causes investors to divide their money into many altcoins. Unlike in the past, when the number of altcoins was low, people concentrated money in a few altcoins, this caused the price of altcoins to rise a lot. Today, things are very worrying for old altcoins, see for example:



The price of ETH has fallen a lot in the last 2 years, even with the price of bitcoin rising a lot, the price of ETH in relation to BTC has not risen much, which indicates that there are few buyers, what is happening is that with the large increase in the price of bitcoin, ETH in the ETH - USDT pair benefited, that's why it rose, but that does not mean that ETH is rising a lot, that is, for the price of ETH to reach $6,500, it will only happen if the price of bitcoin rises to $240,000

You are correct, only those coins that outpace the growth of Bitcoin are actually rising. However, one must keep in mind that this only applies to old coins such as ETH. Obviously a newly created shitcoin with a $1m marketcap can do a 100x easier than Bitcoin can, but that does not make it a good project. Plenty of people don't know about ETH/BTC or are dismissive of it because it defeats their wrongly held beliefs about this scam coin.

For most of its history it has under performed and this is with massive amount of supply centralization and free issuance with the premine.

It is called pump and dump which means it will do both. However, the pumpability of big shitcoins is always dwindling with time; specially shitcoins like ethereum that relied on ICO hype, something they tried to keep alive by changing its name many times but had less success than they expected. This can't be sustained forever, its contribution to pumps is weakening (hence the smaller subsequent pumps since 2018) as more token platforms emerge that do the same thing but better than ethereum!

Well Ido think Ethereum will be ok in the future we will not see a crash. Alot of investors did think we would see a bigger price now with Bitcoin reaching new all time highs.
We can all say Ethereum is not making the gains we did think it was going to. But it still is the second biggest coin only behind Bitcoin with $432 Billion marketcap.  Jsut hodl and do not worry about the price it will make us some profit.

There have been so security breeches, no changes in the fundamentals so  there are no reasons to panic or worry about the future of Ethereum. I think it will rise in the latter part of this year & reach new all time highs. Make sure to take some profits though.

ETH has already reached $4900 this year before it dropped below that; it will not take it long to get to $4500 since it was an amount it just previously reached. It's just a matter of time. ETH is a major altcoins, which makes it stand a better chance of making it to the top before other shitcoins can reach new levels.
