"reasonable suspicion" is not a thing. the actual law/full context is "able to articulate reasonable suspicion of a crime"
you cant just walk upto someone and say they look suspicious. you have to both articulate what crime they look suspicious of and articulate what lead to that suspicion. and it cant just be race based, nor gut feeling.. it has to be some actual detail, fact, evidence, witness which needs to back up the suspicion

for instance ICE should pre-investigate by either having someone call in that their employer is hiring undocumented workers. for ice to then approach the work site to then investigate peoples work permits, to then have reasonable suspicion that they could be illegal migrants.. they cant just drive down a street and then see some random hispanic and shout "you look suspicious, stop we need to id you"
EG even just a whistle blower calling in a statement of illegal workers does not by itself lead to suspicion of illigal migration. it could just be a american on social security benefits working under the books for extra income. which is a separate crime. however finding out about the social security crime suspicion could lead onto illegal migrant suspicion when investigating the first crime suspicion and resulting in finding out they have no social security nor american ID

its like the difference between
1. a random hispanic guy walking down a street to go to a super market.
vs
2. a hispanic guy, in work clothes loitering in a spot near a supermarket with other hispanics in work clothes trying to flag down trucks that do manual labour

number 1 has no justification to do a stop and search, however 2 is more justified but still needs a little more observation first to ensure its not just some random guy having casual conversations with fellow hispanic-american citizens. This is where my current government under Trump and project 2025 have it wrong and that is one of a thousand reasons why Millions of Americans have been peacefully protesting for months...also why that square mile in LA was on fire. What I have put here is tame compared to my feeds. They are not showing warrants and they are taking them out of hearings for documentations and from in front of Home Depots (where I have hired many a worker in past years)

Republican town halls have not been going well, the one I linked to was actually interesting for the whole 1-2 hours, that lady from a different angle came up in one of my feeds ----that's the energy we need.

why doesnt a illegal migrant just get on a plane, train, automobile and just come into america like most world tourist do
the answer is that they already came the tourist way or the work permit way, and breached the terms of those temporary visa's, got banned and are not suppose to come back
so they then try again, but then have to use human trafficker routes and gaps in the border to avoid port authorities/border patrol

my world view is that world travel should be as easy as buying a plane ticket and getting a visa with it by default
even getting a work permit should be as easy as applying for a job.
extending a temporary visa should be as easy as paying for a parking ticket and then paying to extend the time
it should never be some drawn out lottery where only the exceptionable people get the fast pass/golden ticket to work and reside

but when it comes to criminal elements that keep abusing a system, and abusing citizens there should be LEGAL ways to remove them
whereby they are investigated first before being approached so that normal legal people are not caught up in events of detainment and being poked and prodded about their lives aka collateral arrests

by doing the legal investigation first will tick the legal boxes of probably cause and such before even approaching a person to detain/arrest and go through the deportation process

There is nothing preventing a ICE mercenary agent from "articulating" a suspicion of anyone being "illegally in the country". But it does not matter because at this point the law can be safely ignored and all state attorneys have been cowed and replaced by Trumpists, and let's not forget the SCOTUS... so even if they do something illegal... well, it will be "made legal" on whatever excuse.

Liberals in North America are pretty despicable people. They use doxxing as a form of warfare. These agents are forced to try and hide their identity as a result in order to do their jobs and provide for their families. The internet has some downsides I guess but I think practices like doxxing will be more frowned upon by society in the future, not less.

What this picture tells me is the left wing backing up their system of virtues and values with force, while the other wing (or wings) do not defend them self, even when they clearly have the moral standing to do so. Not only do these agents have to worry about individuals taking action against them if identified, but rest assured many of them are very much targets to administrations opposing ICE in the future.

The budget for ICE was significantly expanded in the "BIG Beautiful Bill" and reported to have a budget larger than most militaries (while Medicaid got cut). They are hiring people and offering big bonuses.
Laws are  being proposed to require the masks to come off for law enforcement and endless lawsuits are being filed for the violations of our amendments (civil protections and rights). What we are experiencing in real time is what it's like to come up against our own laws and what to do when the government isn't following long established laws?



What would you do if a dozen masked men without a warrant was taking a person off the street in front of you? Does it matter what that person looks like?

I don't think we would have such divisions if actual history and critical thinking was taught in our American schools. Trump's executive order where he talks about "alternative" histories being taught that make white people ashamed about being white should have been a wake-up? For the rest of time....any leader who is afraid of a "woke" population should be avoided.

I love history (outside of school), I'm white and not ashamed of being white; I'm highly annoyed that people don't understand their basic rights, because that IS what it takes for everyone to keep them. The internet has some downsides I guess but I think practices like doxxing will be more frowned upon by society in the future, not less.

I'm a Liberal in North America.

Many different groups have used doxxing --- I do not, have not and would not.
There are plenty of software programs that can do: speech recognition, body rec, gait...
These agents are not rounding up 3000 (three thousand) cartel members everyday.... and it is really hard for me to believe; that you believe that?
History is happening right now but this is a highly documented version unlike past events. This period of time will be in text books.

So? It does not really matter whether something is "frown upon" or not, people will continue to do it, as long as they can get away with it. Don't you think swatting is already frown upon and a crime which can have serious consequences? It is, and guess what: there is still people willing to send cops and swats units to your home as a kind of "prank".
Also, doxxing people on the internet is not something which is exclusively being carry out by the left wing of the United States, it is also done by the alternative right. I have seen it myself.
So really, swatting is not something which can be tagged as a political and social weapong being wield by the left, pretty much anyone into extreme politics can make use of it.
