We will never know but I think Doge will still be around by that time. It's the OG of all memecoins and that's why it's still here. And maybe most of them if the narrative for memes is gone, only the top one stays and let's all put that Doge will still be there. Shiba and pepe, I don't know maybe if its community sticks to it. That's 5 years from now, so they might be there but not as strong as they were.

I thought you would call 50, 100, or more years from now, but I was surprised that you called just 2030, which is the next 5 years. Certainly, those coins will exist in 2030. Even in 100 years, they will likely exist unless the creators of the projects decide to shut them down. And if SHIB and PEPE do not exist, DOGE will exist because it is the king of meme coins.

Crypto space has different classes, and we can never ignore the pioneer of the meme class, which is Dogecoin.

Fun fact: Dogecoin is the only PoW-based "meme" coin (AFAIK) while the rest are simply tokens living within existing blockchain networks. In other words, DOGE has its own independent Blockchain, while "memes" such as PEPE, SHIBA, and BONK don't. This increases DOGE's chances for survival in the long run. Not to mention, fees can remain low due to reduced blockchain bloat. Token-based "memes" like the ones mentioned, are subject to the underlying Blockchain's network performance. So if ETH is extremely-congested, gas fees for such coins will skyrocket like crazy. Same goes for parent chains such as Solana, BSC, and the likes.

2030 is just 5 years away, so odds are the coins mentioned by the OP will still be around with us. But I can't say the same for the next 10-20 years. Crypto land evolves fast, so anything can happen by then. Just "stick" to diversifying your investment, and there should be nothing to worry about.

Agreed, Doge is the best choice in the list OP provided. But I wouldn't doubt or be surprised if Doge hits $1 someday or even in this cycle.

If I remember correctly, Doge's highest ATH was $0.73 during the 2021 bull run. And if Doge hits $1, its market cap would be just $150 billion, which isn't too unrealistic for a coin with a large and loyal community and strong support from Elon.

Not to mention, there has been a lot of buzz about a Doge ETF (big players like Bitwise, Grayscale, and 21Shares have all filed their own ETFs) and if they get approved. $1 is too modest a goal.

Most of them yes will exist but maybe most of crypto wont exist like Dash it was on top 10 with a price of 1100$ while today it is worth 21$

Even in 5 years, memecoins will not do that great. Existing is different than doing great, yes they will exist, but far lower marketcap than what we have right now. It is not going to be that great, we are going to end up with a better result with time, so we should not be expecting it to do that great.

Obviously this is going to be something that will take some time, but because this is not the greatest point right now, we should not be expecting it to be great. So being outside of top 100, is still "existing" technically, and half of it will be outside of it. Maybe doge can still do fine, because no matter what happens, doge still survives, so maybe that can survive, but I expect no other memecoin to exist at all.

To be honest I am surprised that stuff like Dogecoin has not been hacked by now, because such altcoins are based on very outdated versions of older altcoins or Bitcoin itself. They are often many years behind in updates and failed to integrate many security patches.

The farther away the point in history, the fewer predictions you should make. You are more likely to be wrong on your 10-20 years predictions.

Investors and institutions from Wall Street are only interested in profits, nothing more. If the Doge ETF is approved, I believe many other memes will also apply for ETFs and many of them will be approved if ETFs Doge successful.

Before the Doge ETFs were filed, the Doge ETP was also officially approved and operating in Europe. ETPs work similarly to ETFs but belong to the European market.

Also, not just Doge, there are rumors that the Floki ETP has been approved and will be trading soon this year. So in my opinion if altcoins like ETH, XRP, BNB can survive for years to come then there is no reason why OG memes like pepe, shiba or floki will disappear in the next 5 years.

They ARE shitcoins, but they are most likely going to last. Doge for being first one, Shiba Being developed first one. Pepe survives and there will probably be other big ones as well, because there are enough people in this space for hundreds of coins and tribalism is strong in this scene.

I've heard this "next time coins with good fundamentals will rise", but shitcoins and scams always grow more then last time. Because top shitcoins will be like beacons of hope to newcomers, and everyone will hope that their new token will make them rich and join to top meme coins.

We can't be in 2025 and be talking of what will happen in 2030 because to some extent memecoins have no long term existence possibilities since we have seen several of them existing only on the surface and based on the hype's which make memecoins easier to get pumped and dumped, but coins like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu have been in existence for quite some years now and still yet the presence in the market is still most relevant such memecoins can be around in the future.

Well yes I do think those Meme coins will exist in the year 2030. I do think it beuase Ido not think they are scam coins or 'rug pulls'.
There are alot of meme coins that I do not think we will be able to sell on the exchanges. There are thousands of them and I do think there is are new ones that are coming out every day. If we only invest in these we will make some gains I do think.

Why not, these are project that you mentioned with high reputation in crypto, they have shown a good record of performance before now and can still do more in the nearest future, but if i were you, all i will do is to locate more information about the team behind these projects and run a background check on them, then try to find one or two tokens or coins they are also launching of recent and invest, because they are also going to be a blast as the previous ones.

Yeah and if you look at the market historically every cycle introduces new hype coins and projects most of which shine for a short while then fade away leaving only a few survivors people forget that so many coins that were top 20 back in 2017 or 2018 are now nowhere to be found or sitting way outside the rankings memecoins are even more vulnerable to that because they don’t build sustainable ecosystems they mostly rely on trends memes and temporary excitement.Another thing is investor behavior as time goes on more people learn from past cycles and they tend to put their money in assets that show more stability and utility so the shift naturally favors projects that solve real problems or at least maintain long term value propositions doge might continue being a cultural token but the rest are unlikely to hold investor attention once the cycle matures.

As for having account since 2014, i am sure you are aware of this, but in case someone else is reading this:

It was way before tokens were a thing, when it was rather easy to launch a memecoin. We just didn't call them as meme coins. There were just coins with some specific themed names, like cities and animals, persons or anything really. And if one of them was a success, other similar themed coins were launched instantly.

All you needed was to copy the code and write announcement for it. Just having one coder that wasn't talented any way, and a decent graphic artist was a sure way for the gains.

None of them were secure as there were so few miners, so even though all of them had seperate blockchains, they were less secure then generic tokens these days.
