In my opinion, by not spending all of our daily income or setting aside just 1% of it, we can avoid gambling addiction. Most importantly, we must instill in our minds never to view gambling as a means of earning income, but rather as entertainment. This way, it won't lead to gambling addiction, and we should never force ourselves after losing several times, as forcing ourselves to gamble will make it difficult to control our emotions.
good, this is also a strategy, not all strategies work, let's say that there are some that work, some that don't. This one seems to work well enough to me, so definitely worth a try then i would like to say that everyone finds their own personal way to create a sort of limit, never stop trying

The best option to avoid getting stuck in gambling is to find something else to immerse yourself in. In my opinion, the ideal solution is to pick a hobby that truly interests you, and as you develop it, eventually monetize your skills and passion. When your mind is occupied with something engaging, there’s much less time and desire for gambling addiction to develop. Most of our bad habits grow simply because we have nothing to keep us busy and too much free time.

If someone wants to avoid becoming addicted to gambling, first of all they should not see gambling as a way of making money. Once someone thinks of making money from gambling they will always see it as a business or an investment and they will not care about how much they are spending, because they will constantly chase wins which are not guaranteed and can easily become addicted. Gambling addiction often develops with the amount of time we spend on it, so if someone gambles often they can easily become addicted. To avoid becoming addicted, we should avoid actions that make us gamble frequently gamble. For example, having a budget for gambling activities may help a person avoid getting addicted.

Gambling is an addiction, which means that if you gamble, you are an addict. However, the severity of your addiction to gambling is the problem. The more you gamble, the more severe your addiction will be. Even if you only place small bets, because sometimes you will want more than usual. That's where big problems arise, spending all your money in a short time. If you want to overcome your gambling addiction, reduce your time gambling and apply your budget before gambling.
I disagree with you, there's a difference between someone that gambles and a gambling addict. Someone that is addicted finds it hard to control his or her impulses, this makes them.gamble uncontrollably. There are people that gamble just to entertain themselves without it having any negative effect on them. Gambling addiction doesn't just start in a day it is actually something that you as an individual allow

In fact, the main thing here is self-control. The one who cannot control himself basically becomes addicted. If he could control himself, he would never have become addicted to gambling. If someone thinks that he is becoming addicted, then at the beginning he should pay attention to what needs to be done to remove himself from now on. For this, he can follow some steps if he wants, he can take a break from gambling for a few days. He can keep himself busy with other recreational activities instead of thinking about winning or losing. By paying attention to some things in this way, it is possible to be saved from gambling addiction. Your opinion shouldn't be far from the very best strategy for a victim or potential gambling addiction to get out of the mess. Controlling oneself emotions from gambling is everyone's responsibilities and it's better to begin tackle it when it begin show the signals that you're going out of the orderliness as responsible gambler. If only we can keep it at the back of your minds that prevention is better than cure, we can possibly notice it when we're going contrary and then taking a step to kill that dangerous urge will be easier and safe us less energy and prevents the worse that was to happen to us as act of addiction.

Gambling addiction doesn't just start in a day it is actually something that you as an individual allow Addiction is born through wrong decisions and wrong mindset, if you keep yourself right it will never harm you, look at the responsible gamblers around you, who gamble but never face excessive losses. But we have all seen those who gamble aggressively expecting big success from it, they end up addicted and lose a lot of what they have worked hard to achieve. So here everything depends on what kind of mindset you have, if you have the right mindset it will never have a negative effect on you, gambling never leads a gambler to ruin if he does not gamble wrongly.

Hobbies are usually the solution to turn us away from gambling considering that hobbies are favorites that never get bored so that is actually what should be pursued. Sometimes hobbies can make money, right? I don't know what hobbies you like, the important thing is that you can still do it or there are skills, I'm sure that person can do it. Addiction is difficult to get rid of at once, it must be slowly little by little then you will get used to what you are doing.

Gambling has been in an existence long time ago and it has always been fun all the way. Many people got involved in gambling just to have fun while some other people see it as there own way of expressing passion for games, sporting bet etc. however gambling that was initially made for fun and excitement later became a major problem to humanity due to addiction that has lead to the down fall of many young people that got involved in gambling.
These has kept me worried and restless so I decided to ask this questions :
- how can we avoid or control our gambling activities so that's it wouldn't lead to addictions ?
-how often should we gamble?
Like I usually say gambling can affect one base on the way the folk approach it. That's why there's big difference between irresponsible and responsible gamblers . Yes most irresponsible gamblers are addicted to gambling , that's why they usually turn out being irresponsible or reckless gamblers. Responsible gamblers are always concerned with the risk , like how to reduce it or control it from going overboard. They usually keep to their budget while gambling, and such method is one of the best way to avoid gambling addiction.

Gaming is supposed to be recreational, something thrilling and fun. Most people gamble for just the sheer thrill it offers, while some do it as a hobby, or maybe this is their way of showing love toward games or sports. As earlier said, what mostly begins in the light turns into a grave issue once an individual loses control and sinks into addiction—an act that has the potential of destroying lives—and yes, particularly among young people.
One of the best ways to prevent this is not to gamble alone. That is also a practice I have taken up. When we are by ourselves, the emotions are not balanced and we tend to make decisions on impulse—such as chasing losses, raising bets without thinking, or playing longer than planned. With friends or other people around, we become more self-aware and less likely to fall fully into the game.

When someone gambles within reasonable limits, it's unlikely to lead to a gambling addiction. However, when someone gambles uncontrollably, it's highly likely to develop an addiction and create further problems in their lives. It is true that when we gamble alone, we can make wrong decisions or be greedy when we win, and if we have friends to accompany us in betting, of course they will help us in betting by avoiding greed, which will certainly result in losing a lot of money in betting.

Essentially, addiction is caused by ourselves, especially our mindset. Addiction can occur not only in gambling but also in other areas if we have the wrong mindset. Many people become addicted to gambling because they think incorrectly about gambling, thinking they can definitely win when in fact, the chance of winning is small and the chance of losing is high. This makes them unable to accept defeat, which leads to a desire for revenge and ultimately addiction. Understanding the meaning of addiction is important, because it is directed at one's own mistakes, not the gambling itself. Furthermore, gambling doesn't force anyone to continue.
You're right, all we do in life comes from our mindset, and if there's any addiction a side gambling because like you said , we're face with many additions in life, and to fight it or end it, you must fight it from inside. Which is your mindset, once you agree not to continue again from inside your heart and you mean it, then you will defeat that addiction. However, another way to stop gambling addiction is never to indulge in it, once you addicted it's very hard to end, it's like masturbation if you listen to those that are involved in it, as and they're struggling to get out of it, that's same situation in gambling once you're addicted to stop is very hard. Except you change your mindset and get a job that keeps you busy, then reduce your gambling habit, bet once in a while, with so doing you will forget it. Yes, that's right. When we have the desire to fight that mindset and are able to stop or discontinue it, we are already saving ourselves from a major problem. In my opinion, gambling addiction is a major problem because it can destroy lives, whether financially, health-wise, or even career-wise. So, those who can avoid addiction are fortunate because they can save their lives from the destruction of gambling addiction. Recovering from addiction is not easy; it requires hard work because it requires the perpetrator to be able to fight their urge to gamble. Many people fail to recover, but even so, there are also those who succeed, although the number is much smaller.

Absolutely right, gambling addiction is not actually the amount but how frequent or consistent one is to gambling, that is why they are being addicted and it’s also affecting their mental health as well. To avoid gambling addiction for the benefit of your mental wellbeing is by reducing how frequent one gamble and stick to gambling within your budget, don’t neglect those policy that governs gambling because it helps in managing gambling habits.
It's clear that when someone becomes addicted to gambling, it can affect their mental health. For example, they may think they'll lose more often, which is unacceptable. The frequency of these losses can be overwhelming, and if they can't cope, this can trigger stress, which can clearly affect their mental health. To avoid addiction, we must stick to a predetermined budget, with the maximum limit within our means. The beginning of addiction can be caused by gambling beyond our means.

~It's important that people spend time having fun in the real world and less time gambling in casinos; this is one of the best ways to avoid addiction.
Yeah, right, and I would add, in online casinos too you should spend less of your time. Gambling can be a great thing for relaxation and you can rest from your main job with it and then work much more effectively, but if you turn into a gambling addict, there's nothing good in it right away. It's like with everything - if it's too much of it, it's not healthy.

I think it's absolutely forbidden to gamble more than once a week. Yes, some gamblers will say that's too little, but I think it's a pretty lenient measure; it's generally better to gamble no more than once every three weeks. Why is that? Habits form very quickly, and in the case of gambling, if someone breaks the two-week taboo and gambles the following weekend, they're gambling every weekend. And that's way too often. You see, I'm trying to make it clear that the line is very fine.

It all depends on how much time the gambler spends in such a gaming session. Two different players might play once a week, but how much will they lose? One might bet the minimum stakes on slots, while the other will bet $5 per spin. Ultimately, their results by the end of the evening will be different, as will their emotional state. Someone playing for small amounts is unlikely to take either losses or wins seriously. On the other hand, another gambler will experience much more intense emotions that evening.

Even if they implement their own rules, if their mindset is problematic, those rules won't have a significant impact or bring positive effects, such as preventing addiction. Perhaps one important factor is awareness. Players will strive to reduce their gambling, which can lead to addiction, if they realize that gambling isn't something they have to resort to.

I totally disagree with you, there is nothing forbidden to gamble more than once in a week and how much someone should gamble a week is not written down anywhere though some people may try to come up with an average number of time someone should gamble a week. You can gamble as many times as possible in a week so long as it doesn't affect you negatively and you are not getting addicted because myself I gamble more than twice a week depending on if there are nice games in that week because I mostly play sports bet and yet I don't regret doing it because I'm using my head.

I think being more flexible with my gambling is better, and sometimes I don't gamble at all for a week or even more. As long as we have a budget, we can gamble whenever we want, but if our budget runs out, we shouldn't force ourselves to gamble. I personally have no reason to gamble once a week. However, if it makes you comfortable and allows you to control yourself, then that's fine and actually good, because it means you're understanding your own desires and can minimize addiction.

If you're already addicted, you should definitely involve a psychologist and other experts, as overcoming it alone is difficult. For those of us who aren't addicted, discipline is key. This includes setting time limits, sticking to targets, and limiting access. This can be done by deleting apps. We can even distract ourselves with other positive activities. Even communicating with family can bring peace to our lives. IMO

Yep, it's always up to us, we can't blame gambling to what's happening to us because it's our decision and action in the first place. Getting addicted is due to our actions and how we lack discipline on things like the gambling and blaming it is like the worst-case scenario for an addict. We have a lot of choices, and we are already in 2025 which has a lot of ways to avoid gambling addiction and yet, there are people still at risk because they lack the control and discipline that's required.
