Hello everyone! It is our One Year Anniversary here at Bitzillions!! We have had a very successful, fun, and issue free year with BitcoinBTC dice betting tallying almost 300,000 individual, on chain bets. To celebrate this, we have completed an entire overhall of the site with a makeover, the addtion of Litecoin Betting, Dogecoin Betting (has launched for stake/investing!), and the return of the option to BET ON THE HOUSE and invest!

So, as for the announcements:
  • We have finally finished our long awaited facelift of the site. A little personality while you win BTC, LTC, and DOGE can't hurt! Let us know what you think!
  • We have added support for Litecoin Betting! As with the initial SatoshiBones launch for the btc side, we are bringing back the BET ON THE HOUSE opportunity to invest, as well! We are selling 10% of all future profits from the Litecoin dice game. You can invest your LTC and reap the profits as they come! We currently have about 70% 91% 97% of the stake spoken for so first come first served!
  • Dogecoin support will be added this weekend or early next week is now underway! We will also be offering our BET ON THE HOUSE opportunity to invest. The initial amount for investing in the Doge side is still being considered based on the market. You can now check out the initial SatoshiBones Dogecoin site now! We would love some feedback on this.
  • We have finally broken out of our stubbornness and created a Twitter, Facebook, and Google+! Follow, like, or... uh, hug us for the latest news, contests, promotions and general musings.

Now for the Litecoin CONTEST!
  • To launch the Litecoin Betting on SatoshiBones we decided to run a couple contests! We are going to give 1.0 LTC for the those who place the 100th (Paid), 200th Paid, 300th Paid, 400th, and 500th bets! The bet numbers are found on the left most side of the always live bet list!
  • Those who make the 100th-500th bets listed above will receive a manual transaction of 1 LTC with the fee covered on our side to the address that originated the bet with no exceptions.
  • We will post the tx ids of the 1 LTC contest winners here and on our twitter.
  • Who likes free? I like free. You like free. We will CONTINUE to run promotions and contests as we go forward!

We are super excited for this huge update! We have many more features being considered and currently worked on such as new games beyond dice as well as chat and user accounts to get our community going!

We are absolutely open to any feedback, criticism, or comments! This is all new to us and would appreciate your thoughts!! Thanks so much!

We had our 100th LTC bet! It was a 0.5 LTC bet that won 0.9814.  I will be updating the thread with the TX of the complimentary 1.0 LTC gift to the originating address of the 100th bet. Again, the 200th, 300th, 400th, and 500th LTC bet at http://bitzillions.com/satoshibones/ltc will receive 1.0 LTC regardless of the bet size, win, or loss.

The option to purchase a monthly returning 10% stake of all future LTC profits is still available but quickly dwindling. At the moment, 91.64% of the stake is spoken for, leaving only 8.36% still available for investor purchase. If you'd like to purchase a portion of the stake, visit the Stake page for more details as well as a live update of how much remains available. If you have any questions, send me an email here, PM, or reply to the post!

I'd still love to hear any thoughts, criticisms, or suggestions on not only the LTC portion of our site but also our flagship BTC side. We will be launching the Litecoin betting to the general public shortly.

Hey Pat! So, the total number of bets for both the BTC and LTC portions are listed on the far left of the live bet list. Although now I see that we simply have it listed as "ID". Good point! We will have to attend to that to make it more clear. Thank you!

Site looks good and congrats on surviving for a year in this market! That is indeed an impressive feat. However, I feel I must ask why do you offer on the chain betting? Isn't this much slower and harmful to bitcoin than off chain?

The Litecoin side of our side is now completely live. Some of you right at the start made away with quite the profit.

Also, since we are now at 350+ bets, we will be doling out the 1.0 LTC gift to those who placed the 200th and 300th bets shortly!

    The 200th bet gift: http://block-explorer.com/tx/e372aeca22fcd8d9fea2ea67f57495f23a97bebacd7342aa8e75fc4bf2d701ea

    The 300th bet gift: http://block-explorer.com/tx/ee910fb95d10eb76bea99ee940bf2a6f940abdc6f580968296e498e342465a86

The 400th and 500th are still up for grabs and will also receive 1.0 LTC regardless of bet size, win, or loss. Thanks for playing!

    Hi Rulishix,

Thank you! It has definitely had its major ups and downs. The whole gox situation, culminated with everything else, seemed to make for a bad outlook but we happy to be moving forward (and we were no stranger to the losses incurred, either). Did you happen to see or use the site before the recent makeover? Any thoughts?

There's numerous reasons we are still utilizing the on chain betting method, but a few stand out. Like with many exchanges (coughgoxcough), betting sites, and other services there is the issue of transparency and security. A lot of people don't want to deposit tens, hundreds, or even millibits into a cryptocurrency casino's care/wallet and bank on their solvency or trustworthiness. Granted, we may be at a disadvantage that betting can be slower or more cumbersome, however the numbers seem to show that people don't mind too much. We have definitely heard both sides of the story in feedback. That being said, we are actually in the process of offering offchain betting for a variety (a zillion) different games for our version 2.0 of the site. That will be in the future, and will be offered for BTC and Altcoins, but we will likely never abandon the on-chain side of SatoshiBones for the reasons mentioned above.

I hope that answers your question!

Hey thanks!! We were just as surprised to still be around haha. If you're interested in the Litecoin SatoshiBones there's still a chance to hit the 500th bet and nab 1.0 LTC win or lose Wink.

Also, keep an eye out (hint hint) on the BTC Satoshibones for the same style give aways very soon. We are trying to take a more active role in the player community. I'm trying to keep up with updating our twitter for that kind of stuff as well.

Looks like we got the 400th and 500th bet! That was fast.

    The 400th bet gift: http://block-explorer.com/tx/41fc9af8a07cc7293c56c9bcb0be29077d9a4072172742531e60c0e0a0a1e102

    The 500th bet gift: http://ltc.blockr.io/tx/info/fb3f0232f759e553479cef0259ecad48b8d67a148d8c785b44fb854e3022bbb4

Note: We have switched to using http://ltc.blockr.io/ for the LTC transaction links that coincide and update with each successive bet. Appears to update quicker over block explorer.

We still have about 441 (~9%) Litecoins of the initial 10% stake still available for purchase. The BET ON THE HOUSE offer will be available until the last portion is sold! If you prefer investing over gambling a portion of the stake is a good option.

Site is down at the moment.

We have suffered a denial l of service attack unfortunately but are sorting it out now.

Don't panic!! Will be returning shortly. Smiley

And we're back! The only thing affected was the webpage showing the active bet list. Bet processing and service was never affected and all continued (all processing is done away from the main site, there were zero delays in receiving or sending payments). Total disruption time was less than 45 minutes. Smiley
