Ever since i introduced my friend to the DCA method of trading in btc he has been having some good turn up but he was asking me if i can loan him some money so he can add up to boost his staking so please guys how do i go about it should i give him or i shouldn't.

If it is really necessary, then give it to them with the intention of not getting it back, if you cannot afford it, then avoid it. Because most of the time, lending money ruins the relationship. In that case, where the companies give loan for a 5 or 10 years, they won't take it back till that time but still they will charge high interest rates. There  are two things I actually don't like doing which are; taking a loan to invest in bitcoin, and secondly, lending money to my friend especially a significant amount. Investing in crypto using loan money increases pressure and deter patience to wait for the right time for the investment to mature to give a good ROI.  The investment may not be ripe for profit within the timeframe given to repay the loan. I can also lose my friendship because of that money if unpaid, so I can only help a friend by giving what I can neglect if unable to pay back.

It doesn't make sense. Dollar Cost Averaging is supposed to be a long-term investment, buying the same value of Bitcoin in dollars at fixed intervals (let's say for example $100 worth of Bitcoins monthly). This allows everyone to invest in Bitcoin even in small amounts. Taking up a loan to boost his gains isn't DCA anymore, it is an emotional decision influenced by the profit that he was seeing, which is risky. I personally won't give him a loan, unless there is a collateral.

It's your choice whether to loan him or not because it's your money and no one can make best decision on that except you. If you are lending him some money then you must know that it will take time before his DCA strategy will start giving him profit and you have to wait till that time to get your loan back. Loan is usually required in Lump Sum investment where we invest all our capital at once, in case of DCA we keep investing some money on weekly or monthly basis.

It's best in interest of your friend to not go for loan rather invest what he has at it's disposal.
