Which economic related issue has crypto solved? We need good leaders to solve such issues and not crypto. Although, bitcoin and some other crypto has helped people in Nigeria in making money, for investment and to hedge against inflation.

It will be good if bitcoin can be used in some institutions like in school for payment of school fees. According to what happened in El Salvador after the country accepted bitcoin a legal tender, it showed that bitcoin will not compete with local currency. But do not expect our government to allow that because they will not recognize any currency than naira.

As for the use of stable coins, they should not accept it unless it is pegged or backed by naira. Just bitcoin should be allowed. But this that happen, I will wake up from my dream.

If for nothing, I have noticed that, bitcoin and the internet in general has limited a whole of crimes and cultism in the country as compared to previous times and I also understand that, we can’t expect bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large to solve problems met for the government but at some point, it is giving more edge to users and holders helping them not to pay more attentions to the misfortunes of the government.

The economic situation of Nigeria has made everyone focus on digital skills and cryptocurrency. No one is coming to save anyone not even the government. They only have eyes on what would benefit them not what would benefit the economy. Once they sight anything that the youths are using to survive,they try their very best to put obstacles on it.

The government will not even dare make crypto a legal tender to an extend crypto is use as a means of exchange. Individual adoption and institution adoption of bitcoin has been on rapid increase in Nigeria but we what is here for us to see, it is very obvious that our government has been a major setback and the reason why we have not been able to get to the level we want to be, there lies and hatred for digital currency is too espacially bitcoin and I have come to realize that maybe the Blockchain technology has been the reason why Nigeria government dont what to take any about bitcoin serious, you know that decentralisation is not our language in this country, have a central data where everyone see what's coming in as the revenue without any funds diversion and what is been been spent wouldn't go well with the money monger in power.

Point of correction: Crypto did not solve the economic problems of the country because despite that many Nigerians are now into cryptocurrency; it only brought individual financial liberation to those who are into cryptocurrency and but didn't have any economic boost because everything is still the same. The Naira is still experiencing depreciation, and the cost of goods and commodities are still very much on the increase so there is actually not much positive effect on the national economy.
       Is there any need to make cryptocurrency legal tender? NO, if that happens the government will start taxing us on every crypto transaction we perform so it rather still remains the way it is, all we need is more awareness and adoption.

Yes, you are right. Currently, the use of crypto is seen in many places in our country. Which is really a matter of pride. Our country is trying to keep pace with the big countries of the world. This progress will gradually help our country establish itself as a world-renowned country. Due to the use of crypto, inflation has now decreased in our country.
